While the code they live by, written in blood and violence, isn’t for everyone, they stand by it with everything they are. Some of the men of the DR are looking for love and others are running from it, but either way when they find their one, they’ll never let her go.

This is book number 3 of the Saint's Outlaws MC: Dogwood Ridge, TN Chapter series and focuses on Jettson and Lara. Lara has spent her whole life being surrounded by her sister, Lola's, chaos and bad choices. One of those choices led to Lara raising Lola's daughter as her own and moving to Dogwood Ridge to start a new chapter. Jettson had been fed nothing but lies and manipulations at the hands of Lola in regards to Lara and ended up treating Lara terrible for months. When Jettson finds out the truth about Lara and her daughter, he knows that he has to make things right with Lara in order to win her over. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

This is another addition to the Saints Outlaws MC Dogwood TN Chapter and I’ve been waiting for Playboy’s story and I was not disappointed. Playboy has a lot to make up for after believing everything he was told to by Lola who happens to be Lana’s sister. Since he wanted to believe everything, Lana didn’t want to deal with that so she just wanted him to back up. I loved Playboy and Lana’s story it was full of family drama, lies and deceit and made for a great page turner.

After seeing Lara and Playboy in the previous book to this one I was interested in finding out what had gone on between them and what would happen next. Purgatory was totally justified for Playboy, he was horrid towards Lara, she was liked by so many of the MC I couldn't belive that no one had hit him until he listen to them and got his head on straight!

Lara amazed me, she had moved herself and daughter so that Vanessa would be closer to Lola, to give her a chance at a relationship with her birth mother, I know I couldn't have done that if I had been her. When Lara put Playboy in his place and corrected everything he believed to be true my heart hurt for her and Vanessa, by saying what she did hurt them both and she knew that before she said anything. Vanessa showed she was Lara's daughter as she amazed me too with how forgiving she was how she was so matter of fact about things and that she liked Playboy, wanted him to be in her life and helped him to try to be in her Mum's life too.

I really liked that Lara didn't give in to Playboy quickly, that she didn't let herself be pushed or guilted into forgiving him before she was sure she was ready too, she watched who he was, saw him show up time and again and got to know him better, she needed to know if his actions were true and if she could trust what he said. I believed in their connection and chemistry, liked the support they had and liked seeing them together, but I knew that Lola was just waiting to cause them more trouble.

Playboy knew he deserved purgatory, knew he had to work for his redemption, and he also knew that whilst Playboy may belong to his MC, Jettson belonged to his girls, who he would love and protect with everything he was.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ He Believed the Wrong Woman—Now He Has to Earn His HEA! 🏍️❤️‍🔥

Playboy’s Purgatory was such an addictive MC romance! I loved Lara and Playboy’s story, especially because Playboy really has to work for his happily ever after after getting things very wrong about Lara.

Lara was definitely a heroine I could root for. She’s finally putting down roots in Dogwood Ridge, opening her bakery, and raising her sister Lola’s daughter as her own. She’s built a good life despite all the drama her sister continually brings into it, and the last thing she needs is a hot biker judging her based on Lola’s lies.

And Playboy—oh, he frustrated me at first! 😂 He listens to the wrong woman and forms an opinion of Lara without knowing the whole story. When he finally realizes that Lola has been lying and Lara is actually the woman who’s been loving and raising that little girl, he has some serious groveling to do. I loved that Lara didn’t immediately make it easy for him either. An apology wasn’t enough—he needed to prove himself. ❤️

Once Playboy realizes the truth, though, he is ALL IN. The man who proudly earned the name Playboy suddenly wants Lara, her little girl, and the family he never thought he’d want. That transformation was so satisfying!

I also loved the combination of MC drama with Lara’s sweeter world of baking, singing, and caring for her little girl. It made Lara and Playboy such an unlikely but perfect match.

There’s plenty of family drama, secrets, spice, MC danger, and emotion, but at the heart of it is a man realizing he almost lost something amazing because he believed the wrong person—and then doing everything he can to make it right.

Alpha biker + strong heroine + family drama + groveling + found family = an easy 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏍️.

I have been watching Playboy dig his own grave for 2 books. Watching him dig it so far down that Lara was able to bury him was a thing of beauty. Everyone hits their point, and Lara finally did. Watching Playboy come to realizations what his brothers were trying to show him made him seem human. He isn’t without his flaws and once his eyes were open he owned his faults. So often in books,when a man is in the wrong he deflects or goes in the defensive. Playboy owned his mistakes and didn’t make excuses for them. He gave Lara his background, not as an excuse, but just to give her some insight into his mind and his “why” (so to speak). He didn’t need to grovel per-say, but he did and he did it well. Vanessa’s relationship with Playboy shows how people don’t start out jaded, even when they’re shown how horrible those who are supposed to love you turn their backs on you. And her choice for Playboy’s way to show his apology was a genius idea. Even though you can see the trust Lara puts into Playboy she still needs to know 100% that he’ll choose her no matter what. The fact that, while Playboy was hurt with this “test”, he also completely understood her need for it to fully embrace their relationship and he didn’t fault her for it.

