Overall a good reference for children as an introduction to Ancient Greece. Covers a lot of different aspects of life and has good illustrations, as well as maps and pictures of artifacts and statues. However, it is not super in depth on any of the topics, so it's more of an overview. Would get kids interested and wanting more. Has a good glossary at the back, but is lacking any kind of pronunciation guide there or anywhere else in the book.
