I received a ARC copy from the author and though I didn’t have to post a review, I wanted to offer my honest opinion of its content.

Word searches keep the mind active especially for seniors such as I. It helps stave off dementia and Alzheimer’s in my opinion because it keeps the cognitive mind active searching for the words to find whether in order or backwards or diagonal.

It’s fun and on winter days it’s the perfect thing to do when the weather is such you want to stay indoors anyway. It’s much more entertaining and better than watching mindless tv which only dulls the mind with its stories.

Keep your mind active by engaging it in a useful pursuit like finding words! You get immediate satisfaction when you find the word and it makes you look for the next one!

Turn off the tv and do something that will energize you! When you want to take a break pick up a book and read! Don’t watch tv all day! Take a walk and keep your mind active!
