Book one ended on a cliffhanger and now to pick up right where book one ended. I wanted to know how Cordelia and Killian‘s story progressed and the start of Sarah and Lucian’s story. I really love how all of the characters evolve over the course of this book. I can’t wait to see what book 3 has in store for us!!

Killian's intention when he left Cordelia and his new pack is to formally cut ties with his father what he finds instead is prison.
A messenger sent to the Golden Mane leaves no doubt that Cordelia and her sister Sophie must travel to Blackcrown territory to retrieve her mate and Alpha. They journey with two of their guards and when they are found by sentries they are surprised by their reception.
Killian's father, Richard Blackcrown has pulled out all the stops, a huge feast is before them but still no sign of Killian. What unfolds is very interesting as Richard's intent to have Killian fight to the death is thwarted by Killian himself.
An interesting development is Killian's brother, Lucian and Cordelia's sister Sarah. Although they haven't quite realized what's happening yet.
Richard doesn't like to lose, so there's got to be something else he has in mind. It just a matter of when.
Both Lucian and his father attend Killian and Cordelia's wedding followed the next day by the Alpha ceremony. Lucian does find out his father's plan, and it's something Lucian wants no part of.
He's getting closer to Sarah and wants to be Alpha with her by his side. This is confirmed even more during a tour of the pack territory with her.
Lucian also finds something to stop his father's plans for Killian and his pack. Although it causes so much more to occur.
There's plenty of intrigue, suspense and sizzle as this story unfolds.

Killian's mate Cordelia would love to birth his baby after all the drama ends but she knows he has demons to fight and it may not happen before a child.
Ultimately she will protect those she loves no matter what including her sister.
In the quest for power.. Who will succeed and who will fail?.
I loved the attitude and pure sass of the females especially Sarah who I thought was the perfect addition.
The characters were all well written and I couldn't help but laugh out loud at some points.
I completely enjoyed everything about this story with betrayal, development, ritual and love all thrown into the mix.
Nothing could have improved this as it was faultless in my opinion with individual personality shining through.
I look forward to the journey involving Lucian as his character had the biggest change of heart within this book.
A truly flawless story with its inspired plot and touching romance.

Book Two in this series comes in strong and powerful. There are many conflicting emotions that occur with Killian and his brother Lucian. They both need to make earth shattering decisions that will impact both the Blackcrown and Golden packs. Killian is still trying to come to terms with his calling to become Alpha. He finds his strength in Cordelia who is his Mate. Killian and Cordelia have a bond that can never be broken.
Lucian has been his father's whipping boy since forever. His bloodlust to become Alpha of the Blackcrown pack is potent and it is has blinded him to have any relationship with his brother. But when he meets Sarah, Cordelia's sister, he finds himself rethinking everything he has ever known. He immediately believes that Sarah is his Mate. This story has emotional twists and turns as Lucian struggles with the realization that being under his father's wrath and torment is not for him anymore. Alpha Redeemed the next book in this series should prove to be quite compelling and I am intrigued to see what happens next.

What a wonderful story about finding yourself and finding out what you are meant to become and how you control your fate. In finding himself Killian went lightly on his fathers atonement for his ill treatment of his family and pack, but learned what a family was meant to be about. Lucian had also tried to be the man his brutal father wanted and failed. After being with the Golden pack he learns he can be a better man than his father by following Killian's example on what a real man can be for himself and his pack.

The second book in the Rise of the Alpha series we get to see more of Killian Blackcrown and Cordelia Golden his mate. But this is the start of Lucian Blackcrown and Sarah Golden's story we watch as Lucian becomes the man he was meant to be. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, a very nasty man, and the beginning of a romance. The story was well worth reading. This was a great addition to the Rise of the Alpha series. Killian goes back to his father’s Pack to be released from his right to be the next alpha of the pack since he found his mate and would be the alpha to the Golden Pack. His father imprisons him and plans to make him fight in the kill pit with his wife watching. A fantastic storyline with a few twists and surprises along the way. The characters are developing more and changes are taking place. Love this series and can’t wait for more.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Alpha Risen by Julie Morgan. This is the second book in the Rise of the Alpha series. I did not read book one and this is my first Julie Morgan read. I wish I had read the first book as I felt a little lost until about half way through the book. There is a lot of drama and angst in this read, as well as some humor and spicy heat. A tale of absolute power corrupting absolutely. There is some resolution, but this read does set up for the next book. Mature Readers Only.

