Violet Murphy was always meant to be mine. Forever my best friend, my partner, my wife. But nine years ago, in the deepest, darkest trenches of infertility, Violet said I needed to let her go.
We've now been divorced for more years than we were married. I still live in the house we renovated together. I still work the job I had before she left. I'm here in our hometown, still thinking about her every day. How things went wrong. How things could have been different.
She told me she'd never return to Silver Springs. That I needed to move on and build a family with someone else. It was never an option in my mind. It was never going to happen.
Now I'm standing outside her parents' place and she's just... there. Alone. A mirage of flaming red hair and sun-kissed freckles... and a rounded belly carrying a baby we both never thought she'd be able to have. That's not the only bombshell she's brought back to town with her.
Seems the love of my life has a dangerous admirer. It's my job as a Clarence County Sheriff's Deputy to protect and serve my community, but when it comes to Violet, I'd give up anything to keep her—and the baby she's carrying—safe.
Now that Violet's back, I'm determined to show her that the Silver Ridge Ranch is still her home, and my heart will always belong to her.
Tilly H. Colson is a contemporary romance author who enjoys writing stories filled with emotion, heartache, and happily ever afters for men who range from golden retrievers to alpha protectors, and the amazing women they love!!
This was one of those books that reminds you why you believe in love in the first place. Blue Norther completely swept me away and gave me everything I want in a second chance romance and then some.
Colt and Violet have been everything to each other since they were twelve, and that kind of history just hits differently. Watching a love like that endure time, distance, and truly unimaginable circumstances was so powerful. It felt real, raw, and deeply rooted in something unbreakable. Even when life tried to pull them apart, there was always this quiet understanding that what they had was worth fighting for.
What really stayed with me was the way Colt showed up for Violet through everything. Through infertility, through the danger surrounding her, through her own journey of learning to feel secure in herself, he never wavered. That kind of steady, unwavering love is the kind that lingers long after you finish the book.
And Silver Springs… I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this world. The sense of family, the community, the way it wraps around you and makes you feel at home, it’s something really special. This is a place I will come back to again and again.
An easy five stars, and honestly the warmest of hugs after such a long struggle.
This book completely stole my heart! Tilly hit us with the emotions and feels in chapter one!😭 literal tears in CHAPTER ONE!
This was my first Tilly H. Colson book and definitely won’t be my last!
This book was a second chance romance that pulled at my heart something fierce! She covered some heavy topics in here but delivered them beautifully!
Colton has always loved his ex wife but years ago they got divorced.. he didn’t want it but Violet did. They had struggled with infertility and the weight of that was too much for Violet. But years later she shows up and now she’s pregnant. But not only that! She has a stalker and Colton will stop at nothing to protect her. She might be his ex-wife but his love for her never faded.
We got all the “it’s always been you” moments. I was swooning for this man something fierce. The way he fights for Violet and is so understanding 😭
Tropes: 🩵Second Chance 💙Small town 🩵Yearning 💙Romantic Suspense 🩵It’s always been you 💙Divorced couple
Easy 5⭐️ book for me! Can’t wait to read Tilly’s entire backlist!
I’ll be back on release day with my favorite quotes!🤭
*Thank you to Tilly H. Colson and House of Hearts for this gifted ARC in exchange for an honest and authentic review - All opinions are my own.*
Where do I even start- well INSTANTLY it’s a 5 STAR book so we can nail that down real quick.
Tilly is one of my favourite small town romantic suspense authors and she crushed it out of the park with this one. We all knew from the previous books that Colton and Violet’s story could not be over- and I’m so glad Tilly gave them the story they deserved.
For anyone who has ever struggled with infertility, miscarriages, or struggle getting pregnant- this book is going to hit a chord. But I speak from experience when I say Tilly writes it in a way that is genuinely authentic you feel SEEN.
