Once upon a time N.J. had the idea that she would like to quit her job at the bookstore, sell everything she owned, leave her hometown, and write romance novels in a place where no one knew her. And she did. Two years later, she went back to the bookstore and her hometown and settled in for another seven years.
One day she gave notice at her job on a Friday morning. On Sunday afternoon, she received a tentative acceptance for her first erotic romance novel and life would never be the same.
N.J. Walters is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author who has always been a voracious reader, and now she spends her days writing novels of her own. Vampires, werewolves, dragons, time-travelers, seductive handymen, and next-door neighbors with smoldering good looks—all vie for her attention. It’s a tough life, but someone’s got to live it.
Loved, loved, loved, this! These two kept trying to pull away from each other, and then found they couldn’t, wouldn’t, walk away. A strong sense of duty and responsibility laid heavy on them both, for different reasons. The push and pull was all valid, there were forces at work influencing everything around them. Loved their stubbornness, commitment, and self-sacrificing nature. Loved their heat, attraction, and devotion to each other. Loved his family, their creed, and their determination. This starts off the series and I cannot wait for more <3
This was a great way to begin a new series. Omg. I was hooked from the beginning. Elijah is one of seven brothers, known as the Seven Deadly Sins. They are also all werewolves. They live on Sin mountain in Kentucky, but they roam for their jobs, various ones, from bounty hunting, to tracking, as well as other jobs. After he finished a job, he ended up blowing off some steam at a bar/fight club, where he sees/meets a beautiful woman. He realizes who she is to him and tries to fight off the feelings. Kinley Wright is trying to hire him because she needs protection from her pack, because they are old fashioned to the extreme, like medieval. They want to mate her off to someone she hates. Her uncle is the Alpha of the Alabama pack. Her father, who used to be head enforcer, died and now everything is amiss. To her, there are very few good male werewolves, her father, and his friend, Rufus, who gave her the info on Elijah. However, she didn’t realize that Elijah was a werewolf. I got angry after everything we find out about her uncle and what was going on in her pack. So did Elijah, or Eli, once she cornered him, and he realized that she hadn’t slept or ate in a long time. Then we meet Eli’s elder brother, Cyrus, which was very enlightening. I really enjoyed learning about all of the brothers: Cyrus (Pride), Josiah (Greed), Elijah (Wrath), Levi (Lust), Zach (Envy), Noah (Gluttony), and Silas (Sloth). However, just because they are the seven deadly sins, doesn’t mean that they just do those things. Wrath can be flipped to be justice and punishment, etc., for the others.
The more I learned about her uncle, the more that I wanted him taken down. Forcing a mating is horrible. It just shouldn’t happen. Plus, there is something bothering me about her father’s death. Kinley’s bravery, fortitude and fighting spirit is an inspiration. I’m glad that she and Eli met, because they are perfect for each other. They are drawn to each other. But, her old pack still wants her, and will come for her, even tho they retreated back to the brothers have gone back to their mountain and called in the other brothers. All the pain that Kinley goes through and how resilient she is, made me want to cry.
I still can’t decide who is my favorite brother- Levi who makes me laugh, or Zach, that there is just something about. Plus, he is totally nerd hot. I love how all of the brothers work together to protect each other and take care of Kinley. When things finally get steamy, boy do they! lol. Eli is a different kind of romantic. Plus, all of the razzing between the brothers is hilarious and cute. It also makes them normal. It is all just beautiful to see. Then everything gets really crazy and scary when those from Kinley’s pack begin to show up. I’m hoping that after everything, her old pack will learn from the mistakes and change enough that things like this won’t happen again. The fights are freaking awesome. Then there are some shockers and misunderstandings. I love the aftermath and how Eli handles things. I get chills when the brothers told the Alabama pack who they were and they said stuff in stereo. So good. I can’t wait to see what happens next, when each of the brothers find their mates.

