First off, I've seen some reviews refer to this as a love triangle with Logan but for me it didn't read that way at all. Logan's behaviour felt predatory and creepy, and he was disrespectful of the relationship between Hanlon and Stone. If one of the MCs had been female, Logan would have been described as harassing or even assaulting them. Why is it that because all three are male that it's been interpreted as a love triangle?!
Other than that, I really liked Hanlon and Stone together and I loved their shared interest in the science behind avalanches. They were so sweet together and I liked how it was the younger of the stepbrothers who had all the experience because I haven't seen much of that.
I'm really enjoying this series though and I'm looking forward to Summit.

This was good and entertaining, but something was missing for me, more like 3.75 but gladly rounded up.
I have to start by saying that the setup (ski patrol, avalanche research) was different and interesting.
I liked both main characters and their story; how Stone was always Hanlon's protector (well, until he wasn't) and how Hanlon always just wanted to be with Stone and make him proud. They were sweet, fun and hot together, but still, for some reason, my feelings and excitement towards them as a couple (or overall toward this book) remained a bit muted.
I also liked Logan's role as a supporting character -I would assume we will get a book about him and a certain bestie 😏
I love it when books portray any kind of disability, PD, or illness, so I really appreciated that Hanlon’s background and life with cerebral palsy was included here. I liked this part of the story, and how Stone took care of him, no questions asked.

When I saw a review of this story on bookstagram and spotted the word stepbrothers — you already know I had no choice but to read it immediately 😤❄️.
And this one genuinely surprised me with how unique it is.
The setting alone sets it apart 🏔️. We meet Stone and Hanlon — estranged stepbrothers who haven't seen each other in years. Stone is a team leader at a ski resort, responsible for predicting avalanches and keeping everyone safe. It's such a specific, atmospheric world that immediately pulled me in. And then Hanlon shows up as the new intern, and suddenly everything Stone thought he had under control starts shifting beneath his feet ❄️🥺.
What truly impressed me was how masterfully the author weaves so many elements together without it ever feeling overcrowded. Disability rep, a love triangle where Stone only ever had eyes for one person, a bi-awakening, and on top of that — genuine suspense and drama that had me holding my breath at times 😤. It all fits together so naturally and with so much care.
If you love the taboo thrill of the stepbrother trope as much as I do, this one is an absolute must-read 🩷. It's bold, it's emotional, and it lingers with you long after you finish.

I think I’m more leaning towards 3.5⭐️ but idk because I did enjoy it and I do love a stepbrother romance. Also, this was set in the Montana mountains and I don’t know a lot about search and rescue / ski patrol / avalanches etc and that part was pretty interesting!
I did like both Stone & Hanlon.
And I kinda hope that there will be a standalone focused on Logan & chase 👀.

It’s about Stone and Hanlon, who are stepbrothers but haven’t been close in years. They end up working together, which forces them back into each other’s lives.
They’ve always looked out for one another, but now they’re starting to notice each other in a different light 👀 Sweat dripping down abs, lingering stares… the attraction is definitely there. Crossing the line has never felt so tempting.
I felt that this story developed in a natural way. Both men came into the dynamic with prior issues with each other, and it was addictive to watch their perceptions change.

Hanlon Winchester, his slutty little glasses and his dick had me in fucking chokehold.
This book was so good!!
Avalanche starts off with Stone Addario being the hard ass (but confused) older (step) brother and Hanlon is the kind of timid but experienced younger brother. They both have past family issues with eachother. There was lots of resentment and inner battles for both MC’s. They have a boss/intern teacher/student dynamic working at Ricochet Ridge.
The second those roles were reversed, and Hanlon took control, my ovaries exploded. Hanlon teaching Stone how to know what he wants in a partner, a relationship and in bed was the best thing I’ve ever read. The possessiveness between them and the way they protect each other was the marshmallow on top of this beautiful, messy Avalanche cookie (it’s a thing, look it up. They’re delicious 😂).
Hanlon and Stone had lots of unfinished business. But don’t worry, they finish…. ALL OVER EACH OTHER. And it’s magical. I mean, that first scene at Stones house was FIRE. AND THEY NEVER EVEN TOOK OFF THEIR BOXERS. And, don’t even get me started on the party bj.
Fucking hot.
The way Hanlon explains things to Stone about his sexuality was EVERYTHING.
Another thing I loved about this book was the premise of Avalanche control and working at a ski resort monitoring weather conditions and conducting back country search and rescue missions. Definitely never read anything like it before. It’s obvious a lot of research went into it and I thoroughly enjoyed learning something new!