I especially loved the plot pacing. We get history mixed with present but she doesn’t spend too long explaining what went wrong and focuses on the present and moving forward. We also get that suspense element Tilly is so good at and it got intense there for a bit. 😱
I adore this book completely and couldn’t put it down. Thank you for sharing this with us Tilly.
Thank you to Tilly H. Colson and House of Hearts for the gifted copy — all opinions are my own.
Blue Norther is a second-chance romance that completely pulled at my heartstrings. Tilly covers some heavy topics, so I definitely recommend checking the trigger warnings—but they’re handled so thoughtfully and beautifully.
This book truly had everything: love, mystery and a storyline that kept me on the edge of my seat. The twists and turns had me fully invested, and my jaw actually dropped at the final reveal.
Colt and Violet have been in love since they were twelve years old, and that kind of history just hits differently. Colt was the absolute perfect husband—even through all the pain and heartbreak. He was exactly the kind of man Violet needed. Even during their divorce, you could feel how deeply they still loved each other.
Their journey with infertility felt incredibly real and raw, and my heart completely broke for Violet. The internal struggles they both face are equally frustrating and understandable, which made their story feel that much more authentic. Even when life tried to pull them apart, there was always this quiet understanding that what they had was worth fighting for. Watching them find their way back to each other was so beautiful.
I also loved the Ford family and the way they embraced and supported Violet—they were such a strong, loving presence for both of them. I can’t wait to see more of this family in future books. (especially the next one!)
This was my first book by Tilly, and I really enjoyed her writing. The pacing was excellent, and while there were some chapters set in the past, it never felt overwhelming—she kept the focus grounded in the present, which worked really well.
*Chief deputy *Author *Divorced couple *Infertility issues *Second chance *Emotional *Angsty *Stalker *Small town *Suspense *It's always been you
Let me tell you something. I am not ok and ok after reading this story. It was emotional and angsty and I was actually sobbing in many scenes. My heart ached for both of them and the struggles that separated them not because they fell apart but because they tried to protect the other from further pain. Heroine, Violet, is struggling with miscarriages and decided in a moment of pain to divorce hero, Colt, to prevent further pain and she leaves town. Fast forward Violet comes back to town after 9 years while being pregnant like in 8th month. Queue Colt and his shock, understandably so. But this fact doesn't deter him from feeling protective about Violet since she receives some weird messages from an enthusiastic fan that escalates fast. Violet moves back to their old house and honest conversations take place that change things majorly. Not saying anything more as it would spoil things and it's better to get in without knowing. I kind of hated Violet initially and thought of her as selfish. But further in the story I changed my mind and kind of understood her what she was thinking. The weight of miscarriages made her vulnerable and a different person of what she was and she needed to reset instead of bringing more pain. This story is really painful reading how a miscarriage makes you feel and though I never experienced one I can't imagine the weight on someone'd shoulders baring it. And it gives a glimpse of reality exposing the results of a C-section proving how difficult it is and how strong mothers are. Colt on the other hand is the perfect golden retriever loving his wife even separated as "It's always been you". And when he admits his feelings and you feel his pain and devastation...ugh it was so painful and cathartic at the same time. All this while a stalker is on the run trying to get his hands on Violet. I received this arc and this is my honest opinion
First, a huge thank you to Tilly Colson and House of Hearts for allowing me to ARC read this book in exchange for my honest review—I’m so grateful for the opportunity.
This book… it broke me in the best and worst ways. My heart ached for Colt and Violet from beginning to end. Their story is one of those second-chance romances that doesn’t just pull at your heartstrings—it holds them tight and doesn’t let go. It gave me everything I love in this trope: history, pain, longing, and that undeniable connection that never truly fades. The love between Colt and Violet is nothing short of perfection.
The emotions in this book are deep, raw, and beautifully written. You feel every ounce of their struggle, every moment of hope, every setback, and every step forward. It’s the kind of story that makes you pause, take a breath, and just feel alongside the characters.
