The Chosen gave me the answers i was looking for,and those i didn’t even know i needed.
Ariana became strong enough to demand she’d be allowed to play her part in finding Sarah.
Because the last thing Victor told her,was that she was still alive…..
So,she needed to convince Henry she was the only logical choice,to be the one to take that risk.
Henry had his doubts,wanted to keep her safe,but also understood her reasons.
But there was something else going on….something he couldn’t see.
Victor had been involved in really bad things,that was true.
And Victor had planned to deliver his own wife Ariana to someone else.
But to who…..and why??
That’s why Ariana insisted she’d be the one to be the bait.
Only the plans they’d made to ensure she could be followed,and rescued,failed….
Did that mean Henry and Blake would never be able to find her,and hopefully Sarah,in time?
The twist that was needed to locate Ariana and Sarah was a big one,but also one i saw coming.
It changed the kind of evil they needed to deal with,and it changed the things Ariana needed to survive.
But she’d found Sarah,and she knew Henry would never give up.
In the end,having every answer and then some,i can safely say i enjoyed Ariana and Henry’s story.
They were lovable characters that grew throughout the story.
That fought for what was right,against the evil people of this world.
That found love against all odds,and embraced every good moment.
I only have one question left…..where is Blake going??

Wtf did I just read.
I didnt expect much because book 1 and book 2 were already a shitshow. But wow, how things went even worse. 🤡
So, from the previous books we know that Ariana (fmc) was married to Victor. Victor was having an affair with Sarah. Sarah is the daughter of Henry (mmc) and Amber. They were teenparents. Ariana and Henry are the love interests of this trilogy.
As if this setting isn’t already ridiculous enough,
Then there is the biggest plothole. If Ariana was chosen, when did this happen? Because Victor is the middleman. But he was married to her for 10 years. Did he plan to ever deliver her? I dont remember if this was ever covered in the previous books. Because it makes this whole book even more ridiculous.
If you’re going to write an MMC who owns a security company, at least make it believable and have him do something with it. Because it was very nonexistent throughout the whole series. And no, saying that there is a woman working for him that is trained to be bait doesn’t cut it, nor does Blake restoring old footage.

The Chosen is the perfect epic ending to Henry and Ariana’s story.
From the very first book, The Hunter Trilogy became an obsession. Every revelation had me questioning everything, every secret pulled me deeper into the story and the constant tension kept me turning the pages long into the night.
And Henry… he’s been living rent-free in my head since book one. Morally gray, fiercely protective, dangerously possessive and willing to burn the world down for Ariana, he’s the definition of a top-tier dark romance book boyfriend.
But it’s the way he loves her with unwavering loyalty, fierce devotion and his whole heart…that made me fall for him even more.
Ariana’s growth throughout the trilogy was just as compelling. She found her strength without ever losing the heart that made Henry love her.
Together, their chemistry is undeniable, the spice is deliciously addictive and their fierce, all-consuming love is what truly anchors this story.
A huge round of applause for T.K. Leigh for crafting a dark romance trilogy that is both brilliantly layered and deeply emotional. The way every clue, every twist and every revelation came together was masterful, proving that the biggest surprises are often hidden in the shadows.
This wasn’t just a romance…it was a gripping journey of love, sacrifice, survival and finding light in the darkest places.
Saying goodbye to Henry and Ariana won’t be easy.
This trilogy completely captured my heart and I’ll be thinking about these characters for a long time.
If you love dark romance filled with suspense, unforgettable characters, incredible spice and a love powerful enough to survive anything, The Hunter Trilogy deserves a place at the top of your TBR.

Henry is trying to find who is behind the disappearing people, and abuse. Can he allow his new love as a pawn? And save her in time? Amazing story ❤️. Absolutely loved this trilogy.

There is a mindset that more eyes on a project will produce different views. Seems sort of simple, right? Maybe so, but when TK Leigh controls those minds and gets to spin and twist them into a whirlwind of adventure, passion, angst, controversy, and in the end, bliss, you know you’re in for an extraordinary adventure. If you’re ready for such action in a story, look no further than the Hunter series and in particular, The Chosen!
Throughout this series Henry has been that alpha guy. Keep your friends close, your enemies closer and trust very few. Old school habits die hard sometimes. Handsome, strong, protective, observant, obsessed, calculating, and a man on a mission. A friend circle that is normally VERY small and trusted for life. But even he was not ready for what surprises the world around him held.
Ariana is that person everyone wants to know. Skillful and observant, beautiful and poised, the pride and envy of many. But beneath the facade she presents lies secrets and pains few know of. Protected under that proverbial lock and key, those secrets being recognized can be life altering. But the journey she is about to be on will make her realize there is so much more to who she is. Those discoveries lay deep within her soul, and as they surface others will discover the hard way.

