Armed with only her wits and her walking cane, and precariously aligned with a man she despises, she must navigate a kingdom built on secrets and deception, where ally and enemy alike hide behind impeccable masks.
She must wrest the pen from those who try to set her future before the ink is wet, and endeavour to write this story herself.
And she declares that this is still not a love story.
It is her war-cry, her hymn, her song of shadows.

The Chasin POVs spilled so much TEA!! I loved every new thing we learned about the world of Lyra, and so many pieces came together by the end that I’m big time excited to see how the gang solves their problems in book 3.
Did not see the reveals and plot twists coming, and all the same found family, humor, and Red Wedding style horror scenes have returned alongside them.
Super satisfying sister to One Small Echo! Full review to come. TY and 🫶🏻 to Jane for letting me hold your book baby early. She's gorgeous.
Side note: I’m having Ironside flashbacks, bc I just want more screen time with all the characters! I need more of everyone!! The Jane Washington effect.

The long awaited follow up to one small echo has arrived in spectacular fashion. Readers will be delighted to pick up where Eiko and her friends left off.... Full of danger and threats from all around. Jane has definitely spun a tale so intertwined that readers will need multiple reads to untangle all the secrets that are hidden. Absolutely amazing in every way.
Eiko and her friends are the people you wish you had in life, always supportive to the end.... Regardless for life or death. Chasin, ever the dark and broody master, ikyk😉 gives readers everything they wanted in book one and more.
Jane also knows how to have the one delightful side character that everyone wants as a forever sidekick, Hymn.... The most lovable monster of them all. Even tho he is just a baby, the depth of character Jane gives him is unparalleled to others, readers are forever going to love on the little one!!!
Jane had just created such a masterpiece with her descriptions of this wonderful monstrous world that deposits such beauty in the darkest of ways. I am forever grateful to come across any new masterpiece that Jane provides us!!!