Colt completely stole my heart. The way he supports Violet, the way he loves her through their infertility journey and beyond—it was absolutely beautiful. His patience, his devotion, and the quiet strength he shows in the hardest moments made him such an unforgettable MMC. He doesn’t just say he loves her—he proves it in every possible way.
And Violet… my heart hurt for her so much. Her journey was so emotional and so real, and I loved how her story was told with such care and depth.
Being back in Silver Springs felt like coming home. The found family vibes in this series are unmatched, and I loved getting to reconnect with this world and its characters. That sense of community, support, and unconditional love added so much warmth to an already emotional story.
I’m so glad I got to return to Silver Springs for this one. It’s a story full of love, heartbreak, healing, and hope—and it’s one that will stay with me for a long time.
I love a good second chance romance; there’s just something about the heartache and yearning that pulls me in every single time and Blue Northern did exactly that.
Colt and Violet’s story was both beautiful and heartbreaking. The two met in 7th grade and were each other's first and only loves, growing up side by side, which made everything they went through more emotional. The way Tilly captures their struggles with infertility, the disappointment, the heartbreak, the devastation, felt so real. You could feel how it slowly led to the end of their marriage and Violet leaving.
The time jump takes us almost 10 years after their divorce, when Violet returns home from NYC. That moment when Colt sees her for the first time and realizes she's pregnant broke my heart. I could literally feel Colt's pain in my own heart. Watching him think she moved on absolutely broke me.
Colt though, he is the standard. The way his love for Violet never wavered, the way he still longed for her and the life they could have together was easily my favorite part of the book. And the “my Wife’s” was a total swoon each time.
I also loved the mystery element woven into the story. It kept me on edge trying to figure out who Violet’s stalker was, which added such a good layer to everything else going on.
In the end, seeing Colt and Violet find their way back to each other and finally get the family they both deserved made it all worth it. I’m already so excited for Beau’s story! Thank you to Tilly for the ARC of this book.
You know, when I requested this ARC, I was going in blind: I didn’t know what Tilly’s writing was like, or anything about her world (NOTHING) and believe me, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made as a reader.
Blue Norther was that book I started and couldn’t put down for even a second; stories about second chances and suspense are 100% my thing, and this is something I discovered this year thanks to another author. Now, this story is sad, but at the same time, it’s beautiful. Sad because we see how the protagonists carry a pain that has been with them for years, and at the same time, it’s beautiful because that pain was necessary for who they are today. So yes, here we see a more mature Violet and Colt, and they’re more aware of what they want today.
Violet, a woman who simply shows me what it means to have the strength to keep going, what it means to find YOUR own path, and that... if you don’t take risks, you don’t win, you have absolutely nothing. On the other hand, we have Colt, someone who clings to everything tangible to him, someone who moved on but whose heart froze the moment his whole life stopped being what he wanted. Colt is one of those men we honestly know exist but aren’t exactly lining up to get one of them. Now, the suspense… IT HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT, and I suspected everyone, and yes, indeed, the person I thought it was turned out to be one of my suspects, I’m proud of that, hahahaha.
What to Expect: 🩵Second Chance Romance 📚Romantic Suspense 🩵Extreme Loss 📚Small Town 🩵It’s ALWAYS been you. 📚Infertility Issues 🩵Stalker 📚Protector MMC 🩵Author FMC 📚“MY WIFE!” 🩵SO MUCH LOVE!
Blue Norther completely wrecked from the very first page. When I say I cried, I FRICKIN CRIED. It destroyed me, but it was soooo good. Following Colt and Violet, childhood sweethearts whose marriage fell apart under the weight of repeated pregnancy losses and the heartbreak that followed, forcing Violet to leave town thinking she would be protecting them both, only for it to cause even more pain.
Violet returns nearly a decade later (FINALLY) very pregnant and carrying secrets that shake Colt, his family, and the town to their very core. But even through the shock of everything, the immense lingering hurt, and the dismissiveness of Violet towards the danger surrounding her, it’s painfully clear their love never faded. Will time heal all wounds?
