♥️💙❤️😘This was my first racing romance, and I absolutely loved it! It follows Regan and Dane, fierce rivals in the stock car racing series, fighting for the sole spot in the Cup Series. As the story unfolds, their rivalry becomes love as they get to know each by going through every twist and turn as they heal each other wounds in their hearts. And it also takes you to exhilarating journey of them trying to see what they do with their there feelings and also them trying to understand that there feelings are bigger than themselves , that build up to an ending that's truly stunning and uplifting love for both of them! 🤩😘

Thank you for an advance copy from the Arthur Beth Shirey and Fable and Fern

4.5 ⭐️

This was my first time reading a racing romance and I ate it up! The pressure of racing against someone you’re dating added a whole extra layer that I really enjoyed reading. Reagan Brady is a woman in a male dominated sport trying to make it to Cup, and she thoroughly understands the importance of being in that position. She makes some of her decisions based off that because she knows she has to work 10x harder to make it in that world.
Dean Dixon is trying to prove something to himself and fulfill his and his brothers dreams of Dean making it to Cup. He’s only focused on one thing, but gets distracted and ends up falling for her HARD.

“I want to be near you, Regan, because you make me feel good, alright? You make me feel like there could be a life outside this racing world. —— I’ve lived and breathed racing. I need you, more than I’ve needed anyone. I’ll be here however you’ll take me, Brady.” —screaming, crying, kicking my feet here! 😍

I loved that the characters didn’t have an insta-love relationship. It started out slow with barely noticing things about the other person and then grew to something more, especially when they found things in common. They both had traumas that they were working through and were able to do that with support of the other person. When they finally come out the public had me screaming in excitement for them! The pacing was a great and I felt like I got a full complete story without being rushed. Loved this one!

If you’re looking for the following then this is the book for you!
-Dual POV
-Rivals to lovers
-Racing Romance
-He falls first

Thank you so much to @fableandfernlitco and @beth.shireyauthor for providing me with this ARC.

Wreck Me was my first racing romance and wow… I devoured it. 🏁🔥
From page one, I could vividly picture every race, every charged glance, every moment of tension…it played like a movie in my head.
The chemistry between Dixon and Brady is electrifying. Their rivals-to-lovers dynamic is done so well: sharp banter, simmering tension, and that slow build where you feel every look and near-miss before anything even happens. When the spice does hit, it’s the perfect amount…steamy without overpowering the story.
What really impressed me was how grounded the characters felt. Watching Regan fight to prove herself in a male-dominated world added depth and heart, and peeling back the layers of both leads made their connection feel earned, not rushed.
It honestly blew my mind that this is a debut novel. The pacing, the tension, the romance…it all worked. If you love rivals-to-lovers with high stakes, strong chemistry, and a fresh setting, this one is absolutely worth the read.

Wreck Me

We meet Regan Brady and Dean Dixon rival drivers. The book takes you on a journey of grief, growth, love, and overcoming. There were a lot of different plot points. Overall an easy read with some heavy topics unexpected deaths prior to the story beginning that shape the characters, overcoming stigmas in a male dominated field and learning to trust again.

Regan is 21 so that plays out in her inner voice a lot. I’m
Not sure if that was intentional but I felt like the maturity of the character’s was very much young adults which is nice.

The smut I would say is a 3/5 on spice level.

Overall I liked that this was not a typical sport you read about in romance. It kept me engaged.

I would recommend this book to just about anyone.

I liked the pacing the book and characterization. The plot is great and moves forward well. This author knows how to plot and pace a book!

Overall, I wanted more yearning, more tension, and more banter. Some of the dialogue and relationship building between Regan and Dean felt surface level. I would have loved some more intense conflict and or internal conflict that would have shaped the characters and shaped how their relationship builds. Yes, they are rivals but nothing really connects them. Yes, they both race cars but what else?

The characters were also in their early twenties. I think the female protagonist was 21 and that made it hard to connect with her.

Thank you to Fable and Fern Literary Co. for an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

Let’s just start off by saying that this book sucked me right in. I couldn’t put it down till I finished it.
This was a rivals to lovers story.
I loved the banter between Regan Brady and Dean Dixon.
Regan and Dean both had their share of heartaches.
They were both race car drivers on different teams.
Their feelings towards each other changed from hate, to longing, to love. In the end they both got their dreams and their HEA.

I received this as an ARC read, and this is my honest review.

The plot progressed at a great pace, the POV switch always came at a good time and let you experience the same scene from both sides and that elevated the romantic connection for me. Overall I really enjoyed the connection and realistic relationship buildup, the ending had me teary eyed and the prologue tied everything up perfectly!! Quick read, had me hooked and excited to see if the author publishes anything in the future.

Regan and Dean were EVERYTHING!! The BEST enemies to lovers and slow burn. Dean is your typical, new girl every race kind of guy whereas Regan doesnt get involved bc shes been hurt too much. Dean starts to fall for her as they start talking more and getting out of their rivalry with each other. Regan has such a hard time trusting him due to his past and her past but Dean does everything in his power to get her to realize shes it for him. I absolutely loved this book!!!

Dual POV, rivals to lovers, and forced proximity? SIGN ME RIGHT UP. I was lucky to be an arc reader for this book and I absolutely loved it!! Dean Dixon and Regan Brady are racing rivals competing to a top spot. Tempers flair, understanding dawns between them, understanding turns into friendship and some back and forth between the two main characters, throw in some spicy scenes and this was a 5 star read for me!! It doesn’t hurt that Dean has a mouth on him, too🥵 DEFINITELY recommend😮‍💨

4.5 Cute book! There's a good ratio between the romance and the racing. Smut is good and doesn't over take the story which I appreciate.
