*ARC Review*

I’m a sucker for a good workplace romance! This book definitely delivers with everything that you’d want… angst, sexual tension, emotional blows, swoon worthy moments and moments that have you laughing at their banter!

Worth is a single dad, he loves and protects his teenage daughter fiercely! He’s built a wall around his heart, he gives grumpy CEO, going through women like it’s a sport.. except when he’s at home with Bri, and his softer side comes out. So you better watch out when his bitter ex comes back in the picture and threatens the one thing that matters most.

Mya is determined, ambitious, feisty and doesn’t take no for an answer. She’s worked hard to get where she is, never relying on anyone else, she’ll figure something out. As long as she can make her late father proud, prove her worth. When push comes to shove, she does what she can to help, even if her heart and head are in constant battle.

Worth & Mya are electric. The air shifts when they are near each other, the anticipation that much thicker. When the “f**k it” moment comes, they collide into each other. It’s a chemistry that neither of them saw coming.

Their story is not without heartbreak, inner turmoil and a push and pull burn that is slow to start. But what you also get is heart. It’s not just about attraction. Their connection is raw, it’s hopeful and it’s honest. The writing is beautiful and really pulls you in. They become each other’s safe spaces, when that space is then taken away, learning to choose themselves away from the noise of the world.

Choosing each other in the light of day.. it’s the easiest choice they’ve made.

Not just for now.
Just until forever.

Happy reading

Just Until Forever
The push and pull of equally stubborn main characters Mya and Worth made the tension perfect in this slow burn workplace romance. Blue collar billionaire and single father Worth built his empire while raising his daughter. Now his estranged wife is back and demanding custody. Worth’s plan? Find a woman to marry him to convince a judge his play boy ways are in the past and he’s the perfect family man.

In walks his new employe! I loved the sassy FMC Mya! She is smart, fierce and independent. Though it is lust at first sight, she wants the career she worked hard for and knows how easily a woman’s reputation can be destroyed by office politics. Her mother is one of my favorite side characters! Her advice is gold!

When it becomes obvious that they aren’t pretending anymore and the few in are becoming real the heat turns up but so does the angst. The slow build is worth the wait while these two break through their past trauma and find their forever!

A little more about the book:

Okay, this had everything I look for in a romance. I flew through this book. It had tension, spice, tender moments, and an FMC who wasn't going to take any sh*t. I love a woman with an attitude 👏🏻 I will NEVER get tired of a billionaire romance. If I read enough of them I could one day manifest it into reality 🙏🏻 This series has been amazing so far, and after reading that snippet from book 2 I am DESPERATE!

Mya is on a mission to get her dream job and she deserves it. She knows what she wants and she will do whatever it takes to get it, and she will never take anything lying down. Not at the start anyway... This woman has a feisty attitude and isn't afraid to put Worth in his place which makes great entertainment for me. She is so strong willed, but also caring, thoughtful and ready to protect the ones she loves.
The thing I love the most about a grump MMC is how he acts around the one he loves. The way Worth yearns for her had me squealing. This man was ready to get on his knees for Mya (and he did 👀). And the way he was with his daughter was a huge green flag. Was he a bit of a playboy? Yes. Did he give up the moment he started pursuing Mya? Hell yes. He was going all in baby. All Worth wanted was to take care of the two women in his life that he loved and that tugged on the old heart strings a little bit.

You will devour this book if you love,
- Fake Dating
- CEO x Employee
- Dislike to Lovers
- Age Gap
- Found Family
- Single Dad
- Marriage of Convenience
- Touch her and d*e from his death stare

The tension in this book is DELICIOUS. The banter, the yearning, the whimpering (we love a mmc who whimpers 😏) was out of this world. There is a third act break up but it’s 100% justified and needed.

I will definitely be on the look out for book two bc I just love these grumpy men.

*taps mic* is this thing on?

to preface, i really hate that i'm writing this review, but alas. i typically love and adore books written by this author, but this one missed the mark so hard for me.

