An awesome beginning

This is the first book in the series and it doesn’t disappoint. The H is the oldest son of a Maksim and Ella Morozov, their story is the beginning of. He is handsome, rich, kind and will let his demon out when needed. He meets the h when she is running down hall from her kidnapper. She had been sold in a trafficking ring. He helps her and along the way they fall in love. The plot and characters were very well written. There’s the kidnapping, attempted abduction, gruesome murders, betrayal and an unexpected pregnancy. So good, I couldn’t put it down. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Great epilogue.

I feel like I waited forever for this book and it did not disappoint! I loved Ava, the way her mind works had me laughing out loud at points. I definitely could relate to her at times. The bad guy was kind of obvious but the twists to get to that point were a little wild! I did not see some of them coming. The betrayals! This book was great and I had to immediately get the extended epilogue so I could read it. I can’t wait for Roman’s book. He was a great side character so I can’t wait for his story.

Arianna Fraser never disappoints me! This one is dear to me for the ADHD representation. I truly appreciate the humanizing qualities Arianna gives her characters. Definitely not my grandmother’s dime store romance novel variety, but another great Bratva Dark Romance. These next generation novels are an artfully crafted new world with much appreciated appearances of former favorite characters. Definitely worth diving into a new series of interconnected standalone novels, can’t wait to watch this set unfold more!

How sleazy can an ex be by spreading harmful rumors about you at work all because you caught him being unfaithful right before y'alls wedding? Amongst other issues that you have in your personal life, said ex does more trifling things and that's how you find your husband. Y'all I was taken for a ride that I truly enjoyed.

Lord of vengeance

Absolutely loved this book! If you like dark mafia romances, then this book is for you! Please note that this book centers on human trafficking. Not from the MMC or his family. I loved Dimitri and Ava and how he would burn the world down for her! This book so did not disappoint!

5 Stars for The Lord Of Vengeance by Arianna Fraser. Readers should review content for triggers.

What a great story - not your typical Mafia / Bratva storyline. I love that the author wrote such a strong MFC and when the MMC falls he falls hard !

Cant wait to read more in the Bratva Lords series !.

So much more than expected

This isn't like other second generation characters that either completely ignore the parents or fill the story reminding the reader of what happened in the first series. It is just the right mix.

Amazing!

Ava and Dmitri are just perfection together! I love the protectiveness and love! I'll even admit there was a twist I didn't see coming, which doesn't happen often! This is my first book by Fraser and I'll definitely be reading more!

