This story was pure Vegas chaos wrapped in silk sheets and contracts. Cyn absolutely understood the assignment and executed it flawlessly. She didn’t just play her part, she rewrote the rules, flipped the power dynamic and had Hawk questioning his whole existence by the end of the weekend. When a man has an epiphany mid entanglement, you already know the grip was serious. Mask on, mask off either way she had him hooked.
Hawk being rich, fine and ruthless yet still boxed in by Nina and them dusty contracts made me 38 hot. It was definitely Nina's father looking out for him but he also made sure his babygirl was straight and that’s the kind of finesse I respect. Im glad there was a loophole tho cause Nina won't it!
Now Ari… sis. You held out longer than most, I’ll give you that but the Benadryl maneuver Nasty work 😂Creative but nasty. I knew she didn’t stand a chance once temptation clocked in. Proctor was on her ass allllll damn day!!!Everybody was making questionable decisions but that’s Vegas morals stay at baggage claim.
Fast paced, messy, seductive and bold. This book didn’t tiptoe anywhere. Deals were made, desires were acted on and before anyone could fully process what happened murder and vows were exchanged. Wild ride from start to finish. Vegas really said what happens here changes your life forever.

A Ram in the Bush!
Look, uh here, yes, I wrote that just like I wanted it to be portrayed. When I say I have been hanging on like the man in hang man from Crew's story, it's not an exaggeration. And just when here comes Harrison Proctor. This man is about to shake up someone world. I believe that someone is going to be Ari. Her little secret can't be hidden but for so long. You know that old saying what's done in the dark shall come to the light. I am locked and ready to read more on Mr. Proctor. I feel like we will get to experience Hawk and Cyn's life in the process.
Black Lavish, bring it on, I am so invested that I need to be collecting my Mario coins by now. I am anticipating the next release whomever or whatever I will be indulging in it. Oh, and ladies and gents, I may not have said much about the story. Just know it's fire. It's always a ram in the bush, and everything is not what it seems. Therefore, grab your copy today.

I am so ready for Proctor and Ari
Harrison Proctor and Ari. We gonna have to wait until book to see who the daddy. Seriously, I want to hear more of Nina antics cause you know she was a fool. She really thought she owned that when she should be happy her dad left her anything after ghosting him when he was dying. We were cheated on Ari’s night with Proctor. Will there best friend T figure out her self worth and stop chasing the D? How will Ari deal with knowing Josiah is dead, where was the body and how was it linked to Proctor. Did he take fall for Hawk? So many questions we will get answers soon. Great intro and tease into Black Lavish next story.

Play Yo Part…Become My Wife❤️
Play Yo Part was honestly a book that I didn’t know I needed. This book had just the right amount of drama sprinkled in with a lil grown folks activities (not too much). I really hope that the author will give us more about Hawk and Cyn, but I can honestly say that I am waiting patiently for Proctor and Ari’s book to drop because I know Proctor is about to put Ari through the mattress and be a problem for her. I do hope that Ari tells Proctor about the baby even if its a possibility that he may not be the father (which I can bet my Fruit Loops that he is).

Wow this was a really nice story! I almost feel like the title doesn’t do it justice because it was so well thought out, the twists were intriguing and fun and to be honest it wasn’t even that spicy. The story was way more intriguing. I was even telling my partner a run through of it and he’s not a reader and was interested haha.
If this was a full blown series or larger book I’d 100% read, I’m happy to know that there Will be another standalone for some of the characters though, really excited for that.
The only reason I’m rating 4/5 is because of the grammar in the book. The author kept switching between tenses which disrupted my flow of reading a bit.

what happens in Vegas doesn’t necessarily stay in Vegas.
I guess the saying, “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” isn’t true. Can you imagine one spontaneous night of joining in on a threesome would turn into you meeting your husband. Especially when your husband is already engaged to another woman? Well that’s the story of Cyn and Hawk. I enjoyed the ride I took with them. It was really cute. I’m happy that Hawk was able to find his person even though it came with hurting his finance. I can’t wait for Proctors story though. Ari has a lot of explaining to do lol.

cool read.
I liked the plot. It was a creative twist on arranged marriage. I loved Cyn & Hawk.
Their chemistry was on point. My only gripe is I wish we had one or two scenes of them as a married couple. Learning each other & growing together. I hate we didn’t get to witness their love blossom.
The drama & messy antics are plentiful. With good spice sprinkled in between.
The set up for Ari & Proctor’s book was solid. I really loved P’s energy. What a curveball he’s been thrown. & life is just dragging miss Ari by her edges.

I’m so glad hawk got out of the contract with Nina cause she was a straight up bi.ch why would she wanted to do a threesome because she knew he was slipping away but she had to notice the way he acted afterwards and poor proctor gave his life up for his son but I know it’s worth it but now he has to explain it to ari and Tania just throwing her hot ssa around to anyone who willing to take it ari putting her ssa to sleep I fell out lol I can’t wait to see what happens next see you soon

A whirlwind of events amongst friends in Vegas
Cyn got more than she could ask for when flying in to Vegas for Ari and Josiah’s wedding. A threesome let to an arranged marriage… which ended in real love! Hawk was perfect for her. Ari loses Josiah and maybe from the hands of Procter, who could be her unborn child’s father. I’m ready for there book. This was an awesome read to end the year Black!!! Keep it up hun!

She was so annoying and power tripping.. Not fully understanding the contract at all. That's why Hawk found his happiness elsewhere. 😆

Since I’ve started reading Black Novels she hasn’t disappointed me in anyway.. Way to my girl.. Now back to this here novelle. I see now Procter is about an unhinged problem for Ari. Will she forgive him? Will she tell him about the baby? I can’t wait to find out.. My girl ended this year bang and I can’t wait to what’s in store for 2026.

The threesome that started it all
This is my first time reading Black Lavish and they did not disappoint! The characters were believable, I even wanted to throat chop Nina. Tania is that friend that you have to keep an eye on her, CmAri was faced with a huge mountain, and Cyn seemed to get the HEA with Hawk!

Inviting another woman in your bed and not expecting your man to double back is wild. I knew a couple pages in exactly what was going to happen. Nina was so concerned about a wedding she didn’t even realize her man wasn’t really he man. Cyn & Hawk seemed to be more compatible. Ari drugging her friend so she can get her back blew out without judgement was wild. I wasn’t expecting the ending , perfect setup to Ari and Proctor story.