!!! this review contains lots of spoilers !!!

the very first chapter opens with the mmc having a sexual encounter with someone who is not the fmc. i was willing to look past that until his "thing" with her became an overarching part of the book. the way that the mmc describes women and relationships in the first chapter (the first PAGE, mind you) really made me feel uneasy and put off instantly. since i was already set off by these things, other little things began to jump out at me in a big way. chapter 11 mentions that the mmc uses a PI to "check in" on his ex-wife even though he doesn't keep in contact with her. all we know about the ex-wife thus far is that she's unreliable and not fit to be his daughter's primary guardian, so utilizing a PI seems to be a bit of a stretch, especially because she isn't described as dangerous. chapter 12 skips ahead a few MONTHS after the fmc gets hired at the mmc's company, which i found very odd. there are a few of these questionable time skips throughout the book, and i think that including them eliminates some very critical plot points and exposition, but that's just me. since the mmc has a certain...reputation...one of the points of the book is for him to prove that he's not a playboy and that he's a good dad to his daughter. this was kinda weird to me considering he's a billionaire with his own company and seemingly broody, so it just didn't make sense to me that he would care about his reputation. we discover that the only reason he starts to give a shit about what people think of him is to continue to have full custody over his daughter since his ex-wife is attempting to take him to court over some ridiculous bs (more on that later).

the fmc and the mmc come from very different backgrounds, which i definitely appreciate, but the fmc wasn't written in a way that connects to her background and the situation she's facing--struggling financially. there are a few moments where the mmc insists that the fmc spends his money, which is all well and good, but the fmc wasn't as hesitant to spend it as i thought she'd be (considering she's struggling with her own finances). also, the mmc had an attitude about her spending his money? which is definitely weird, especially because he wanted her to spend it...?

the connection between the mmc and fmc was veryyyy insta-lusty, which can work in some instances, but i don't think it works for this book. the mmc became extremely possessive and jealous over the fmc despite BARELY knowing her. the two were glorified strangers and he decided to develop a strange possessive alpha male claim over her. seriously, he was getting pissy because she was interacting with one of her male COWORKERS(???). this coworker is continuously brought up, and the mmc continues to act all high and mighty and jealous about him interacting with the fmc, and i cannot begin to explain how obnoxious that was. one of my leastttt favourite parts of this book was the fundraiser held for women's shelters. the mmc gives a speech at said fundraiser, also where he sees the fmc interacting with a guy, to which he adds to his speech "we must remember that no matter how tempting it may be, stepping outside of those boundaries risks fueling the very kind of harassment this foundation is committed to ending". now, i don't know about anyone else, but this line felt extremely gross to me. it felt like he was blaming women for being harassed, and i cannot stress enough how inappropriate that is considering the type of event they were attending.

when the mmc introduces the marriage of convenience to the fmc, it seemed like he did it on a whim and that he really didn't want to do it at all, which i found very odd. the fmc was very much not down for it, even though he offered to pay off her debts and loans. the fmc started off by appearing very firm in her beliefs and determined about certain things, but i feel like her personality completely changed where the mmc was concerned, and certianly throughout the book after the first 25%. she quite literally said "i don't need to be rescued by a man" and then accepted his offer...speaking of the fmc, there are several incidents where she is trying to explain very serious things to the mmc and he just doesn't listen. considering they are from different backgrounds, this is very important. the fmc plainly tells the mmc that their arrangement won't end well BECAUSE of their differences, and his reponse is "you talk too fucking much". how romantic, right? after that, they have a seuxal encounter that felt very gross to me. this scene felt so weird to me because she relented after he got on his knees for her, and idk about y'all, but if anyone ever told me i talk too much after trying to talk to someone about something serious and then tried to make up for it with sex, i'd be livid.

back to the financial aspect, the mmc mentions writing a prenup and says "it will state clearly that i'll cover your school loans and any debt you've accumulated up until the marriage. but anything you rack up after is on you. i don't want to be responsible for any reckless spending". i had to sit in silence for a minute after reading this part because i thought it was incredibly disrespectful. he mentioned earlier in the book that his ex-wife spent his money on blah blah blah and he didn't like that, which is fine and whatever, but he's assuming the fmc is going to be the same way? and knowing she's already struggling with money and THIS is what you say to her? absolutely not. about halfway through the book, the mmc insists that the fmc's car sucks and she can't drive it, so he offers one of his four (4) cars to her and explains what they are and how fast they go (ew). again, there's no consideration for how she might feel by these comments and seeing his wealth. oh, and when he's describing one of his cars, he says "you could fit your whole life in there if you needed to" which was...rude? maybe i'm looking too deeply into that comment, but it felt loaded because of her financial situation.

anyway, the mmc is supposed to have a 13-year-old daughter, but he honestly talks to her like she's a toddler, which i hated so bad. his daughter is also kind of written like a toddler, which didn't help her case at all. in my opinion, the mmc uses his daughter as an excuse to be a dick to the fmc. he quite literally said "i don't have the luxury of romance right now. i have a daughter to protect. and if i have to look like an asshole to do so, then so be it". the thing is that he's not just looking like an asshole, he's being one.