Can I get free tickets to ski?” Attitude. And Logan… I hated that poor dude for a minute, then my heart broke for him, then I just wanted him and Chase to fuck in the hospital waiting room 🤷🏻♀️

I have loved every book in this series so far and im sure the next one is going to be just as good!
Stone and Hanlon's relationship starts a little strained but the way it develops into something so much more was so lovely to read. The way they just went with their feelings - other people's thoughts be damned - was refreshing and I loved that they let nothing stand in their way, even their parents.
The avalanche had my heart in my throat for a minute there but I loved that Hanlon was prepared to sacrifice everything for Stone - true love prevails!
The epilogue was the perfect closure for their story and i love their love.
The book had me giggling along with them especially when they sent Lana and James out on an errand that really didn't need two people 🤭
I would also LOVE to see a book starring Chase and Logan!
And the bonus scene - perfection!

This was stepbrother MM romance at its finest DELICIOUS from start to finish.
Life (or let’s be real… Lana, Hanlon’s mother) bringing Stone and Hanlon back into each other’s lives? Oh, she definitely did not think that one through 😂
Stone’s reaction to Hanlon showing up at his workplace was absolute gold. “I don’t want him here”… meanwhile being instantly protective and jealous of every man in Hanlon’s orbit. Totally normal behaviour 🙈
And then we have Stone offering Hanlon his guest room… which, let’s be honest, doesn’t get much use.
I loved when Stone and Hanlon got together. They had each other’s backs and fully embraced the “we’re in love, deal with it” mindset. The scene where they get caught by their parents? Hilarious. Just straight-up “well… yeah” energy.
Hanlon might be the younger one, but he was easily the steadier, stronger presence between them. I loved how his disability was part of him, but never what defined his strength.
The third act was a great surprise, it didn’t revolve around doubts about their relationship, which felt so refreshing.
Also, can we please get more of Chase? Hanlon confesses he’s dating his stepbrother and Chase’s response is basically, “cool… when are we going skiing?” The definition of unbothered 😂
And Logan’s redemption arc? Chef’s kiss.
Definitely one of the best MM stepbrother romances out there.

Avalanche is the third book in Jillian D. Wray’s entertaining Ricochet Ridge series. These books are linked by the shared location of the ski resort, but work completely as standalones. The setting is the same across the books, but each features new characters and there is no story overlap. The real tie is the ski resort and I like the way that Wray has developed the setting in a way that brings some familiarity to the books, but keeps them independent.
One thing I also really enjoyed here is learning more about their jobs on ski patrol. Stone is in charge of the avalanche division and they monitor the snow conditions and blast the mountain to trigger controlled avalanches and prevent dangerous and unexpected avalanches from risking lives. Hanlon is focused more on the scientific and research end, studying weather patterns and testing the snow to help figure out when conditions are ripe for avalanches. I found it all really interesting and it added a nice side element to the story to explore the work they do for the resort.

I was so excited for the third installment in the Ricochet Ridge series, and it absolutely delivered. Stone and Hanlon were such sweet characters—I loved their dynamic, and their chemistry felt deep and genuine from the start.
One of my favorite parts of their story was the way Stone was so protective of Hanlon without ever limiting him because of his disability. It struck such a great balance and made their relationship feel even more meaningful. And Hanlon? Total sweetheart with a sunshine personality… who also takes charge in the bedroom? Yeah, I swooned. Add in the piercings and the slutty glasses, and he was easily my favorite.
Their relationship developed in a way that felt really natural and soft, which I appreciated. I especially loved the forced proximity from their jobs and how Stone pushed Hanlon to step outside his comfort zone while still always looking out for him. Watching Stone slowly realize his feelings for Hanlon were more than brotherly was also so fun to read.
Once they decided to be together, I loved that they didn’t let outside opinions shake them—it only made them stronger as a couple. And that avalanche scene? I was fully on edge when Hanlon went to find Stone. I was completely invested in how it would all play out and rooting hard for their HEA.
I’ll admit, the mom and Logan got on my nerves a bit, but I did like how their roles ultimately reinforced the bond between Stone and Hanlon. I was also convinced Logan and Chase would be next after their hospital room scene… but I was wrong!
The pacing felt spot on, and I was honestly a little sad when it ended. You can tell the author did their research too—the details about living in snow country, safety, and weather conditions were super interesting and added a lot to the story.
If you’re into tropes like stepbrothers, dislike-to-lovers, disability rep, slow burn, soulmates, forbidden relationships, and low angst, you’ll definitely want to pick this one up.

