I’ve been hooked on the writings of C.K Smith, this Aberdeen manor series and The podcast killer series..

I was invested in the welfare of the main characters..
of course I highly recommend the writing of Smith, I say to all at least try and read at least one and I promise you’ll love it.

Aberdeen manor is back in action, it has never left the minds of Maeve and Ethan.
Justin is out and with the help with his partner are copying the actions of their father.
Revenge is wanted and it’s up to Maeve And Ethan to once again go into action and return to Aberdeen manor.

Can they both survive? Can they help with the people who are there? Does the bloodline tie things together.

The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is that there was a couple of things that annoyed me which was on a few occasions words and actions were repeated..
example being Celeste putting her hair behind her ear when obviously flirting, but why was it mentioned 3 times just mention it once?
That happened another time with another character and I thought it didn’t need repeating.
My views as always.

The Return to Aberdeen Manor by C.K. Smith builds meaningfully on the world introduced in the first installment, though it struggles with many of the same issues. The pacing felt very slow, and I often found the narrative weighed down by repetition and excessive length. Much of the book seemed to meander, and I didn’t feel like the true story really began until the final 50 pages. That said, those last few chapters completely changed my impression; they were emotional, gripping, and tied everything together beautifully. The ending alone elevated my rating from three to four stars. If the book had been trimmed down to around 200 pages, it could have maintained momentum and delivered a more consistent reading experience overall.Despite its flaws, this series still holds promise, and fans of slow-burn, atmospheric storytelling will likely find a lot to appreciate.

This was a fantastic read that from the moment that I started it, I knew that I was in for a special read, one in which I could not put down. This book called to me and when I answered it took hold and would not let go. This book moves along at an amazing pace that is perfect for the flow of the story. It has characters that are interesting and unique and you cannot help but love them. This story will not disappoint. It is a must read that needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.