Ava to Dmitri: “Why did you kick them out? I ask. Are you worried they’ll hear my screams on our wedding night?” He fixes me with the filthiest possible grin. “No, I’m worried they’ll hear mine.” Now that conversation alone should capture your interest in Arianna Fraser’s newest book, Lord of Vengeance-The Bratva Lords Series. To note: This is the second generation of The Morozov Bratva Series (highly recommended!!) But, back to our story.
In the beginning…the not so meet cute between Ava Blue, a petite, sliver-blond haired physician’s assistant, and Dmitri Morozov, a dark haired, blue-eyed, 6”5 gorgeous hunk of muscle, and heir apparent to his family's Bratva which is currently headed by his father, Maksim.
New York City: Dmitri is visiting a luxury high-rise apartment building to reluctantly pick up the “idiot” brother of his best friend, Adam, for his bachelor party. Suddenly, a young woman (Ava) bursts out of a neighboring apartment screaming for help. Her clothing is torn and bloody, and she’s covered in numerous cuts and scratches, but even more surprising, she’s being electrocuted by the shock collar around her neck. Despite Ava’s physical injuries, Dmitri is immediately captivated by her beauty, and his protective instincts kick in after she passes out in his arms. He takes her to a private medical clinic for treatment where his mother, Dr. Ella Morozova, is the attending physician.
How did Ava get herself in this dire situation? After moving out of her cheating fiancé’s apartment, Ava is unfortunately living with three other roommates in a cramped apartment where personal space is virtually nonexistent. Let’s just say that on multiple occasions Ava has come home after working long hours at the hospital and only to find strange naked men strutting around the apartment and relaxing on the furniture! While having lunch with her best friend, she’s overheard complaining about her living situation by a woman claiming to be the real estate agent of a high-end apartment building. When Ava questions the affordability, the agent explains that part of the apartment complex offers a percentage of lower income housing to get building permits. Ava is excited for this great opportunity and can’t believe her change in fortune. However, on moving day the horrible truth is revealed, and she’s drugged, beaten, and held prisoner.
After hearing Ava’s confession about the horrors she suffered during her captivity, Dmitri is determined to keep her safe. He convinces her that the safest place to stay is at his penthouse apartment until he can discover why she was targeted for human trafficking, and who is behind this ring. The Morozov crime family may be Bratva, and they are brutal to enemies who threaten their organization and territories, but they’re not involved in the Red Trade (human trafficking) and have tried to stamp it out.
What I liked so much about this story are the different layers to Dmitri’s personality. Groomed from birth to be the future Pakhan of the Morozov Bratva, he understands his role in life and makes no apologies for decisions he’s made and actions he has undertaken to maintain power and control. With this kind of life, he hasn’t come across completely unscathed both mentally and physically and must deal with his own inner demons. So, what he finds in Ava is a beacon of light to his often-dark world. He sees her inner strength and the innate kindness in her, and his devotion to her health and welfare knows no bounds. Ava has not always had an easy life. She’s estranged from her large family who raised her in a cult-like existence, where she also suffered from emotional and physical (not sexual) abuse. Furthermore, she struggles with ADHD, but this did prevent her from working hard throughout school and becoming a PA.
Ava and Dmitri develop strong feelings for one another as their relationship grows. She sees a man who is understanding, cares for her well-being, and will even cook for her! However, Ava still has trust issues, and when her life is threatened again, she unfortunately sees a darker side of Dmitri’s personality that he had kept hidden, and she reacts strongly against it. With their relationship in jeopardy, how will Dmitri handle this while also dealing with unknown enemies who are targeting the Morozov shipments and businesses? Furthermore, what happens when Dmitri suspects a connection between the trafficking ring and all the recent attacks against the Morozov Bratva? What about Ava? Will she find her inner bad girl and embrace her new family and the ever-present danger of Bratva life? I encourage you to read and find out. Meet a wonderful cast of characters you will come to love in this book and throughout the new series. I promise you will find danger, excitement, love, and lots of sexy times. Don’t worry, the baddies get what’s coming to them…Morozov style!
A huge thank you to the talented Arianna Fraser for another fantastic read, and for continuing the Morozov Bratva Saga. You’re the best!

As a neurodivergent person I really looove well-written representation in books, like we got in this one. In case you’re in need of a good dark mafia romance book where the MMC is neurodivergent you can read death’s favor by Jill Ramsower !

Now let’s go back to the story at hand: I really really liked it. The FMC was truly the star of the show for me, so smart, sassy, strong, confident, interesting. Everything you could wish for in a strong FMC, well expect it of her ! Truly the highlight of this whole book.

As for the MMC I have some mixed feelings about him, I really liked him for most of the book. He’s really caring, strong, smart and all. But the way he reacted and talked to the FMC during “that” big fight ?? I was so so disappointed, like I understand “hurt people hurt people” but he was being SOOO unfair to the FMC. Like, you can’t expect someone who’ve lived her whole life outside of the mob life. To just be okay with every aspect of it overnight, when you’ve had your whole life yourself to adjust to it ?? I know that after that everything was well and right again, but I’m way too petty of a person to just gloss over the fact that he talked to her that way.

The plot was really interesting and was as important as the love story throughout the whole book so I really liked that.

As for the smut, it was well written enough but it did felt like it wasn’t the author’s cup of tea seeing how fast the scenes ended ? The first smut scene ended so fast I was genuinely taken aback, like it started and a page or two after was already finished. I think it made it a bit difficult to understand how deep their attraction to each other really was, but maybe it’s just me so don’t take my word on it.

All in all a really good book, but that fight really took me out of the story after that. I would have expected a looooot of groveling on his part after this. But I would still recommend other people to read it, you might appreciate it even more if you’re not as petty as me.

