FCK FOMO: The Art of Missing Everything and Winning Anyway

Rate this book
Everyone keeps saying you’ll regret missing out.
This book explains why that’s bullshit.

FCK FOMO is a funny, sharp, deeply relatable takedown of the modern obsession with being everywhere, doing everything, and proving you’re having fun. From forced plans and fake excitement to burnout disguised as a lifestyle, this book exposes how fear of missing out quietly runs people into the ground.

With humor, clarity, and zero preachiness, Tiana Brooks shows why opting out is not quitting. It’s winning.

This book is for anyone

Loves canceled plans but feels guilty about it

Is exhausted from saying yes to things they don’t want

Feels behind even when they’re doing fine

Wants their time, energy, and peace back

You don’t need a better social life.
You need fewer obligations.

Missing out isn’t the problem.
Fear is.

And once the fear is gone, life gets easier, calmer, and surprisingly better.

A very short yet powerful read.

FOMO as we say Fear of Missing Out seems to be playing a powerful role in our lives. It's been constantly saying Yes without considering our own likes and dislikes.

This book helps us overcome FOMO and helps us retain ourselves not in a dramatic way but by slowly helping us realise that we all have to rest often for a better clarity and peace.
