I came to cross the borderlands. I didn’t expect to be claimed in the wolfwood.
One wrong turn. One storm. And suddenly I’m alone in a forest that swallows sound—and scents me like prey.
Then they find me.
Ronan—the feral pack lord who looks at me like I’m already his. Garrick—his silent hunter, all teeth and watchful eyes. Oren—the gentle healer whose hands linger too long. Silas—the scout who smiles like he knows every secret I’m trying to keep.
I tell them I’m just a traveler. A wench with nothing worth taking.
But the moonmark on my skin burns. My heat rises. And the pack-link snaps tight—like my body has been waiting for their scent my whole life.
So I try to keep my distance.
They keep me alive anyway.
Then the storm traps us together… and I stop pretending I can resist them.
Because the terrifying truth is
I wasn’t lost. I was found.

2.75 i felt like I was thrown into the middle of a narrative without explanation. So little world-building is done and it seems to be taken for granted that the reader can follow the lore with no background info. It was entertaining enough, but we get absolutely nothing from the MMCs. Not just because it’s not from their POV, but because they never share their inner thoughts with the FMC, so I never felt the connection between the main characters. Entire passages were repeated multiple times until I thought my kindle was skipping. I finished it, but I won’t be reading any of the other books in the series.
Book had me on the very first page! I love it when it sucks you in like that and you don't want to put it down. I was up till 3am and needed to be at work by 9am! Even though there's more books in this series, it's just part of this world, they all seem to be stand-alones for each relationship. This book has only the FMC POV and it kinda gives off a feeling of dystopian, yet set in medieval times but speaking in current day verbiage. No ye around here. LOL Take a chance on this story, you may enjoy yourselves. On to the next! #HappyReading ❤🔥
The story itself was very good. Medieval setting which you don’t see much for OVs. The alpha characters were men of few words but mostly like able while the omega was not very like able at all lol like I get she is trying to be stubborn and proud but it goes into foolishness and rudeness imo and no change in that even after bonding. Also the spicy scenes are pretty much copy and paste. Same vibe same words same actions and always gotta be quiet lol
Not the usual omega book. This girl is stubborn and snarky and has endured awful experiences. The alphas are distinctively different. The situations they endure are dramatic and somewhat grim. So, very engaging. Now about the writing... Impressively lyrical. Just whole sections of really fine work.
The story line was fantastic and I loved that they didn’t try and “soften” her throughout the story and she kept that hard edge. The smexy scenes were repetitive and I’m almost positive one was completely copy and pasted from earlier in the book. Overall a fun read and interesting take on the Omegaverse.