I’m so glad Arianna Fraser is back with the Morozov family, Mistaken is my all-time favorite! I am also glad to have a break from the Irish😬
This book felt very different from her previous ones both in writing and pathing.
The story was deeper, I loved the side characters and multiple plots. I was never bored, and there was action at every turn, which kept me entertained

✅Bratva/doctor dynamic
✅no virgin
✅kidnapped by the villain
✅marriage and surprised pregnancy
❌no cheating/sharing/OW drama

That said, there were two things that bothered me:

First, I was really anticipating this book because of the teasing on Facebook, and I was hoping Ava’s ordeal would be explored in a darker, more intense way (yes, I’m a little twisted like that). Unfortunately, we don’t get much detail about what happened to her and the whole thing happened on a couple of pages. It’s not even 10% of the book. When Dimitri watches the video, he mentions he couldn’t hold it, but all we know is that she was beaten and starved for 3 days. There’s no mentioned of SA, which is fine, but the whole ordeal is barely touched on. I also would have liked more insight into her recovery and how she copes with PTSD , aside from a single nightmare, there’s little to no exploration.

The second thing was their chemistry. I’m used to the Irish way of obsessive, intense romance, and here I felt that same level of obsession was missing. Their connection didn’t quite hit the same emotional intensity I was expecting.
Overall, it’s still a compelling read with strong pacing and action, but I personally wanted a bit more depth in the characters’ emotional journey and romantic tension.

I am not sure about Roman’s book because of his playboy attitude and the whole “I like it dark…” will see.

❤️‍🔥My Review❤️‍🔥

Dmitri Morozov is the intended heir to the Morozov family. His father, Maksim is going to retirement soon. He is the best man at his best friend wedding, Adam. But Adam asked him to get his lazy and not dependable brother Ilya to his bachelor party. On his way to his appointment, a woman is running to him, in distress yelling: I have been kidnapped! And just lost consciousness in his arms.
Ava Blue is a Physician’s Assistant, still getting her degree. She met Cynthia Watkins, a real estate agent at Gordi’s Sandwich Paradise, a little restaurant near the hospital. She will find her a new place to live bc being with three other women in the same apartment is just too much for her. She finally gets the appartement but what’s came with it was her worst nightmare… being sold in a Red Trade trafficking ring.
Her only salvation? Running to Dmitri’s arms who promised her he will find out who did this to her and will burn the whole world to avenge her.

First book in The Bratva Lords series. It’s a second generation series. We need to go back to the Morozov Bratva series (the second series she wrote) to meet Maksim Morozov, Dmitri’s father. I highly recommend reading it before this series. I was so happy to hear that Arianna Fraser will write this series. I’m a s*cker for second generation series and trust me, you will want to read this. It’s Bratva at his best. Unhinged men, possessive, but also very compassionate, understanding and a bit cinnamon roll. Because no one touches what is theirs. And will do everything for the woman who come trashing all their beliefs in their life. Who’s next? I know who but it will be my secret… unless you go read it yourself!!!!

The next generation by MeemsAngel82

I can't believe that this is here! The next generation of the Morozov Bratva is here and we have the son of the leader and his wife all grown up. He will be the leader and is a good man. This h is a strong woman and has been through it! She has a strong mind and though has been through some challenges, she has worked so hard to go to school and make something of herself.

She needs a new apartment, her roommates aren't helping her keep her sanity and finds trouble instead of a new home. She then runs, literally, into him...

I have been reading Arianna for quite sometime now and I love how her books feel so real! There is never any character that feels flat, rather they are rounded out and have real qualities to them. Family is a huge concept in her books and these men and women answer and talk things out with their family members. There is never a dull moment as we get action and emotions and characters joking with one another. And love! These men know how to talk and I don't think they give their ladies much of a chance not to fall for them! This H in particular meets her and is haunted and sickened and angry at what she had to go through. I love how his people refer to her as his girl! And when she is able to, the way she responds to his nature is wonderful! An entertaining book start to finish, family togetherness and a spicy love story! I never expect anything less from the very kind Arianna!

