Kai’s plan to avoid his unusual nymph bride is paused when he escorts her overseas. Given his strong moral convictions, he expects he’ll have no trouble keeping Soleil at arm’s length until they can return to the Snow Fae Lands where he will resume ignoring her properly.

But perhaps, with the support of Soleil’s sisters and the helping paw of a magical pet, Kai and Soleil’s marriage can be saved after all.

The Doll House Brides is a fantasy world of low-stakes, spice-free romance featuring arranged marriage and sisterhood. Soleil's story is the first release but each novella can be read as a standalone.

ARC Reader Review of “The Dollhouse Brides” (Soleil)

Within the pages of “The Dollhouse Brides” (Soleil’s story) the author has spun a delightfully sweet and angsty romance. Not only is this short story a fun, enjoyable read but it’s beautifully visually descriptive. It was a refreshing break to read a light, fantastical, cozy romance amongst the darker fantasy novels. As usual this author brings her skillful, eloquent, character-driven prose. When it ended I cried out “Nooooo!” How could this sweet, heart melting story already be over? I need more of Soleils’ romantic story. I also need the other sisters’ stories and look forward to those novellas. Five stars for this swoony little snack. ⭐️ 💖💞🫠

This story is a delightful blend of cozy romance and fantasy that felt like a warm hug with every page. The chemistry between Kai, the male main character, and Soleil was beautifully crafted, and I found myself cheering for their love as a married couple. The world-building was exceptional, the characters stood out, and the plot held my attention throughout. I adored the fantasy elements woven throughout the novella—just the right amount of magic and whimsy. It’s a story that lingers in my mind! And then there’s Vynn… I won't spoil anything, but trust me, you won’t want to miss this tale!

A short and sweet Romantasy, we are introduced to the sisters of the dollhouse and we get Soliel’s story with Kai. It ends with a small cliffhanger and it’s set up so that each sister can have her own story I think. I liked the world building, the time traveling, magic - nymphs, fae, and the potential for dragons. I like how humans disappeared, I honestly think she set it up for a book about Cherub and his adventures too. Well done and light hearted romance with fantasy elements. No spice, well done. I received an ARC for this book and enjoyed it.

What a cozy love story! I was fortuante enough to receive an Adanced Reader Copy of the first Doll House Brides book, and let me tell you I devoured this. The story is a perfect, sweet novella to read on a cold winter day. I love how Soleil and Kai grew together in such a satisfiying way despite the politics and the unintentional way they initially came together. I will certainly be staying tuned to see how each sister's love story unfolds.

After I read the first two pages I was hooked. S.M. Webb never disappoints. Long after I read the Advanced Readers Copy, I find myself thinking of the characters and wondering what they are up too. This is because I can’t wait for the rest of the brides’ stories. It is such a cozy gentle read that leaves one with positive feelings. I loved this read so much, I read it in two days. I appreciated this world built of fairies, wizards and other magical creatures. An enjoyable experience!

I absolutely loved this swoony fantasy novella. Kai and Soleil are so good together and I loved all of the fantasy elements in this novella. Kai and Soleil's romance did not disappoint and it was so well written. The character growth for both Kai and Soleil in this novella was amazing and I truly enjoyed reading about The Doll House.