Another breath of fresh air from this book is that the OW drama isn’t your typical nonsense. For those who need to know, Playboy’s relationship with the OW is strictly platonic and always has been. This is so rare, especially in MC books.

I haven’t read a book that has left me with so many warm and fuzzies in so long. This will be a book I wish I could be able to read again for the first time.

**True Redemption!**

"Playboy’s Purgatory" is the third book in the Saint’s Outlaws MC: Dogwood Ridge, TN Chapter series. I absolutely loved Lara; she never backed down in response to Playboy's behavior around her because she understood the situation and was aware of the lies being told about her by her own sister. She never felt the need to defend herself. Bravo to Lara for knowing that the truth would eventually come out and that Playboy would be the one left embarrassed.

At the same time, I also fell in love with Playboy. As I got to know more about him, I realized he is truly a sweetheart on the inside, someone who just wants to help those he feels have been left behind. However, when he realizes he has been used, he doesn’t hesitate to do what he must to make things right again.

It was fascinating to watch Playboy make amends with Lara and her smart, witty daughter, Vanessa, who had her own ideas on how Playboy could win her over. The tension and back-and-forth banter between Lara and Playboy were incredibly intense and satisfying, especially when they finally gave in to their desires for each other.

I loved the strong family connection within the motorcycle club and how they support one another, showcasing the theme of found family, which I very much enjoyed. I can't wait to see what happens next in the series!

I struggled with starting this book to be honest. With how Playboy had been treating Lara in previous books, I wasn’t looking forward to the emotions and OWD I thought would be happening. But I love this series, these men and this author so I knew I just had to do it, and I’m so glad I did. Playboy turned out to be so much more than I was expecting and the grovel throughout the whole book was very much needed and appreciated. Lara is an incredibly strong woman for everything she’s been through and continuing to go through. I loved how she put him through the wringer and made him work for her trust. She didn’t just accept his apology or his actions as face value, she made him prove it over and over again until she believed the actions were who he truly was. For those like me worried as well, he never touched Lola, he just believed her lies because of his previous traumas. I really adored the love Rumble and Playboy had for little Vanessa, that whole family relationship was just so sweet and I think something they all needed. I wasn’t a huge fan of Lola’s punishment, but it is a darker themed book so it made sense. There was some editing issues that took me out of the story a bit, but the storyline dragged me right back in! No cheating or OM drama, dual POV, slow burn, HEA and 2 very sweet epilogues in the future. I can’t wait for Opal’s book now and hope she gives him a run for his money!

This is book 3 in the Saint's Outlaws MC Dogwood Ridge, and though it is a stand alone book, the story of Lara and Playboy started in book 1 (small snippets of it), so if you can read the previous books you will get the entire story (and they are excellent books, too)

Lara is a single mom to her niece, a bakery owner, caring, independent, sweet, and in many ways a bit too soft and acommodating. Her sister, Lola is a club girl and not a great person overall (manipulating and coniving). Vanessa, her 10 years old daughter is such a sweet girl who has protected by Lara.
Due to Lola's lies and schemes, Playboy has been cruel to Lara in the past books and continues in the beginning of this, even when he was told by his MC brothers he was mistaken, he was so jaded by Lola. Until Lara stops him and lays the truth for him and he understands his mistakes. Well, be ready for a man to grovel and ask for forgiveness.

The road to redemption for Playboy is long and tough, and you have to aplaud Ember Davis for giving Lara a backbone and making her worth shine, in addition Playboy takes his time to also bridge a relationship with Vanessa even bringing his dad to the story. This in parts helps soften Lara and give into their attraction in passion and love.

She has moved to town, trying to find a better life for her and her daughter. She built a bakery and a good life for them, while trying to be open to reconnect with her sister. The town is a club town and she can’t help interacting with the local MC, for the most part everyone has been welcoming to her, but one man. And she knows why. Her sister. Everyone at the club seems fascinated with the new Baker, but he sees what she’s really about things to the club girl whispering in his ear. Or at least that’s what he thinks until he realizes the truth. Not only has he been lied to, but he’s treated an innocent woman badly and now he has to make it up to her. But she isn’t so trusting. This one had some really good characters and I would say they had an originally in unique story which can be difficult to find a genre. There is definitely some intense growling in this one as he realizes the extent of what he’s done. They also have some really great moments of connection a little bit of drama as the deception unfolds but also a found family both with the MC and with her and of course we cannot leave out their connection. The intense feelings that they have always elicited in each other, definitely become combustible once the lies are removed between them.