I HUGE thank you to Tilly H. Colson and House of Hearts for sending this one over. It was my first Tilly read, and let me tell you, it hit me sooo hard, she became an instant FOREVER read. I will always look for books by Tilly, and will tell everyone I know to read them. Just make sure to check your triggers because they are EMOTIONAL.
-
My heart. I cried soooo much. This was my first by Tilly, but it 100% won't be my last. 🥹😍🫶🏼 Full RTC!!
The way Tilley unravels a story is truly a work of art. I love her writing style and the way she captures your attention and emotions from beginning to end. Blue Norther was so, so good.
Ever since we got a glimpse of Colt and Violet in Jessie and Hawk’s book, I’ve been anxiously awaiting their full story and it absolutely did not disappoint.
Colt and Violet have gone through so much heartbreak, both during their marriage and after their divorce. Their struggles with infertility were difficult to read at times, but also humbling and deeply moving. Tilley handled that part of their journey with so much love and care, it felt honest and beautifully done.
Both Colt and Violet were easy to root for. Their friends and family provided such strong support and fit naturally into the story, and it was great seeing past characters return.
The suspense was balanced perfectly, not overdone, not underdone, just enough to keep me on my toes and guessing. The ending was satisfying, though I do wish it had been a bit longer. I would have loved a deeper look into the villain and more insight into his motivations, but overall it was still very well executed.
📖: second chance 📖: small town 📖: secret baby 📖: divorced couple 📖: romantic suspense 📖: “it’s always been you”
I knew before even starting this book it was going to make me cry, and it 100% did. You get hit with all of the emotions in chapter one, and gets even better as you read more.
One of the easiest 5 stars I’ve ever read!!! By far my favorite book by Tilly, I didn’t think that Silver Springs could be beat but boy was I wrong!!!
Colt and Violet were childhood sweethearts but they struggled with infertility which was too much for violet to handle which resulted in them divorcing and being apart for 10 years.
After the 10 years apart she shows back up, but not alone, she come back pregnant. She came home because she was being stalked in New York and need to feel safe again. Colt stops at nothing to keep her and her baby safe. They might be divorced but their love for each is still there and grows stronger as the days pass.
We get all of the “ it’s only been you” moments and he never lets her forget how much he cares for her and her baby. Colt stops at nothing to find her stalker.
Such an easy 5🌟! Thank you Tilly for the opportunity to read this eARC!!!!
Thanks House of Hearts and author for the review copy of this book. This is my first book of this author.
Total rating: 3.75 It was an easy, digestible read! Like you can really grasp what is happening but also, the tone/wordings and storytelling are understandable.
One thing I did not like hence the lower rating is that the villain is actually so so sooooo PREDICTABLE, not one sense of mystery on that, once the problem of the story was introduced and one initial clue lead to him, you'll clearly know. And that it being resolved in that last 15% part of the book, is kinda not really stressing me out like it used to in other books. I was just looking forward to how that villain will react and plot and do his part, and it only happened in that last parts of the book. where albeit the story progressing ok, it seemed rushed in the end for the telling of the happily ever after.
Still a good book though, just not good plotwise for me. Since this feels like some books I've read before that the only good thing it gave me the rating of more that 3 stars were that the difference in the surprise baby element and the divorce/second chance. Like that was the only unique thing to the plot.
Blue Northern by Tilly H. Colson Silver Ridge Ranch book 1
This book is the one to read when you need to read about deep love, soul mates, that heart breaking love that ends up being forever no matter what! I cannot get enough of this book, this family and these brothers 🥰😮💨🩵
Colt and Violet have the perfect love from high school until they don’t. Infertility and so many losses, Violet needed Colt to let her escape. She did it for him and he just let her go. They had been divorced for years before Violet needed to go back to the only place she felt safe to get away from her stalker. The one place she knew Colt would keep her and her baby safe. When Colt sees Violet for the first time in years and she’s pregnant, his first reaction, pure happiness for her. But then complete heartbreak it was supposed to be him. These 2 have such a complex emotional journey back to one another. Add in a stalker and it becomes even more intense. The lengths Colt goes to keep Violet safe will warm your heart 💞 I just adore the work Colt and Violet both put in to let go of the past and just be. I love the appearances from the Silver Springs series 🥰 and I cannot wait for more of these brothers, that epilogue 👀 😏
I was beyond excited to be selected as an ARC reader for Blue Norther, and somehow Tilly Colson still exceeded my already sky-high expectations. This may honestly be my favorite book she’s written yet.