Elijah Sin is a bounty hunter, but he's not your general run of the mill human bounty hunter. Eli is also a werewolf. He stays away from other werewolves and pack politics at all costs. He and his brothers are known far and wide as the seven deadly sins, and are outliers living on a Mountain in Kentucky that is known as sin mountain.
Kinley Wright has been on the run since her father's death desperately trying to avoid a forced mating. Not knowing what else to do she tries to hire Eli, only to shockingly discover that he is also a werewolf like she is.
Under threat from her former pack, Eli ends up helping her and breaking all of his and his brothers rules all the while knowing he must turn to his brothers for help. Before this is all said and done blood will be spilled and many lives will be lost. Kinley must learn to trust Eli while feeling explosively attractive to him all at the same time and Eli knows that they may not survive the coming storm.
Wow, this was an amazing book. N.J. Walters is one of my go to authors and she never lets me down. There was non stop action in this book and I felt like I was on the side lines watching a fragile love bloom between two werewolves that no man or wolf could break. Eli was absolutely magnificent and Kinley was so scared, but oh so brave at the same time. There was no way that a war would start without her help. I can't wait to read the next books in the series when they come out. All in all this is one book that you won't want to miss if you have a love for the paranormal.

Review: Wow, Wow, Wow! Hands down the best book I’ve read in months. This book captured me from the very first paragraph to the very end. It’s a page turner, which I couldn’t put down. I stayed up until 3 am to finish this book. The storyline flows flawlessly, the characters are very well developed, and the editing is some of the best I’ve seen in a while. N.J. captured the emotions perfectly, as well as painting a picture where it feels like you’re watching a movie, not reading a book.
Conclusion: Would I recommend this book to others? YES Would I read other books written by this Author? YES Would I buy this book for a friend? YES
This book was given to me by BookSirens for my honest review.
Get comfortable you won’t be putting this down until the last page has been turned. Eli sexy as all get out wolf shifter bounty hunter wrath vengeance as well as bringer of justice if needed he doesn’t abide by pack rules he or his brothers they form their own pack help those in need, go after those that need taken down or brought to justice, and when he is sought out by to stop a forced mating that is just his brand of justice. Kinley has lived in a pack her whole life under her father’s protection until he died, the moment he did she ran to avoid being force into a mating in need of help she does everything in her power to hire Eli but learning he is a wolf like her but with the threat of her pack hot on their trail they head to his brothers and both know there is only one way to stop the mating that is to fight. The magnetic pull is there from the beginning but with the fighting, the running , the lack of trust you would think the pull gets weaking but it only grows stronger but can they fight her pack for her freedom, will it lead to the freedom of others in the same situation, will her pack get what’s coming to them or will they get away with it, did her father die of natural causes, and is there happiness somewhere along the way?
The first book in the Seven Deadly Sins Werewolf Brothers series is a really solid and engaging introduction to a pack that very deliberately keeps to itself. The seven brothers have formed their own pack and want absolutely nothing to do with shifter politics or outside interference—until a female main character turns up carrying a serious amount of trouble with her. What I really enjoyed is the contrast the story draws between a healthy, decent pack and the darker, abusive sides of shifter society. That dynamic adds real weight to the story and makes the world feel more grounded and believable, rather than just being romance for romance’s sake. The characters are well developed, not just the main couple but also the brothers, who each feel distinct and interesting. The romance itself works well and the book delivers a satisfying happily-ever-after for the central couple, while still clearly setting up the larger series. By the end, it’s impossible not to be curious about the remaining six brothers who are still missing their mates. Overall, this was a very enjoyable read and a strong series opener that definitely made me want to continue with the next book.

This new series is about 7 hot as H-E-double-hockey-sticks brothers. Their father presented them with a sin to master—“A person’s greatest strength becomes a weakness if not tempered”. Elijah was Wrath—vengeance/the bringer of justice. Kinley was determined to have Eli’s help. Despite hisself, he couldn’t turn her away. Things just get wilder and wilder from there. This book is really entertaining. While the main storyline doesn’t stray far from the main characters often, the author weaves enough information on Eli’s six brothers, they become familiar and welcome. Good stuff. Looking forward to book 2 already.

N.J. Walters writes fantastic shifter romances. And she has another great one with “Elijah,” the first in a new series, “The Seven Deadly Sins.” Eli is a wolf shifter and bounty hunter and he and his brothers live apart from other shifters. But when Kinley comes to him for help, Eli finds himself drawn to the beautiful shifter. The action is pretty much non-stop, and the chemistry between Eli and Kinley is on fire. Walters takes a bit of time out of the story to introduce the other brothers, all of whom we assume (and hope) will get their own story. She gives enough backstory on the brothers to satisfy readers, but not enough that the story is bogged down by it. The focus is on Eli and Kinley, their fight to survive her old pack and the love neither of them can deny. N.J. Walter’s latest is another spicy, action-packed page turner. Recommended.

