Falling Apart is Easy. Fixing it is Hard.
Sophomore year was supposed to be Blake Sims's victory lap. He was starting quarterback and looking at the school's first ever run to state, his investments were growing, and he was continuing to make headway fixing the problems that plagued his family in the dream version of his first life.
Instead, he watches as everything falls apart and his family begins to fracture in ways he can't control; the pressure becomes too much for a fifteen-year-old. Blake is forced to learn the one lesson he couldn't get from his dream, that you can't fix others until you fix yourself.

Tear jerker of a book
Loved the new book in the series, but in the last third I was visibly holding back tear and trying not to yell out in frustration. Excellent work and I am eagerly looking forward to the next installment in the series.

Lost the MC halfway thru the book
Destroyed the MC halfway thru the book and lost me as a reader. Continued on for a bit but his character change was to over the top.

Just the Best
Great story. Hated the "I think I just want to be a loser" part. Still, good characters and cliff-hanger. Can't wait for the next installment.