I truly loved Avalanche and devoured it in less than a day. This MM romance had the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and angsty, with just enough taboo to keep things interesting as our MMCs are estranged stepbrothers.
The chemistry was so good, the emotional tension really worked for me, and I loved watching their relationship develop despite all the complications and history between them. It definitely had that “just one more chapter” feeling where I kept needing to know what would happen next.
If you love MM romance with angst, family tension, spice, and plenty of feelings, I’d absolutely recommend picking this one up. I’ll definitely be continuing with the rest of the Ricochet Ridge series… and surely I can’t be the only one hoping for a Chase x Logan book?? 👀

I really enjoyed this one. It was definitely feeling-inducing. And kind of scary at times. But the relationship felt real and their bond was truly special. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love the setting, reading it now, almost in the summer, makes me miss winter. I'm really excited for the next book in this series!!

I was so looking forward to meeting stepbrothers, Stone and Hanlon, and they didn’t disappoint. I adored them both, though okay, I’ll admit it took me a moment to warm up to Stone, who was a bit of a grumpy a**hole when we first meet him and not particularly welcoming to Hanlon (though to be fair on him, he does have good reason).
By the end of the book though, I would have fought for Stone to the end of the earth. He’s got some complicated big feelings about the past, but you can rely on him to always do the right thing by Hanlon with the other man’s wishes being his top priority. Once he’s over the initial surprise of Hanlon’s arrival, he begins to show his true self more.
I did melt every time we heard about anything Stone did for Hanlon as a youngster. He’s always been in Hanlon’s corner, encouraging and giving him the freedom to try new things on his own terms. Stone gave Hanlon the chance to grow and thrive, finding out what works best for him rather than holding him back from doing things due to his cerebral palsy like everyone else does. I mean, honestly, how could Stone not win you over after knowing that?
And Hanlon surprised me too, in so many ways. I related to his stubbornness in a big way. Hanlon is so much wiser than his years, and I loved his attitude towards Stone’s demisexuality. The younger man makes his stepbrother feel comfortable in his own skin, encouraging him to follow his feelings rather than worrying about labelling his sexuality.
My favourite thing about these two is how 100% committed they are to each other, without hesitation. There’s no wavering about whether the other is who they want; they’re solid in their commitment and there’s absolutely no doubts about loyalty. I adored that they both stand together adamantly against their parents and to anyone else who may not support them.
Oh my gosh, MY HEART WAS IN MY THROAT during those chapters! Talk about getting the emotions flowing. I’ll admit there were some tears.
It may have seemed like it was these two against the world for a second, but they are rocks for each other, and I loved that on every level. Seeing how far Hanlon is willing to go for Stone, and vice versa, just showed me everything I needed to know about whether these two should be endgame.