I have been loving the Saint’s Outlaws MCs, and this is another great installment. We are reintroduced to Lara and Playboy. Lara is racing her daughter Vanessa, who is around 10, while running a local bakery and trying her best to be the best mom she can be. When her bestie marries into the SOMC, she is thrown into Playboy’s orbit. Unfortunately, he is extremely hostile to Lara at every turn because her sister Lolo, who is a club girl, has been whispering lies to Playboy. When they finally have the confrontation to end all confrontations, Playboy finally realizes how wrong he has been and goes about making it right with both Lara and Vanessa.

I loved this book; it’s part MC romance, part betrayal and grovel, and a whole lot of touching moments between Lara, Playboy, and Vanessa. I loved this book so much that I just want to immediately start reading it all over again once I finish. What Ember Davis does so well is weave a story of love in the middle of a bunch of bikers who are total cinnamon rolls for their women. In this installment, I loved Vanessa; her innocence and wholesome nature brought even more amazing moments to a cute story. Definitely worth a read. I can’t wait to see what’s next in Dogwood Ridge.

This is Jettson “PLAYBOY” and Lara ( plus her cute and witty daughter, Vanessa ) small town dark romance. Dogwood Ridge is a small town on the wrong side of the tracks. This is a fast pace story full of great characters, brotherhood, loyalty, found family, lots of lies, evil sister, drama, humor and more. This book was something else. I couldn't put it down. Hands down 5 stars!! I've been waiting for Playboy and Lara's story and it did not disappoint. I recommend reading the first two books in the series first. One it will help you understand a little more of Playboy's behavior towards Lara and two it's just an amazing series. Boy did Playboy grovel and I was here for it. I understood how he let himself get manipulated but at the same time I wanted to shake him. Lara did not make it easy for him and I loved her for it. Not only was she protecting herself but her daughter as well. My absolutely favorite parts was the relationship development between Vanessa, Playboy "Jettson", and Rumble (Playboy's dad). Those moments made my heart swoon. Absolutely recommend this book. 5 stars!!.

Book three of "Saint's Outlaws MC: Dogwood Ridge, TN Chapter". I have really been looking forward to this book, and it did not disappoint! If you have not read books one and two, I suggest you do so, just so that you understand the context. No one could understand his deep-seated dislike for Lara, his downright cruelty. Normally, Playboy was sweet and considerate. Lara had her suspicions with regard to his attitude. She suspected that the lies being whispered in his ear were the reason and if he chose to believe them, it was on him. Lara had been paying for her sisters lies here whole life, she just kept her head down, raised her daughter and worked hard to provide for them. But that day at the clubhouse was the last straw and she finally gave Playboy some home truths that showed him just how cruel and wrong he had been. Great book !!!

Honestly I absolutely loved this, and I loved how Lara didn't let Jettson (Playboy) get away with his disrespect. 5 stars all the way, and special shout out to Vanessa (Laura's daughter) for her matchmaking efforts.

5 stars! Playboy (Jettson) has been cruel to Lara, single mom to the adorable Vanessa, for months. He believed the lies Lola, Lara’s manipulative, evil sister told him. When Playboy realizes he’s been played and badly by Lola, he goes all out on his redemption tour to make amends with Lara and Vanessa.
Lara was a great FMC, she was smart, kind, a great mother, and did not take it easy on Playboy.
Playboy’s redemption and his patience in winning over Lara made me root for him along with his interactions with Vanessa. When Playboy and Lara finally give in to their steamy attraction to one another, it was intense and satisfying.
Playboy’s dad Rumble was another great addition to the story and his bond with Vanessa was adorable.
This was a great addition to the SOMC, Lola got what she deserved, Lara, Jettson, and Vanessa find the family and love they needed.

After being a massive jerk to Lara Play it finds out all the info he’s been fed about her is nothing but lies and he realizes he has treated her awfully based on those lies. So what’s he do? Pulls out all the stop to win her and her daughter over because even though he disliked her when he was being fed lies he was still attracted to her. Lara however isn’t sure she wants to forgive him. As these two get to know each other the really connect. But Lola, she will do anything she can to make trouble for Lara not caring who gets hurt in the process. Great book. Love this series, trying to make my early through all Ember’s books!.

This was another fab addition to the series and I definitely recommend reading this series in order for best enjoyment. Playboy may be a pretty great guy but he sure has it in for single mom, Lara. No one may have understood his dislike for her but Lara knew. She's spent her life dealing with her sister spreading lies about her and she doesn't defend herself. She works hard to provide for her daughter and just does her best to ignore Playboy's cruelty...until she's had absolutely enough! Boy did she lay into him and how wrong he was about her ;P Expect to get caught up in the family drama, tension, heartwarming scenes and hot romance as these two work their way to a fab HEA. Good fun!

