WALKING

Rate this book
A humorous look at over-mechanization in suburbia. Coming from the city, where people walk everywhere, it's surprising to find that out of the city, in the developments, physical effort must have no useful purpose, the jogger must not be actually getting anywhere, and no one ever leaves the house except by car. Machines have taken over, and global warming and pollution are not a factor in judging whether to take the car or to walk or bike, because people feel they don't have a choice.Of course they have a choice!