Recensione: Questo libro aveva tutte le carte in regola per ricevere 5 stelle ma c'è stata una cosa, anzi una persona, che mi ha fatto arrabbiare tantissimo e mi ha rovinato l'umore per tutta la lettura.
Questo romanzo vede protagonisti Stone e Hanlon che sono due fratellastri in quanto i loro genitori si sono sposati tra di loro. Stone è più grande di qualche anno rispetto ad Hanlon e lo ha letteralmente visto crescere. Dopo un buon inizio tra i due bambini, con il tempo Stone si allontana e non appena diventa maggiorenne va via per il College e non torna più a casa, facendo soffrire Hanlon. Per quattro lunghi anni i due non avranno alcun rapporto se non attraverso i loro genitori che cercano in tutti i modi di farli diventare perlomeno amici. Hanlon per questioni di studio va a lavorare nello stesso posto tra le montagne di Stone. Dopo un primo inzio un po' in salita, il rapporto tra i due cresce sempre di più e devo ammettere che ho amato lo slow burn tra i due. Ho amato anche le descrizioni del paesaggio, le scene spicy sono ben scritte ed è davvero un ottimo libro...che mi ha fatto arrabbiare così tanto che ho dovuto abbassare di una stella per le sensazioni che ho provato da un certo punto del libro in poi. Stone è un uomo solo che non ha molti rapporti con le altre persone ma un giorno su un'applicazione di incontri fa match con un uomo e i due si incontrano. L'uomo dell'appuntamento però è il suo capo elicotterista, Logan. Mi è stato anche simpatico all'inizio, vedere come flirtava con Stone (e poi con Hanlon) e il suo personaggio mi piaceva davvero tanto. Quello che ho odiato di Logan è stato come ha gestito la scoperta della relazione tra Stone e Hanlon. Ok, ti piace Stone, mi dispiace per te, ma se lui non ti vuole, che deve fare? Invece insultiamo tutti e comportiamoci come un bambino di cinque anni (perché verso la fine dice e fa cose che davvero mi ha fatto imbestialire!) Gli unici che potevano avere una reazione sconsiderata sulla relazione dei due protagonisti sono i genitori (e loro ne hanno tutto il diritto!)

Avalanche is the third book in the Ricochet Ridge series. The main characters are Hanlon and Stone, two step-brothers. I really loved this book; the author did an awesome job describing the settings where the story takes place. I feel like I was right there with the characters; I truly loved their relationship. The love story was perfect, the slow burn well described and I devoured the book because I wanted to see how they fell in love. Stone went through an amazing glow up. I didn’t like him at first, but as I kept reading and discovered more about him, especially how he interacted with Hanlon and how he cared for him it made me love him. I also loved Hanlon; I found his independence at all costs to be very well portrayed. Hanlon and Stone truly have a special bond that began when they were children but grew over time. I think they really are a beautiful couple.
I didn’t like Logan because of the things he said and his behavior. I was hoping for his redemption at the end of the book, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen.
I recommend this book if you like forbidden love stories, with step-siblings who become lovers, but especially if you enjoy stories set in beautiful places like snowy mountains.

This is a 307-page Medium Paced, Forbidden Lovers, Stepbrothers, Enemies-to-Lovers, Disability Representation MM Romance. This is the third book in the Ricochet Ridge series, which takes place after the first two books on the same mountain but shows what goes into keeping the resort safe for everyone.
Written in alternating chapters dual first person POV, this book will automatically make you feel the tension and angry between our MCs. Stone is the head of the department that helps those on the mountain in need of rescue and, also detonates avalanches in a controlled environment before they happen naturally. Hanlon, Stone’s younger stepbrother, shows up with little warning to complete an internship in avalanche studies. They haven’t seen each other in a while as Stone practically ran away from home when he was old enough and didn’t visit much.
Their story was tough for me to read. I really struggled through it until about the 55% mark. I wasn’t feeling the vibes of their connection well in the beginning at all. It was very off putting to me, and honestly still don’t understand why. It wasn’t the stepbrother trope, I don’t have a problem with that taboo subject. I just can’t put my finger on it, which is irritating me to no end. The formula just wasn’t mixing for me.
I can tell you that the author did such a good job with the disability of one of her MCs. As someone who is disabled, no matter what disability is used in a book, I always feel seen, even if I don’t have that specific issue myself.
The spice was good but mild. It had a Teach ME trope to it all around. The author did well with our MCs with using labels and orientations and how she described them. I think once we got to this point, their chemistry and formula really worked, but it took a minute to get there.
The ensemble had a lot of effect on the story, from the team at the resort, and family and personal friends away from work, no matter where our MCs turned, someone was there. All of the secrets and attention mixed together added a lot of aggression, which added an edge to their story. I think this may be the first time I have read a Stepbrother’s trope with the reaction from the ensemble that was used. I enjoyed the difference that the author gave instead of going the easy route.
All in all, this one wasn’t easy for me. I stalled out in the beginning, having to put it down to breathe, before picking it back up again. I enjoyed the end but getting there was a struggle. So to conclude, this one wasn’t my favorite, however, I would still recommend reading it if not to complete the series (which I am enjoying the world the author has created), but because, this may give insight to a new book in the future that could be a new series from the author.