What an incredible way to start off a new series. This action packed paranormal romance was a complete roller coaster ride. I loved Elijah and his brothers. Being a werewolf bounty hunter when Kinley came to him with everything he’s been avoiding he should have walked away. But he didn’t. Throughout this book the Sin brothers make enough appearances to build the world for the next six books. Which I cannot wait for. This series was so much more than I anticipated going in. If you like spicy, paranormal romance with addicting characters and a great storyline, don’t miss out on this one, it’s incredible.

Kinley is in some serious trouble that makes her go on the run from her pack. Her father’s death has left her unprotected from a forced mating and she has no choice but to get out. She needs help, so she turns to bounty hunter Elijah not knowing he’s also a werewolf.
Elijah will do whatever it takes to keep Kinley safe. This situation is tricky so he turns to his brothers for help. They are known as the seven deadly sins and are the only ones who can stand up against the threat chasing Kinley.
Very good and exciting story! Action and suspense as well as romance. A great start to a new series. Looking forward to the next books!

Ooh this was fun. I love an old fashioned kick-ass heroine and the concept of seven books for seven brothers. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book is about Eli and Kinley. Eli and his six brothers were raised away from a pack by their mother and father who were mates. Now they are bounty hunters. Kinley doesn’t realize he is a werewolf when she tries to hire him for protection.
Eli gets involved in the pack politics that Kinley is running away from and he brings his brothers into the fight.
I really liked the characters and look forward to the mates each brother will get.
This was an exciting series opener and it's jam-packed with action. Elijah and his brothers are shifters that have been raised away from everyone to help them learn that they have to master one of the deadly Sins. Eli's is Wrath. Kinley needs help and approaches Eli...and he finds himself unable to refuse her. Ha! Expect to be well entertained when you dive into this fun read that has plenty of action, danger, drama and hot spice to keep you glued to your reader. The author created an interesting world to go with the fab plot and I love that we get to meet all of Elijah's brothers. I'm definitely stoked to read the next book. Good fun!
This was a great start to a new series. The Seven Deadly Sins are 7 brothers who live alone in the mountains yet take on jobs as protectors, mercenaries and bounty hunters. Kinley tries to hire Eli to protect her but they don't work with wolves. Eli does end up taking her to his home and together with his brothers protect her from her old pack. Along the way they fall for each other. it is a nice paranormal romance along with some danger and fighting. I recommend this book to all paranormal romance readers.

I was hooked from the first page of this highly entertaining read with lots of action, sexy moments and family banter.
The storyline was an exciting page-turning read with lots going on and although it was a journey into the forever love of Elijah and Kinley which was amazing, it introduced you to all the brothers, each with their own personalities which leaves you wanting more of all of them.

ELIJAH Sin is just blowing off some steam when a woman comes to him asking for help. He realizes it’s a she wolf and tells her no way but she won’t let him off so easily
“And you think because you’re the famed seven deadly Sin brothers you’re invincible,”
Kinley Wright needs protection from her pack. A corrupt alpha and his underlings are after her.
Come what may, the Sin brothers protect what’s theirs, no matter the cost.
Let me tell you these brothers are all male and alpha to the core. This new series has started with a huge bang and I can’t wait for more. Talk about swoon worthy!!!
This is my first time reading this author. And OMG, I was not disappointed! This book had action and danger like no other. Kinley and Eli were absolutely amazing. And those brothers, hello! The description in this was absolutely amazing. It was so well done. If I didn’t need my eyes open to read, this could’ve played out as a movie in my head. This is one of the best bills I’ve read in awhile. Definitely my top five for 2026.
The first of a new series always gives me goosebumps - will it be good? will it be entertaining? Will i want to invest time in learning a new world? The answer is resoundingly YES for this. Elijah and Kinley fight against assumptions and create their own sense of justice. But not everything goes as planned and changes of direction are needed. Highly entertaining and I can't wait to see book 2 come out.
Eli and Kinley’s story has them coming together when her father dies and her pack is forces her to mate. She runs and tries to hire Eli since he is a bounty hunter and also a werewolf like he. These two get help from his bros and together they will help. But mush happens in this page turning action packed story. I can’t wait for the other bros stories.
