He wanted revenge. What he got was a war for the fate of his world.
When a ruthless land baron murders his father, Gav Brigham sets out across a harsh frontier to settle the score the only way the Old West knows how.
Then he saves the wrong girl.
Britt isn’t from anywhere Gav has ever heard of—and the enemies hunting her don’t belong on his world at all. What starts as a simple manhunt spirals into a deadly clash of alien warriors, forbidden technology, and a secret so dangerous it could wipe out every human settlement on the planet.
Outgunned, outmatched, and running out of time, Gav must decide whether frontier justice is enough… or if he’s willing to step beyond everything he knows to protect those who can’t protect themselves.

Skyler grew up in Southern California, under the best weather that state has to offer. So, he's shown a little of his insanity over the years in moving to colder, wetter places: New York City; Provo, Utah; Bainbridge Island, WA. He now resides with his family in Texas, which (apart from the humidity) gives him that great weather once again.
Skyler has been and continues to be a leader and executive with multiple Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies, working across a variety of functions, both technical and non-technical. In other words, he's very much a jack-of-all-trades but master of none. Maybe that's why he has now decided to be an author as well. In it, he’s finally found the thing he loves to do most.
Mr. Ramirez currently resides in Texas with his wife, Lindsey, and their four children.
Interesting premise and well written as usual by Mr. Ramirez. While old style western motifs are common in sifi, rarely do they actually have a seemingly authentic version (as must as possible given that it is not actually on Earth) of the 19th century American West. Good book. I hope he does something further with the main characters.
Great read!!! Just the right amount of blood and guts, death and destruction to make it interesting but not so much as to turn my stomach. Is there a follow up? If so I'll read it. I really enjoy this authors style. I've read others of his and will keep reading. 🙂