moving on, they end up in paris to get married. the mmc gives the fmc his credit card and then makes a stink over how much money she spends even though HE GAVE IT TO HER and said "charge whatever you need to my card". she did spend a significant amount of money, but again, he gave her the card and he wanted her to spend it. on the flip side of that, i feel like the fmc could have been a little more hesitant to spend his money because she's struggling herself, but i digress. while in paris, the mmc doesn't ask the fmc's opinion or permission about anything, especially their sleeping arrangements, and i didn't like that at all. if the marraige of convenience was HIS idea, he should be respectful and value the fmc's feelings, wants, and needs, at the very least. oh, and when she explicitly tells him he needs space, he borderline requires her to sleep in the same bed as him. the kicker is the somnophilia after this interaction. it felt very gross considering how she was telling him what she wanted and trying to set boundaries, and then he went ahead and touched her while she was sleeping, despite never having a conversation about whether that was okay with her or not. their paris trip is cut short because his ex-wife shows up at his home and tries to talk to their daughter when he's not there. he foregoes everything and flies back home an hour later lol.

there's a 4 month time skip in chapter 38 where the ex-wife is nowhere to be heard or seen even though a biiiiig part of this book is dependent on the fact that she's taking the mmc to court over custody of their daughter. four months is a long time between 1) chapters and 2) hearing nothing of someone who has a big influence throughout the book. four months after they get married is also when the mmc meets the fmc's parents for the first time, so that felt odd as well.

there are a few instances where it's said that the mmc truly sees the fmc, but i beg to differ. if this were the case, he would listen to and hear her when she's talking to him, be considerate of the fact that they come from different backgrounds, and not make digs at the fact that she's struggling financially. when their arrangment is seemingly coming to a close, the mmc treats the fmc so horribly. she offers to help if he needs anything and tries to be there for him, but he's extremely cold and distant toward her. he insists that he doesn't know what she wants from him anymore, which is crazy to say because he was the one to come up with their arrangement in the first place and HE persued HER. she also tried to tell him exactly what she wanted and didn't want, to which he practically ignored anything and everything she said. he essentially accuses her of using him when he is full well using her. in chapter 44, the fmc says that it feels real, to which the mmc says it is, but then in the next chapter the fmc says "meeting your family makes things blurred" as if he didn't meet her family and they didn't just establish that their arrangement became real...

when the fmc finally does meet the mmc's parents, the arrangement they made blows up in their faces and the meaning behind it gets leaked on social media, and the fmc just...leaves. she flies back home from his parent's house without saying a single word to him, and it's two months until they speak again. the cherry on top of radio silence for two months is that the first interaction they have after this long is phone sex that the mmc initiates. when they finally see each other again and reconcile, the mmc doesn't know that the fmc is going to be showing up to the restaurant he is at with his daughter, and he's described to be "checking out" a woman (who he doesn't know is the fmc yet) and he says to himself "i immediately want to smack myself becayse what the hell am i doing checking out another woman". and you know what? i thought the exact same thing because he is all bent out of shape over the fmc, so why would he be checking out someone else? since he was described to be a playboy since the beginning of the book, i literally thought "once a playboy, always a playboy", which was incredibly disappointing.

i will say that i did enjoy the side characters, which is why this is getting two stars instead of one. unfortunately, i was not invested in the main characters like i thought i would be, and the story itself fell flat despite how excited i was for it. like i said, i typically really enjoy this author's writing and other books, so i'm hoping that this was just a fluke and the next book will be better.

thank you to the author and luna literary management for the e-arc.

I am an absolute slut for an age gap, workplace romance! Just Until Forever had that and more! The banter between Worth and Mya is relentless, I ate that shit up! Seeing a grumpy CEO like Worth fall for the sassy younger woman he can’t stop thinking about is exactly what I look for in these kinds of romances.

“It’s reckless. The one thing I told myself I wouldn’t do. But the second Mya’s soft lips meet mine, every ounce of logic I’ve been clinging to goes up in flames.”

What started as a marriage of convenience between Worth and Mya turned into more than either of them could have ever imagined. Worth needs the stability that having a wife offers to secure custody of his 13 year old daughter and Mya needs financial freedom to help with the debt she has accrued while pursing her design degree. Worth is seen as a playboy, so when his ex wife petitions for custody he finds himself in a bind. The one woman he shouldn’t want becomes the only one who can help him. Worth worships the ground Mya walks on and when they get married a whole new possessive side of him comes out.

