Review of advance copy
January 19, 2026
I really enjoyed this book and will read more if this becomes one of a series. I got an audio copy on Borrow box, the library app. It is the story of a stressed lawyer applying his mindfulness training in his day to day life and his work. As a criminal lawyer working with a thug running a gang he uses the recommended mindful techniques for managers in a darkly humours way. It was mindfulness in extreme and sometimes violent situations, which brought to mind the film In Bruges. It was unpredictable all the way to the end.
