WALLS FALL: The Florida Campaign #3

Rate this book
Or-Lan-Do belongs to the expedition now, but at what cost? Twenty-one fighters remain from the original fifty-three, and ahead lie two more cities, two more tyrants, two more impossible battles. As Wilma Deering takes command of the conquered fortress, she faces the choice that will define her hoard the captured supplies for her soldiers, or distribute them to the starving civilians who suffered under Korlo's rule? Her decision draws defectors from the enemy ranks and refugees from the countryside. The expedition begins to grow. A man named Tomás Vega arrives with intelligence about Tam-Pa and a warning about his sister, the one they call Sister Sable. The march south continues, and Wilma carries new weight on her the names of thirty-two dead, and the terrible knowledge of what command truly costs.

A white-knuckle, edge of your seat conclusion to this first arc!

Book three reads like an extended finale delivering on the promise of the first two books. What we get is an exciting battle that makes you believe twenty men could take down an army. At the center of the conflict is Rock, who takes on the role of living-weapon. You're not going to want to miss this one.