I don't even know where to begin because The Chosen completely wrecked me in the best way possible. T.K. Leigh has a way of writing characters that feel so real that by the end, they don't feel fictional anymore. You find yourself rooting for them, hurting with them, and holding your breath through every twist and turn.
This book had me hooked from beginning to end. The suspense kept me flipping pages late into the night because I had to know how everything was going to play out. And every time I thought I had it figured out, Ms. Leigh proved me wrong. The pacing was perfect, balancing the intense, heart-pounding moments with quieter, emotional ones that reminded me why I loved this series so much.
Henry has been one of my favorite characters throughout the series because he's so beautifully flawed. He's fiercely protective and would do absolutely anything for the people he loves. What I loved most about his journey though was watching him learn that vulnerability isn't weakness. Seeing him struggle between the man his past shaped him into and the man he wants to become made me love him even more. And Ariana... I absolutely loved her! She's stronger than she realizes and has survived more than anyone should ever have to. I appreciated that she was never written as someone who needed saving. She's Henry's equal in every single way that matters and together they make each other stronger without losing themselves along the way.
Their relationship isn't perfect or easy, which is exactly what makes it so believable. The chemistry is undeniable, but it was their emotional connection that completely won me over.
The Chosen was everything I hoped it would be-emotional, suspenseful, romantic, and impossible to put down. Henry and Ariana got the ending they deserved, and while saying goodbye to them is bittersweet, I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion to their story. I highly recommend reading this entire series. It's one I won't be forgetting anytime soon.

That cliffy! Coming in from The Pawn. And from Sarah’s PoV at that 😳 the literal roller coaster of emotions I’m having with this trilogy gahhhh and then Blake. I swear on all things I hold dear if he’s been the bad guy this whole time ohhhh I’m gonna throw hands….he can’t be right. RIGHT 🥺😕

Gurl! What a freaking ride that was. If I had to read this trilogy while waiting for this third one I might have gone bonkers!! Seriously feel so bad for those that came before me. I was about to lose my dangum mind!! I cannot say anything else bc that would absolutely give this story away and I want everyone else to white knuckle their own book to the end of this story. Now I have to go get Gideon’s trilogy and read that one while I wait for Venom & Vows!!!

“The Chosen” is book three in Hunter Trilogy written by T.K. Leigh. It all came down to what was on these pages. Twists, turns, ups, downs. Gritty, dark, broken. Beneath all the layers two very damaged people found one another, in a strange way, yes, but they found each other. The walls came crumbling down allowing trust and love to flourish. But the danger wasn’t over yet. Ariana was still deemed ‘chosen’ and Henry still hadn’t figured out what happened to his daughter. I really appreciated that Henry and Ariana were such well developed characters. I liked how they slowly transformed from who they were separately before they met and who they were becoming together. They lifted each other up, they saved each other in more ways than one. Their chemistry sizzled throughout the story. Definitely open door, the passion between Henry and Ariana was erotically charged, super steamy, rough at times, even softer at other times. I definitely liked that everything was resolved by the end of this read. The pacing from the first page of the first book to the last page in this one flowed perfectly from scene to scene, chapter to chapter, book to book. I jumped in and stayed the course. The story held my interest throughout. The author brought the story and characters to life, it was so well developed and excellently written. I’m not much for trilogies, I barely make it past the first book. But this trilogy was so good and entertaining that I was hooked, eager to follow along as Henry and Ariana fought their personal demons and the evil closing in on them together. This trilogy should be read in order to get the full scope of the word Henry and Ariana inhabited. Definitely recommended.