Colt and Violet’s story is heartbreaking, tender, and impossible not to feel deeply. Despite the tragedy in their past, the love they carry for each other is absolutely palpable in every chapter. And grumpy Colton Ford? Completely gone for Violet. Watching his softer side come out for her was everything. “Oh, Colt Ford, the man that you are” became my entire personality while reading this book.
Violet was the perfect match for him — fierce, resilient, loving, and incredibly easy to root for. Their chemistry and emotional connection made them my favorite couple of Tilly’s so far.
Tilly also handled infertility with so much care, honesty, and compassion. It felt raw and real in a way that will resonate with so many readers. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Tilly Colson book without a touch of suspense woven in perfectly to keep you hooked until the very end.
And that little tease of Mae & Stone? Absolutely unfair in the best way. Be still my heart!

thank you house of hearts for this ARC because i am in my feels, heart warmed, and was NOT ready
read for: • all the angst • second chance romance • “it’s ONLY ever been you, it only will ever be you.” • suspense- fuck you, you know who • spice (🌶️) • rainbow baby • reconnection with fmc found family
This was one of those stories where you KNOW twenty years down the road these two are still together, in love, and being the absolute best (and overprotective) parents in the world. They are soulmates and it couldn’t be more obvious.
For my second chance romance doubters…for this? it just made sense and it was heartbreaking the whole time 😭😭 also this is not a simple “we’ve talked about it once, i forgive you, the end”- we have communication and feelings and the characters being just so human
also I LOVED that we got a glimpse of their different timelines (prologue and epilogue) it made the story all the more rich
put this on your tbr’s immediately
CW: infertility, stalking, themes of pregnancy and childbirth,
From the outset this novel has instant stakes and angst. I was completely enthralled with Colt and Violet’s story.
After years of loss, Violet believes that the only way for Colt to be happy is to leave him. They are miserable apart until Violet shows up in town pregnant. Colt knows it is his second chance at being happy with his soulmate and won’t let anything deter him. However, a stalker has an insidious obsession with Violet which puts everything into jeopardy.
Colt and Violet are a couple that you root for from the jump. The pain they are in is palpable and you yearn for them to get a happy ending. I loved that their feelings never wavered and Colt’s declarations of love always made me swoon.
The suspense element in this book was just right. There were a few potential suspects and the storyline was always under the surface of the plot keeping you turning the pages. Perfect for fans Catherine Cowles.
I received an ARC from the author via House of Hearts Literary Service. My thoughts and opinions are my
Are you looking for a book that is going to absolutely destroy you? Have you ignore all of your responsibilities to finish it in one day? Cry so hard your chest hurts?? WELL I FOUND THE BOOK FOR YOU!
Colt and Violet’s story is so good and SO SAD. They are soul mates and no one can tell me different. Colt “the Yearner” Ford puts every mmc to shame. After 9 years after their divorce, he still held out hope for Violet to come home. When she returns, Colt steps up when his pregnant WIFE (no one call her ex wife or I’ll flip out) and protects her when someone is coming after her.
I love how Violet gets to rejoin the Ford Family and is loved so deeply by them all. I cannot move on from how every part of this book was just perfection.
I FLEW through this book and truly couldn’t put it down. An absolute MUST READ, 6 star, perfect book (in my opinion)!!
Thank you so much to Tilly and Team Tilly for this amazing nick name ARC! I cannot wait to read the next book!!
