RV Mage #1

RV Mage: A Slice of Life Fantasy Adventure

Rate this book
After working outdoors for years, I had built the kind of strength that many only dream about. Intent on building a new life for myself, I set my sights on the road so that I could explore the wilderness all over the country. But to explore, a man needs the right kind of vehicle.

And then I found it - an old RV sitting in a dusty old lot, with a price tag so cheap that it was an absolute steal. Buying it seemed like a no-brainer, but before I could pull out of the lot, the RV had other plans about where it was going, and sent me to a whole other world.

Now I'm on the Trail in the magical state of Arlana, a 700-mile circuit of forests, rivers, beaches and hilly ranges. The strange paradise I've found myself in is scattered with towns, communities and camping grounds - the perfect place to start exploring.

Luckily my enchanted RV has seen fit to grant me the aptly-named RV Mage class. Surprisingly, it's a lot more useful than it sounds, and it's exactly what I need to survive the dangerous wilds lurking off the Trail.

Fortunately I've got some help from a few welcoming locals, in particular Cassie, a beautiful blonde magical surveyor, and her friend Anya, a gorgeous fae woman with a knack for hunting treasure.

Boring

Technically well written. Characters are likable. The slice of life plot line was a real struggle to stay engaged. Sometimes these harem books have a plot that is only used as a way to get girls into the harem and spicy time. To me, that is boring. I tend to skip most of the spicy time in these books because they are written so ridiculously unreal. That means I need a good plot line to keep me interested and not laugh at how the women throw themselves at the MC.

Unique

Well this was a slice of different. Nice easy pace and a fun story line. Unique magic. I look forward to finding out more about it. I was disappointed in the martial side. For a guy that has participated in a lot of testosterone laden professions he should know how to fight. Epilogue was good.

A good start

Its a good start to a slice of life story. A bit of spice, but not an exuberant amount, and a plot that leans on talking it's time to resolve. Looking forward to the next books release.

excellent

Another other worldly adventure, with a buyer of a used RV driving into new adventures. Beautiful women and a backstory of Recreational Vehicles fixing nature that has stopped.
Please bring on the next book.

nice story of taking the road less traveled, even if it wasn't exactly your choice

Light reading

A simple story in which nothing much happens. The relationships develope pretty quickly and there are no real life complications.

Very interesting and entertaining.

I’m an avid camper and this was a fun reading experience for me. I could only wish things were that easy with camping! Ha! Can’t wait for book 2

A fun beginning!

I have to admit this may be the craziest magic class I've ever heard of but it works! A really unique world with interesting as well as familiar characters.