This story starts out with a bang. Ava is a PA completing her residency requirements at Bellevue in NYC. She was engaged to a surgeon but found him getting serviced by a nurse at work 6 weeks before her wedding. She's working long hours with little pay and needs to find an apartment without roommates. The apartment she is lured to is a trap for human trafficking. She escapes and runs into Dimitri Morozov arms. He takes her to his mother's private clinic for treatment for several days.
He moves her to his penthouse for recovery and safety when it is clear she is in peril. They start to develop a relationship as he spends time with her.
Multiple attempts on her life motivate Dimitri to marry her for ultimate protection.
There is a breathtaking conclusion when the trafficking ring is exposed putting her life on the line.
Ultimately there is a HEA ending.
I loved this story; the characters are rich each with their own idiosyncrasies which affect their actions. The plot is wonderful with lot of surprises and subplots. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Arianna Fraser never misses!!! She's the High Priestess of Dark Romance to me. Her books always put me in a magical trance I savor slowly because I never want them to end. Lord of Vengeance launches a new Bratva series with another unforgettable hero. Dmitri Morozov is ruthless and feared, but when Ava runs to him, his brutal world turns fiercely protective and completely obsessed. I loved that, despite his violent life, he draws a hard line against human trafficking, making his devotion to Ava, betrayed, kidnapped, and constantly targeted, even more powerful.

Their slow-burn, tension-filled romance unfolds amid danger, betrayal, and a forced marriage to protect her. Dmitri’s possessive energy, Ava’s resilience, his fun but ruthless found family, and Arianna’s richly detailed Bratva world make this impossible to put down. Strong chemistry, nonstop action, and a satisfying HEA, plus her signature chapter taglines, make this another must-read. I can’t wait for book 2!!!.

🖤Mafia
🖤Forced Marriage
🖤Surprise Baby
🖤Found Family

I have fallen in love with Arianna’s writing over the last six months, especially the found family dynamics within her mafia stories…they always pull me in. Lord of Vengeance had a unique plot unlike anything I’ve read before, and the twist at the end completely caught me by surprise.

Ava is a strong heroine who still shows vulnerability, which made her feel real and relatable. Dmitri is ruthless and fiercely protective, willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. I definitely wanted to throat punch him at one point, but I couldn’t help loving him anyway!

This story has it all: danger, action, betrayal, revenge, spice, and even some emotional moments that hit harder than I expected. Overall, a gripping and memorable read.

This is so good you will not be disappointed. Ava was rescued from a very bad situation and ran right into Dimitri. Dimitri has never thought that he would find a woman for him as he has some things that he is very sure a woman could not accept, but there is something about this injured woman that steals his breath. The chemistry between is so much fun to read, and the action is non-stop that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I cannot wait to see where Arianna takes us with this series. Be prepared that once you start this book you won't want to put it down as you will want to finish it. This is a must read!!!

Lord Of Vengeance by Arianna Fraser is a captivating dark romance with slow-burn tension and pulse-pounding storytelling. The narrative weaves together a complex web of relentless danger, betrayal, and revenge.

When Ava escapes a harrowing ordeal and literally runs into Dmitri’s arms, the story shifts into a collision of instant attraction and dark reality. Dmitri’s ironclad resolve evaporates when Ava triggers a protective, possessive compulsion that he is utterly powerless to ignore.

I really enjoyed this Bratva romance. The main characters were easy to connect with, and I loved their chemistry together.

That said, the relationship did feel a little insta-love for me. I would have liked to see their connection build just a bit more naturally.

One of my favourite parts was the family dynamic within the MMC’s family. It added warmth and depth to the story and made the world feel much bigger than just the romance.

Overall, I enjoyed it and will definitely be continuing with the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed this book. Ava was funny in her own way and Dmitri was just a sweetheart.

I found their argument a bit weak, but considering everything that happens in the book, that's probably to be expected. And there's always something going on, I was always tense and waiting for it to come out again. There could have easily been a few more guts 🤭

I love these big families, where mutual affection and love can be expressed with a punch in the face.

For me, a nicely written book, it could have been a little rougher and I wouldn't mind it at all, with a smooth plot, funny and sarcastic comments.

I enjoyed it and I'm sure I'll enjoy the sequel.

A Dark Romance

What a series starter, Dimitri the heir apparent and Ava, a perfect mix of bad and good with lots of sizzle in between. The characters are entertaining and their antics will keep you on your toes.

Ava is a fighter and a perfect match for Dimitri, his persona is pure danger but for her, he shows a different side.

A super-sexy intense mafia read taking you into a world filled with betrayal, danger, lots of action, chemistry and sizzle.

My review may be a bit biased as I had loved the Morozov series by this author and I was very excited to learn that the next generation would be getting their series as well.
I loved it. It kept the humor and characteristics that made the previous series so charming. Ava can pretty much roll with what Dmitri and the family throws at her. While Dmitri is sweet and vengeful when he needs to be. Looking forward to this whole series.
