BLURB — ZERO HOUR MINUS 72 A.M. — RAW Cybersecurity Division, New Delhi
The alarms didn’t just blare—they screamed.
Monitors erupted red The Phoenix firewall—Ashna Kapoor’s unbreakable creation—was collapsing like wet paper.
“Sir, the breach isn’t external!” a tech analyst shouted, fingers flying across his keyboard. “Someone’s rewriting the protocol from inside the root layer.”
“Impossible,” snapped Director Rao, storming toward the central console. “Phoenix can’t be edited remotely. Kapoor hard-coded the—”
He stopped.
The screen changed.
HELLO, PHOENIX. MISSED ME?
The room froze.
Rao’s jaw tightened. “Shut it down. Now.”
“Sir, the system isn’t responding,” the analyst whispered. “It’s overriding everything.”
Then the Phoenix render on the main screen twisted.
The golden bird of flame distorted, feathers darkening, wings bending until the image broke apart—fractalling into something sharper, colder, predatory.
A new emblem formed.
ZERO HOUR.
Rao felt the chill crawl up his spine.
“Get me Ashna Kapoor,” he ordered, voice low. “Immediately.”
The lights cut out. Every system died. Servers hissed alive in dark
TICK. TOCK.
Zero Hour began–with Ashna’s name glowing in the dark. .
Zero Hour is one of those books that quietly pulls you in, and then refuses to let go. From the very first chapters, there’s a constant sense of urgency, like something is ticking in the background and you’re racing against time alongside the characters.
What I loved most is how tightly written the story feels. The pacing is sharp, the stakes are high, and every chapter adds another layer of tension. Author does a great job of building suspense without dragging the plot. Just when you think you’ve figured things out, the narrative shifts and keeps you guessing.
The characters feel grounded and believable, especially in the way they react under pressure. Their decisions, flaws, and moral dilemmas make the story feel real rather than dramatic for the sake of it. The writing is crisp and straightforward, which works perfectly for a thriller like this, it keeps the focus on the action and the unfolding mystery.
Overall, Zero Hour is a gripping, fast-paced read that’s perfect if you enjoy thrillers packed with tension, twists, and a strong sense of urgency. It’s the kind of book you pick up “just for a chapter” and suddenly realize hours have passed. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves edge-of-the-seat storytelling.
Trust No One. That's the vibe of this book. Fake honeymoon, real spies, stolen secrets, and twist that make you gasp. Ashana and Mr. Mehra? Power duo with major suspicious energy. Just when you think you know the mole—surprise.
This is Book is fast, twisty, and totally binge-worthy. It left me shocked & waiting for the next one.
