Fallon Eyre was supposed to enjoy her early twenties getting drunk with her friends at the local bar and being a generally spoiled princess. Instead, her mother was killed on her 21st birthday. Throw in trying to solve her mother’s murder and Fallon is one bad day away from burning down Mercy Valley.

I absolutely loved reading this book and was so excited to see what's next!
I loved that Fallon stepped into her role as queen with her mates by her side. I absolutely adore how they supported her through her grief etc. I'd absolutely love to see more of their story if it's in the future. I laughed when I tried to imagine marlow's accent because it just didn't sound the same in my head...
The only thing that bothered me was how quickly her mother's killer was dealt with. I would've liked if his end was met with more of an ordeal. Also, I KNEW it was them even before I got to that part of the book. I was absolutely elated when I found out that my instincts were correct!
I’ve read almost all of Taila Cantrell’s books, and Wings of the Dragon might just be my favorite so far. From the very beginning, I was completely hooked. Fallon is such a strong and captivating main character. I love her personality, her backstory, and the way she handles everything thrown at her. And her mates? Let’s just say they definitely add some serious heat to the story. There’s a lot happening throughout the book, but it never feels overwhelming. The separate storylines are easy to follow, and everything flows together really well. It’s packed with action, emotion, and just the right amount of spice.
I love Taila Cantrells books! This first book in the Mercy Valley series was no exception. I enjoyed the storyline. Fallons character is great. You can tell she is young I cant wait to see her grow throughout the series. Her mates yes!!! Marlow is my favorite. Maybe its the accent lol. But they all love her and will do anything for her I love that. This book made me think of zootopia ahaha with all the different Shifters living in the same city in harmony. I loved it. Can't wait for book 2!!
Wow was I sucked right into this one! I did not want to put this book down for even a second! Taila really out did herself with this one! Good story line, spicy scenes, great ending what else could you ask for!
Fallon’s character growth was everything. Watching her go from where she started to fully owning her power and becoming an absolute badass was so satisfying. The drama kept things juicy without being over the top, and honestly… Marlow stole my heart. Such a fun read!
I enjoyed the story, and getting to know the characters. i was definitely satisfied by the ending, and glad we got the answers to the questions the story started with. I look forward to seeing what the characters have coming in books to come!