Stone and Hanlon??? I’m done. They’ve taken up permanent residence in my brain.
The tension in this book is unreal. Four years of silence sitting between them like packed ice, every conversation cracking just a little more until everything starts to shift. You can feel it building, slow and suffocating, like standing on a mountain knowing something underneath you is about to give way. And when it does?? Yeah. Good luck recovering.
Stone had me in a chokehold. The protectiveness? The internal conflict? The way he keeps trying to shove his feelings into a locked box labeled “absolutely not” while his actions scream the exact opposite?? Sir, please. Be serious. I loved how rough around the edges he was, how he tried to do the “right” thing even when it was eating him alive.
And Hanlon… oh my heart. He’s not written as fragile or pitiful, which I LOVED. He’s strong, stubborn, and fully his own person, but you can still feel the weight of everything he’s been through. The way he sees Stone, the way he needs him but also refuses to be defined by him… it’s layered and raw and honestly beautiful.
The disability rep felt thoughtful and grounded, not just thrown in for drama. It actually shaped who Hanlon is without reducing him to it, which made their connection feel even more meaningful.
And the romance?? SLOW. BURN. Like painfully slow in the best way. Every glance, every brush of hands, every moment of “we shouldn’t” just made it worse (better). The forbidden aspect adds this constant edge of tension that never lets up. You KNOW it’s complicated. You KNOW it’s risky. And yet you’re sitting there like… go on 👀
Also the mountain setting?? It’s not just a backdrop, it’s basically a character. The avalanche metaphor running through the whole story is chef’s kiss. The danger outside mirrors everything going on between them, and it just builds this constant sense of pressure that had me devouring pages like I was running out of oxygen.
And when everything finally starts to break?? Emotional carnage. I was stressed, invested, slightly feral.
But the HEA? Worth it. Completely worth it. I came out the other side emotionally wrecked but satisfied, like surviving a storm you low-key want to experience again.
Stone and Hanlon are easily favourites. No hesitation. No competition. They hurt me and healed me in the same breath and I would absolutely put myself through it again.
If you want forbidden, angsty, slow-burn romance with actual depth and stakes, this one delivers HARD. Just don’t expect to walk away unscathed.

Oh wow, I'm learning things everyday. As someone who lives on a tropical country, there's no snow here so I am amazed with how much science it goes with those working in a ski resort, or even triggering some avalanche to keep people safe.
Anyways, I read book 2 last month and it was a fun to see different perspective of people working in snow and this is no different. This one deals with a much different side of things, with much more higher stakes.
We saw glimpses of Stone in the previous book, which honestly intrigued me. Then I saw the tropes of this book, and I was even more intrigued. Now, I have high standards with the MM stepbrother trope, so I went into this book not expecting much.
Here's the real kicker, this book surprised me in a good way. 50% in, I was just meh with all of it. Sure, there's great banter, there's simmering tension and the chemistry was palpable but I was not really sold on them yet. However, that changed as I go along the book.
I usually have a poker face when reading, like you don't know what goes on my mind. This book made me say WTF out loud, seven times. That's a huge amount coming from me. Safe to say, I did enjoy my reading experience.
Characters-wise, I love both characters especially Hanlon. He's described as Clark Kent and I am here for it. I like Stone as he's the confused demisexual representation which I appreciate. There's history between them that stemmed from childhood so I do understand that they need to communicate to overcome that obstacle, which they did.
The second half of this book was honestly so good. This becomes my favorite part as their attraction became apparent, the higher the stakers were. With them hiding their relationship, the more it became forbidden. Oh to be a fly on the wall on all those scenes because it would've made good drama. I was gasping out loud and having visceral reactions that I love it.
I probably yapped for so long, but safe to say I will be reading the next one. Looking forward to reading more Jillian D. Wray books!
P.S. I also think there's something being hinted here and I was rooting for them to be a couple so I might keep an eye out on that.

Oh wow, I'm learning things everyday. As someone who lives on a tropical country, there's no snow here so I am amazed with how much science it goes with those working in a ski resort, or even triggering some avalanche to keep people safe.
Anyways, I read book 2 last month and it was a fun to see different perspective of people working in snow and this is no different. This one deals with a much different side of things, with much more higher stakes.