What an epic conclusion to T.K. Leigh’s Hunter Trilogy!
If you thought the first two books were good, then honestly, nothing can prepare you for this finale. The Chosen had me completely hooked from the very first page. It’s compulsive, fast-paced, hot, dark, dangerous, and packed with twists that kept me saying, just one more chapter.
Finally getting Henry and Ariana’s ending was everything I’d been hoping for. They have been through so much together, and watching them fight for each other one last time had me completely invested. Their chemistry has always been off the charts, but it’s the strength of their love and everything they overcome that really stole my heart.
T.K. Leigh has tied this trilogy together perfectly. Every secret, every twist, and every shocking revelation builds to a finale that I genuinely didn’t want to put down. Just when I thought I’d worked everything out, another surprise was waiting for me.
This trilogy has been an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end, blending romance, suspense, danger, and heart-pounding action with a love story that never gives up. If you love your romance with plenty of suspense, morally grey characters, protective heroes, sizzling chemistry, and a couple you’ll be rooting for until the very last page, then this trilogy needs to be on your TBR.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Picking up where The Pawn left off, I will say you will need to read the two previous books in order to follow the story fully. Ariana is asking Victor her husband to not hurt anyone else well she asked but also ensured he couldn’t , while Henry and Blake continue to investigate the human trafficking ring, the betrayal hits deeper, and the things they learn, they see in searching for the missing but the loss of hit closer then most think. Love was never written for them or so Henry thought and he never wanted or thought he would fall in love with a woman he kidnapped especially one who helped her husband commit the crime, but he learned she was just as much a victim like so many before her. Their relationship slowly changes, the magnetic pull couldn’t be ignored, and she begin helping him in stopping her husband from hurting others but that again lead to a road that no one expected, but it begs the question where are they headed and is this really the end (hopefully not) , who is her husband really, why is he the way he is, who made Victor Kane the man that he was , and will the two of them get happiness somewhere along the way of saving others?

The Chosen is the conclusion to the Hunter Trilogy. I have to say that this is a conclusion that is so very good you will not be laying it down. I had to know what was going to happen next. If you have been waiting for the conclusion to Henry and Ariana's story, then you are going to be so excited to have it in your hands. These two, as we know, have been through so very much together. Now they are about to fight for each other again. I have struggling to write this review because I don't want to say anything that will give something away. This is one of those books that you are better off going into blind. I will say that this book is so satisfying. If you have questions, they get answered. These two have had some explosive chemistry throughout the first two books, and it continues in this one too. It is a thing of beauty to behold. There is a lot of suspense in this book that will keep you on your toes. That's about all I can say. I read this book in one sitting. It is that good. While I could have read many more books about Henry and Ariana, I have to say that the conclusion we get is everything we have been waiting on. Now run get it and find your reading spot. You won't be getting up for a while.

I absolutely loved this third book in Ariana and Henry's journey! Watching their relationship continue to grow has been one of my favorite parts of this series. Their chemistry feels so natural, and the trust and dedication they have for each other is something they've truly earned after everything they've been through separately and together.
Ariana continues to prove she's an absolute warrior Henry thinks she is. She's strong, determined, and never gives up, even when the odds are stacked against them, she wants to make sure Henry gets the closure he needs. Henry always believed in her strength since the beginning of their very bumpy journey. I love how he stands by her even when he doesn’t like the plans being made, he lets her make decision and take back some of herself. Of course, nothing ever goes according to plan, and that's what makes this book so hard to put down.
The twists and turns kept me guessing, and just when I thought I knew where the story was headed, the T.K. surprised me again. There was a great balance of action, emotion, suspense, and romance, making this another fantastic addition to the series.
If you've fallen in love with Adriana and Henry in the first two books, you definitely won't want to miss this one. Their journey is filled with heart, resilience, and plenty of surprises.

Warning: this is the 3rd book in a trilogy that must be read in order.
I did have to skim through both the 1st and 2nd books to refresh myself on specific details, but once I was done that, this book just grabbed me and kept me reading. Henry and Ariana’s story is very successfully concluded in “The Chosen,” and I was sad to see it end.
Henry may not have been a choirboy, but he was perfect for Ariana and their love was powerful. His methods of protecting her knew no bounds, and when he needed her, she reciprocated in spades. They were a couple built on mistrust, fostered in caring, love and respect, and joined by their deep, abiding wish to stay together.
No spoilers here, but when they see only one way to stop the madness and her husband’s nefarious endeavors, a plan is put in place and activated that could cost both of them their lives. As this story is unfolding, we learn much more about the mysterious Blake as well as Sarah, Henry’s daughter. These side characters enrich this story, and we’re also given a sneak peek into what will become Blake’s book.
T.K. Leigh has become an author whose books I greatly enjoy and look forward to with anticipation. She’s a not to-be-missed storyteller!.