Blue Norther is heartbreak wrapped in bittersweet emotion. Colt is the kind of man everyone dreams of—strong, loving, protective, and fiercely loyal.
Your heart aches for Vi, but at the same time, you can’t help the growing frustration as she delays coming forward. That push and pull adds to the emotional weight of the story.
Once everything finally breaks open, the tone shifts into something beautifully sweet as they find their way back to each other—taking those scary first steps while rebuilding on shared memories.
Emotion runs heavy throughout, with family acting as a strong pillar, adding depth and strength to every moment.
The suspense lingers just out of reach, building frustration as you start to piece things together yourself. When danger finally strikes, it hits hard—and the satisfaction of watching Colt step in and protect what’s his makes the payoff worth it.
I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of Blue Norther by the author in exchange for my honest review.
The words emotional damage come to mind when thinking of this book. You know your reading a book by a truly talented author when they can have you connect with characters enough to be crying and heartbroken for them only 3 pages in.
Colt and Violet's story is filled with love, kindness, good intentions, so much pain and grief. Their story of infertility felt so real and so raw, the internal struggles these two fight are equally frustrating and understandable.
I read this book in under 24 hours because I was so emotionally invested in these characters and I needed to know how this story played out.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the romantic suspense genre and if you are diving into this book I suggest a full box of tissues and clearing your day cos your not likely going to want to put it down.
This story didn’t just take my breath away—it wrecked me in the most beautiful way. Every moment Violet and Colt have endured, every heartbreak, every hope… it all pours off the page so vividly you can feel it in your chest. Tilly captured their pain and their love with such raw honesty, and as someone who has walked the road of infertility myself, her portrayal felt achingly real and full of compassion. I fell completely in love with this family. Colt absolutely shattered me—in the best way. His unwavering devotion, the way he never stopped loving her, never stopped choosing her… it was everything. And Violet’s journey broke my heart and healed it all at once. Her insecurities were so deeply human, and watching her slowly reclaim her strength and her worth was powerful and emotional. This book is going to stay with me for a long, long time. And that epilogue? It left me breathless and desperate for the next chapter in this world.
Nobody does romantic suspense like Tilly H. Colson! This one had me hooked from the first chapter. Second-chance romance, secret/planned pregnancy, and a protective hero? Say no more. The FMC, Violet, coming back into town pregnant after years away already sets the stakes high, but adding a dangerous admirer into the mix took the tension to another level. The emotional pull between her and her MMC, Colt, felt really messy, unresolved, and still full of love and soooo much angst. You could feel the history in every interaction.
I loved how the story balanced suspense with romance. Just when you’d settle into their emotional reconnection, the danger would creep back in and remind you what’s at stake. If you love second chances, the pregnancy trope, protective MMCs and FMCs, and a little danger mixed with heartfelt moments, this one delivers. Couldnt put it down and read it in a day! - ARC Review
This story was one of the best second chance romances I’ve ever read. From the very beginning, I was already devastated for the two main characters, and honestly, I didn’t think it could get any sadder. Watching Colt and Violet navigate life after their divorce while still clearly longing for each other was heartbreaking in the best way. This book truly tears you down just to build you back up. Seeing Violet and Colt find their way back to each other and celebrate their baby boy was everything.
And then…THE TWIST!!!! I was completely shocked. When the stalker was revealed, I was speechless. I never saw it coming, I was blindsided like Violet was. This story had the perfect balance of love, redemption, longing, happiness, and suspense. The author also did an amazing job building up the side characters, I need their stories immediately!!
Huge thanks to House of Hearts Lit and Tilly H. Colson for the advance copy. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!
They fall fast (or never fell out), and it actually feels like it moves quickly. It was a bit of a heartbreaking story…
‘It’s always been you’ on both sides, with almost a decade of heartbreak and pining before she returns to town carrying a secret.