This was a really sweet story. Stone touched my heart deeply. I could feel just how pushed aside he was because of Hanlon's diagnosis. I honestly think their parents did a terrible job when it comes to adapting kids to a new family configuration. Of course they loved both of them, but Stone's pain was invisible to them, and he had to take the punches in all situations. To be completely sincere, I wish he'd had more of a redemption from both parents. He deserved to tell them exactly how he'd felt when he was a kid and have been more reassured about their love for him 🥺
And sweet Hanlon, I loved him so much. Such a strong person, trying to overcome his difficulties and widening his limits. Fighting for his independency. I also love how he stood up for Stone at all times, but also never accepted his bullshit at the start. They completed each other so well. Their will to take care for each other, while also helping the other grow as a person. They brought up the best in each other.
Logan and Chase were also such a good treat, and I hope we get their story as well. I felt SO sorry for Logan. Yes, he was an asshole a few times there, but when he tells Stone his side of the story? Man, my heart broke for him. He is amazing and deserves to find someone who'll love him so deeply, they'd be willing to risk their own life for him. And Chase, such an adorable friend. Right from the start, I thought he actually did have some sort of curiosity when it came to Hanlon. Like he kept some truth behind his jokes. And I believe him seeing Han and Stone together awakened something good in him. Let's see where all that goes 🤭
And oh my God, I was sure what happened near the end was going to end, but I never expected to feel so much. I shed I tear. Especially during the Those two love each other SO much. It drips from the pages, from every word. They are extremely romantic—and horny for each other LOL
I can't recommend this series enough. It's easily becoming one of my comfort readings. Can't wait for Summit 💕

Jillian has once again worked her magic and given us an amazing story with complex characters that will have you vested in this story from beginning. Stone is grumpy but very caring, observant, protective and exceptional at his job. And Hanlon is smart, hardworking, sweet, and determined not to let his medical condition get in his way to achieving his dream job. When Stone finds out that Hanlon will be working with him as an intern, his feelings of resentment towards Hanlon comes back rushing with vengeance and Hanlon too is not happy with the situation. But once they start working together, that resentment between them slowly starts to fade away as they see each other in new light. Hanlon gets to witness Stone in action where Stone takes charge of a situation and resolves it quickly, effectively and efficiently and Stone gets to know Hanlon as smart, confident and passionate man who is tenacious and doesn’t let his medical condition weigh him down. Stone’s protective and caring nature towards Hanlon becomes apparent when Hanlon struggles with his condition and his fear of flying. Working together makes them notice each other physically, and their attraction becomes apparent when they feel jealous of others interacting with them. It takes them a minute to act on their attraction because of the taboo nature of it but when they do act, the chemistry between them is explosive. Along with exploring this new attraction between them, they also get to know each other again as adults and this makes them come close. It was sweet to read how they fought for their relationship and didn’t let the opinions of others affect them. Stone and Hanlon definitely make an amazing couple with how attune they are towards each other. With that said, I will highly recommend this book for its fantastic story and characters.

One of the strongest aspects of the story is how emotionally understandable both characters feel throughout the progression of the relationship.
Stone’s resentment toward Hanlon and his father felt believable because much of his emotional pain stems from feeling overlooked and emotionally neglected while believing his father prioritized Hanlon’s needs over his own.
At the same time, Hanlon’s emotional journey also felt incredibly authentic. His desire to push beyond his physical limitations and prove that he could still function “normally” emotionally resonated strongly throughout the story.
As someone with personal experience navigating medical challenges and being special needs, I especially connected with the emotional aspects surrounding Hanlon’s struggle for independence and the pressure to feel “normal” again after life-changing circumstances.
The emotional progression between Stone and Hanlon becomes even stronger as Stone slowly steps back into a protective role within Hanlon’s life, though now layered with much more emotional complexity and vulnerability between them.

Hanlon is wary of seeing his older stepbrother again. They were never super close, and he always felt like a burden to Stone due to his mild cerebral palsy. He's also a little angry at Stone, considering the second he turned 18, he left Vermont and moved all the way to the other side of the country, barely speaking to Han again.
Now Stone is his boss, and their animosity makes it hard to work together. But for some reason, even though Stone has never really felt an attraction to anyone before, his stubborn, sexy stepbrother is awakening all sorts of feelings inside him.
But the two men know that there are so many things stacked against them: their family ties, the fact that Stone is Han's boss, and so much more. But unfortunately, the heart wants what the heart wants, and this is a risk that they're willing to take.