What a stunning conclusion to Henry and Ariana's story! At the end of book 2, I thought I had it all figured out, and going into book 3, I really thought I was on the right track, but nope, I was way off base as to who I was convinced was behind everything that's been happening in this series.
This is a fast-paced story that kept me glued to the pages. Not only were we heading towards a stunning finale, but we were front and center for the deepening of the relationship between Henry and Ariana. These two were tailor made for each other. Both had endured a lot in their lives, they both had huge trust issues, and both thought they would never experience true love. But gradually over the course of this book, they fell deeply for each other and learned to trust each other implicitly.
This was a deeply emotional story, for many of the characters and in many different ways. T.K. balanced it all out seamlessly, the emotional and human aspect of the characters as well as the mystery and danger that's been occurring all along. I ate this story up! And I'm so happy to see that the one character I thought was behind it all, wasn't, and that they're getting their own story next! I can't wait

This starts as a real "enemies to lovers" relationship in that he's trying to kidnap her, but someone else gets to her first! Henry ends up rescuing her in the first book and their relationship grows and heats up.
Henry has a hard shell because he had an awful abusive father. Ariana had a horrific abusive husband. Henry falls first and HARD, but Ariana isn't far behind him. In searching for Henry's birth daughter, they uncover a number of other "missing" young women and it's an adventure to resolve that. They ground their relationship in their physical relationship with each other. Ariana learns to defend herself and Henry calls her a warrior for what she's survived. In turn, Ariana uncovers the golden retriever under Henry's cold surface. Come on Henry has a rescue dog - he has to be a good guy!
They have a great family and found family around them. I'm looking forward to reading more about Blake!.

that some deranged, sick mind

Betrayed, angry, hateful?
I could tell you my thoughts
but there was none
and that's because the twists
and turns on the plot
couldn't let me stop reading and think!
What I felt though was intense.
The despair while searching for a person you love and loosing another one in the process.
The grief turning to guilt.
The pain of the betrayal.
The weight of blaming yourself for so many loses. What if you could prevent them?
The guilt eating you from the inside.
The hope for the future.
And the fear. The feeling of dread
settled over the mind
and blocked every thought and muscle.
You lost everything!
But the way Arianna and Henry
kept returning to and for each other,
like they couldn't Not being around each other, was crazy.
Like being in love was their only option.
When you find HOME
you are finally at peace.
You feel that you belong,
that you are not alone,
there are no ghosts or traumas,

I have been a big fan of T.K. Leigh since A Beautiful Mess. I didn't think I could become more obsessed, but then I started the Hunter Trilogy. It is an absolute mind-blowing trilogy. The Chosen is the third book, but to get the full experience I went back and read the first two books before devouring The Chosen. No more cliffhangers. No more waiting to see how things would be resolved. If they would be resolved.
Henry is still searching for his daughter. He refuses to believe she is lost forever. His only hope, a Trojan horse. Ariana is willing to sacrifice herself to help Henry, to save Sarah. She will lead him to Sarah even if it costs her everything.
The Twists keep coming. The shocks are explosive. The unexpected will leave you speechless. With every chapter comes more surprises, more dangers and more of the unknown. Thrills, chills and shocking moments had me refusing to put the book down. I wanted to know. I needed to know. The end was worth everything.

Killing Victor Kane means a more traumatic experience for Ariana than the trauma of living as his puppet for ten years. But Henry is there, knowing what she is going through. Their relationship is evolving even further, but it takes time for them to acknowledge the love for each other, even more difficult than finding trust. But their problems are not over, the search for Sarah starts in earnest. And what they find is too horrible to know that situations like that are real. Cults like The Chosen are out there.
This story kept me at the edge of my seat and was hard to put down. Knowing what they, including Blake, went through, it’s reassuring that a person can still keep their humanity and basic feeling of right and wrong. Exhilarating story, charismatic characters, romance, steam, violence, it has it all. Really, really loved it and find it highly recommendable.

was fortunate enough to have read the former two books in the lead up to Chosen and I was glad to be able to binge read the set. I read various genres and authors but after the incredible plot twists, nuances and well developed characters in two earlier books and Chosen, T K Leigh is an instant click. A phenomenal piece of well written work that drew you into another world described in the book. Highly recommended especially for those in high stress work needing to “switch” off in a way that prevents worry intruding. Ariana was a strong character with resilience despite the “cage” built around her and evaluated all potential options, not simply accepting those offered by Henry. Constantly looking for the purpose behind offers of assistance and potential ramifications. Excellent research work by the author made chapters authentic.