The stalker/suspense storyline has you on the edge of your seat. It’s there, just lurking in the shadows, and while I picked the baddie very, very early, the story did still keep me guessing… wondering if I was barking up the wrong tree.
A little angsty(ish) at the start, a couple of cliffhanger moments that do leave you worried, and a family that really draws you in. With a teaser for Beau’s story at the end, you know who’s next, but oh my… it certainly makes you wonder what their actual relationship is!
Thanks, Tilly, for the advance copy! A fantastic read.
Although there is quite a bit of suspense, this was a really sweet, later in life, second chance romance. Both Violet and Colt were loveable MCs that really did selflessly love each other despite their divorce. This story will pull all the heartstrings and really convince you that true love is worth fighting for.
Tropes to Expect:
🌟 Small town romance 🌟 "It's always been you" 🌟 Second chance/divorced MCs 🌟 Romantic suspense 🌟 Found family 🌟 No third-act breakup
TWs (and possible spoilers): infertility, miscarriages, divorce, grief, death of a parent, stalking, kidnapping
*I received this book as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.*
This might be my favorite love story I have ever read! It was real and hard and not perfect but deep and beautiful!!

Atmosphere 😭💕📝🍼🎁🔪💍 I cried. Multiple times. This broke my heart and then pieced it back together so sweetly with their love. It is the kind of book where I fell in love them them and am so sad our time together is over and at now so excited to get the rest of the families stories! The way Beau’s story has been set up! 🤯so ready!
Recommend! Yes. Yes. Yes. If you loved Sparrow Falls (Catherine Cowles) or the Edens (Devney Perry) I think you will love this too!!
“Just because I set you free, doesn’t mean I don’t pray every damn day that you’ll return to me.”
I received an ARC from Tilly H. Colson and House of Hearts in exchange for my honest review.
I knew this book could be emotionally hard on me because of my own personal experience with infertility but I also knew that Tilly H. Colson writes incredible books with her entire heart and the chance of the book being incredible were very high. With that said I loved every second! I looove a suspenseful romance and was constantly guessing my opinions to my Fiance. Colt was a fantastic MMC! I can’t even begin to imagine what the brothers will be like in their respective books.
You really get dropped into it right from the get go. Pregnancy loss happens so keep that in mind when deciding to read this book. I was in tears from the very beginning. My head hurt for what Violet and Colt had to deal with and then the pain of leaving. I love that they came back together. This is a romantic second chance “it’s always been you” book. Everything flows so well and happens over a short period of time. I don’t feel like there was anything missed and no excessive fluff. The Ford family were all so sweet and loving. There is a twist that was surprising though not totally unexpected. The end sets up Beau’s story well and has me interesting in reading it.
I need a 6⭐️ option!!!!! This book was EVERYTHING - I couldn’t put it down and devouredddd it in less than 24 hours!
It’s been a minute since I’ve binge read a book this quickly. This story was AMAZING, everything I could’ve asked for and more!!!
If you’re in the mood for a romance with mystery, it’s always and only ever been you vibes, a tight-knit family, and a much deserved HEA, please pick up this one!!!
Thank you SO MUCH Tilly for the ARC of this book! I will cherish it forever and ever. 🩵
This was a beautiful, emotional second chance suspenseful romance. The yearning, the "it's always been you" the secret tattoos, the nursery... the loss and trauma they death with had me IN MY FEELS!
What happens when the sheriffs ex-wife rolls back into their small town, pregnant? After 10 years away, she is back and with a stalker! This was a beautiful story with healing and two people who came back together after nearly a decade, that never stop loving the other!
This book was so beautiful in so many ways. This is a 6 ⭐️ I loved the second chance, “secret pregnancy” tropes in this book so much! Colt is such a green flag, he deserves it all. Violet I could feel the heartbreak through the pages and it made me love her so much. Tilly Colson wrote this and knew you would need some tissues!
“Breathe, darlin’. Everything’s fine. It’s all going to be okay.” I cried, sobbed actually 😭🩵