Killian and Lucian have been treated badly by their father and in this story, they take charge of their own lives. Killian and Cordelia are bonded mates and come into their own future. Lucian connects with her sister Sarah. The characters are strong and determined. The storyline has major decisions being made, imprisonment, drama, romance and fighting for what is right. Loved the action and intense feelings that send them the right directions. Great ending and can not wait for the next book.

This is Lucien & Sarah’s story and what a story!! Starts off where book 1 left off with Killian back in his pack lands trying to settle things with his father and brother. Cordelia & Sarah head there to retrieve Killian and Lucien feels the mating pull. Can he put his “penis envy” (as Sarah calls it) aside long enough to do what’s right for him or will he continue down the path set out by his father… Guaranteed to have to flipping pages until you are finished!!

Hold on to your britches everyone this book is absolutely going to make you want to snap out, smack your kindle against a wall or something worse but just wait until you get to the end it. This book was absolutely fantastic and I was absolutely enthralled from it since book 1 but book2 is even wonderful. We find out several things in this book and no I'm not going to post spoilers because this book once you have to decide how you but I'm ready for alpha redeemed now.

This is book two of Rise of the Alpha Series love story for Killian Blackcrown and Cordelia Golden. This book starts off with loss then finding her mate again and Killian brother gets his gift too. They have to stop their father and they both become better Wolfs and I loved how both brothers find their Mates and find happily ever afters. I can not wait to read the next book.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. Killian did not know what he wanted the cruel upbringing from his father, the emotions he was going through, until he came across his mate Cordelia his forever lifelong mate will he end up being Alpha to a pack. Cordelia will make sure her family and pack are safe no matter what.

Thrilling
What a wonderful way to conclude Killian and Cordelias beginning.
Now that Killian is Alpha of Golden pack and officially Married to Cordelia life is falling into place as it should.
There is an uphill battle that Lucian has to overcome. Feelings are changing and his heart is softening. It's all because of the feisty Sarah, he's wanting to be a better man, brother, and eventually leader.
I can't wait for the rest of his and Sarah's story!

I just couldn’t put this story down and I was just captivated by everything that was taking place. The author truly outdid herself with this story. This story just had my emotions all over the place and I am so sad to see this book end. I just can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

We had the joy of meeting Killian and Coredilla in book 1 Alpha Rising. Follow them as they take on the dark lead of Killian's original clan. You will see the struggles they each have and the love they portray for each other even when not face to face. This pair is fun and sassy and works hard to make the clans a better place!

What a good book live the story line
If you are a fan of paranormal romance, love shape shifters then this sequel is right up your alley. Love the characters great story line and I read it all the way through couldn't put it down. Well done Julie Morgan and thank you for another great read.

Wow just wow.. From start to finish it had me turning the pages to see what would happen next with killian and corniela.. And start to tell Lucian and Sarah's story.... Can't wait to read the next book in this series for sure

When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I cannot wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

This journey is filled with witty and engaging charters, heart racing twists and exciting turns. Great reading! Really enjoyed this action packed, highly entertaining and emotionally thrilling adventure.

This is book two in the trilogy Rise of the Alpha. This book is a continuation of book one about Killian and Cordellia. They are together and he is about to rise up to power, but he is still fighting old demons. WOW, what an ending! This book leaves you needing and wanting book three now!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The storyline had me hooked from the first page to the last. The chemistry was tops and the the way how they came together was warming.