A Heart-Stopping, Bomb-Dropping Roller Coaster!
Wow. Just… wow. The Chosen by T.K. Leigh is an absolute heartstopper of a story that completely wrecked my emotional state in the best possible way.
From the very first chapter, this book felt like a non-stop roller coaster. Just when I thought I knew where the plot was going, the author skipped right along and dropped another massive twist. T.K. Leigh was literally dropping bombs like confetti all throughout the book, and my jaw spent most of its time on the floor.
The pacing is relentless, the emotions run incredibly high, and the stakes feel completely real. If you love romantic suspense that keeps you guessing, makes your heart race, and refuses to let you go until the very last page, you need to pick this up immediately. Just make sure you clear your schedule, because you won't be able to put it down!

I have been holding my breath since the last book ended with the shocker to end them all. I had to know what was in store for Henry and Ariana next and T.K. Leigh jumped right in.
I loved seeing the progression of Ariana and Henry's relationship. How they used the trust and love they had built to finally get all the answers they had been looking for. And what a ride it took them on.
I will say that the turn things took was unexpected and wild and while not exactly my favorite I still found myself having to know how everything would shake out. From start to finish The Hunter Trilogy was intense and sexy and dangerous while being rooted with good intentions and love. And after all Ariana and Henry had been through and endured and survived, it made their happy ending all the sweeter.

Ariana gets to exact her revenge, and while doing so finds out that Sarah, Henry's daughter is alive. How they find Sarah, and get her away is going to be a challenge. Someone is needed on the inside.
The story that then unfolds is gripping and full of twists keeping you on the edge of your seat. This is one of those reviews where you can't really say anything without giving the plot away. Excellent series!

The story that then unfolds is gripping and full of twists keeping you on the edge of your seat. This is one of those reviews where you can't really say anything without giving the plot away. Excellent series!

The conclusion to Henry and Ariana’s story. This one takes you on a whole bunch of twists and turns right up until the very end!
This one picks up right where book 2 ends, so you definitely need to read books 1 and 2 before jumping into this one or else you will have no idea what is happening and how things got to the point they are at. You’ll be hooked from the beginning and dying to finally get all the answers. Which you will, some just take a little time to get but they are absolutely worth the wait.
The Chosen and the entire trilogy will have you hooked and on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Henry and Ariana are complicated but have so much love and passion for each other.

Fantastic Ending to Henry & Ariana’s Story!
This third book is everything you’d expect from a T.k. Leigh Trilogy. It sucks you in to where you THINK, since you read the first two books, that you know where the story’s going, but alas; you’re horribly, wonderfully wrong! I mean for one, how do you try and solve a mystery when you’re questioning the person you’ve always relied on & trusted? And where Ariana ends up? Yikes. This story twisted in a direction I did not see coming.
The book takes off at Chapter 34 so don’t plan on doing anything else but finishing the story at this point! “The Chosen” has everything you need for a very fulfilling & satisfying ending.

This book picks right up from where the last book ended. We get some answers as to what happened with Blake…and then we have more questions as the mystery of who is behind everything.
The action and suspense are strong features in this book, but the connection between Ariana and Henry is still powerful. The hope of finding Sarah is ever present with each new clue they uncover.
There were definitely some twists I somewhat expected, yet didn’t fully see coming, especially with how they played out. That’s how well this book was written.
Blake had always piqued my curiosity and now I’m all in on wanting to know more!!!

I loved this entirely new version of Ariana, she demonstrates her strength, takes back her life and proves her warrior status. With Victor out of the picture there are still unanswered questions: Is Ariana Safe, is Sarah alive, who is behind the missing girls, who can be trusted, leaving the final question, what does it mean to be CHOSEN? Just when you think Hunter can't handle anymore, the blows keep coming. All I have left to say is it was worth every nail-biting moment.