Playboy treats Lara abominably because he has listened to the whopping meat pies her sister Lola has told him. When he finds out that she was telling tales in order to be vicious, he takes a look at himself and doesn’t like what he sees. The rest of his story is basically a redemption arc where he tries to prove himself to Lara, with whom he has fallen in love. Lara is tough and makes him prove himself over and over and, tbh, it gets a little tedious. But then the bow-chicka-wow-wow saves the book.

Instead of that outcome she now finds herself facing the wrath of Playboy, a member of the MC, for what he believes is the truth until she reaches a breaking point and decides to set him straight and hoped to never see her again.

Playboy has a perception of Lara and every interaction they have he makes his opinion of her very apparent. When he realizes how wrong he has been he wants to make amends with both Lara and Vanessa which he knows won’t be easy.

Lara isn’t about to just forgive and forget but Playboy is both patient and thoughtful as he shows Lara and Vanessa that they are meant to be a family and isn’t about to let anything stand in their way.

When it all is revealed, Playboy realises he was manipulated and does everything he can to have her forgive him.
Lara is shown the very sensitive, caring and considerate side of his personality but can she believe him? Can she trust that he is genuine?
Plenty of tears, happy and sad in this book.
It's a must read for devotees of this genre.

I loved this story and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it boy was playboy a silly silly man listening to the whispers in his ears I loved Lara she was such an amazing and strong woman and boy when she’s reached her limit does she let playboy have it both barrels. Vanessa was such a delight she really made me giggle I loved that Lola finally got what was coming to her. I can also understand Lara’s hesitation after what she went through at the same time I started feeling for playboy as he explained some of the reason for his behaviour. Overall it was a great book and I can’t wait for the next one.

This book is my favorite of the series. Playboy made a mistake and had to work for Lora’s trust. It was slow at first but he never gave up and he never pressured her. I didn’t care for Lola and how she was still around but the ending was worth it. Normally I don’t read books with kids because they are pretty annoying but Vivi was awesome and totally worth reading about. Hopefully she will get a story when she is old enough. Highly recommend this book. Almost no violence in the book so for those that are worried about that with this being an MC book, you have nothing to worry about.

Starting this book at a Tennessee county fair already had me in my feelings. I went to one on my own trip to Tennessee and the vibe was exactly the same: warm lights, small‑town magic, and that little ache in your chest that feels like you’re home.

Lara and Playboy’s story hit every single one of my favorite beats. The betrayal, the confrontation, the slow thaw, the earned redemption, it all felt so real. Playboy doesn’t just apologize; he puts in the work, especially with Vanessa, and those scenes were pure sweetness. Lara’s strength, her quiet resilience, and the way she protects her girl made me love her instantly.

If you read Ryker's Renegade you know that Playboy/Jettson has been awful to Lara for sometime, no one in the club can understand where the animosity is coming from. He makes a grave mistake in the middle of club party that has her telling her and her daughter's truth, leaving the club members discusted with him, including his father. He was manipulated by Lara's sister into believing everything she said. He has to work real hard for forgiveness as he should have to. This is an emotional story, Jettson needs to learn patience if he want anything wiht these two ladies.

Best of the series!!

I don’t even like reading about blonde fmc’s but this was so good!!! I also usually can’t get over male players if you know what I mean but he felt like a born again you know what. There was no reminiscing about his free days or about all the women he was with before. And the author also didn’t make out the fmc to be inexperienced which was also great. And let’s just hear some praise for an aunt caring for her niece like that!! All the feels!

The only thing I think I’d change would have been them explaining why Lola was allowed to stay for so long but otherwise, just really good!

Playboy really screwed up. He fell for lies and manipulations and then acted on them. Lara wasn’t about to be treated like that and let him know it. They always had a connection and Lola always stood in the way. As the truth unfolds, he tries to make up for the things he said and his behavior but Lara just wanted him to leave her alone. This is such a good story of healing and redemption. I love Vanessa and how she has so much love and faith in everything. This is such a heartfelt read.

Omg, this book!
I absolutely loved it. I literally could not put it down.

I loved how everything slowly builds up with playboy's past and how he keeps holding on to Lola. And then the moment he finally realizes how wrong he has been and that he would do anything to win Lara back… I was HERE for it.

The way he and Rumhle making Vanessa extra loved en they will do everything for her.
Ohhh, this was so good. I loved seeing how everything played out and how much the characters grew throughout the story.

Honestly, such a good book. I loved it so much!

I have been waiting for this book since I read the first instalment in this series and Playboy definitely did not disappoint. Jettson and Lara were amazing together and boy did he have to work hard to get there. Every step he took to redemption was beautiful to read. I must admit that watching Lola get what she deserved was also brilliant. I absolutely loved this book and the additional characters make it even better. Please do yourself a favour and grab this one to read quickly. You won't regret it.