“The words don’t feel real. Mya might’ve married me out of obligation, to help me save face, but that doesn’t change the fact that she wears my ring now. That she signed my name beside hers. That she’s mine in ways I can’t quite define.”

I can’t say enough good things about the banter between these two. The attraction between them is instant, and forbidden when Worth becomes her boss. The sexual tension builds and builds, even before the marriage proposition. Mya is constantly pushing Worth’s buttons creating the most delicious push and pull, slow burn.

“She’s such a brat. And God help me, I’d love nothing more than to bend her over and punish her for it.”

Mya is fierce, resilient and so incredibly feisty. I love that she didn’t take any of Worth’s shit and put him into his place when needed. On top of her brattiness (in Worth’s opinion) she is incredibly caring and thoughtful. She wants to have a relationship with Worth’s daughter Brianna. And over time even though she struggles she lets her walls come down. Worth may seem like a cold, aloof CEO who only cares about money and women but there is a whole other side to him. He’s kind and considerate, the moment Mya becomes his wife all bets are off. The line between what is real and fake blurs. He wants more and more… Mya is torn because she cares deeply for not only him but his daughter too. But she struggles because of her past to let someone fully in. The ending was literal perfection. I giggled so loudly when these two are finally reunited. There’s so much angst, emotional growth and filthy, delicious spice. Worth is a man who likes to eat and Mya is woman who flourishes under his praise and control.

“You look devastatingly beautiful, Kitten. Like every dream I didn’t know I had.”

3.75 rounded up.

I hate to do this…truly sad.

This was so good. I deadass was giggling and shit because the workplace romance and the tension were immaculate. The relationship built naturally and I felt everything they did.

Worth was that guy you want to hate but can’t. He was hurt and protecting himself but couldn’t help his attraction for Mya. This man won me over and kept my heart. His love for Brianna and Mya was pure and genuine. He was so soft and caring. But he could also get filthy with that mouth. He truly gave me everything I could have asked for.

Mya…she disappointed me. From the beginning of the book she had her morals, her character development went from fighting her feelings to being in a happy relationship with Worth and little Brianna…only to go and turn into a scared and dumb woman. Using her trauma as a shield to keep running made me lose all the respect I had for her, not because I didn’t understand her fear. But because even after having them laid out and determining she wanted to have that relationship with Worth, she still chose to let fear win and run for months from what she wanted. Making both her, Worth and Brianna sad.

And it went on till the end. Where she practically had to be convinced to give into her own feelings. I don’t want to be harsh but it truly diminished everything that had been building between them.

How to fuck up a book with the most pointless third act break up ever. That’s all I could think from 85% on till the end. Really? Was it necessary to have Mya be a coward that runs from her feelings and doesn’t have a mature conversation for months? Was she really so in love with Worth and Brianna that she up and left without looking back? Honestly, that fucked all of Mya’s character development. Truly made me dislike her after having fallen in love with her attitude and personality from the beginning.

I can’t say this is a bad book, but it went from a total five star, to a 3.75 in the span of a chapter and then kept getting worse the more time passed.

I can’t even focus on the positives of the book, and there were tons in that first 85%, because of how bad the last part made me feel.

All opinions are my own, thank you Luna and the author, for this arc.

Quotes:

"Quiet, Kitten, We vouldn't want anyone hearing how good your husband fucks you."

ARC Review

Firstly, thank you so much to the author and Luna Literary for the advanced copy though I did end up reading after release so I borrowed on KU.

I wanted to love this. I really did because this story has a lot of the tropes I love:

Age Gap
Fake Dating
Billionaire CEO
Boss x Employee
Single Dad
Marriage of Convenience

But I think where this fell short for me was the man of the hour himself -- Worth. I love a grumpy, alphahole as much as the next person but rather than me feeling all gooey and "I can fix him" for our MMC, he grated on my fucking nerves if I'm being 100% honest. From the jump, the way the book opened up, it left such a bitter taste in my mouth and gave me the ick. It's not the act itself it was just how he came off portrayed that had me like hold up, THIS is our man? I learned that while I don't mind a reformed playboy trope...I don't much care for actually reading that playboy era. And for someone who values control as much as Worth does, I found it absolutely crazy that he was absolutely fine shitting where he ate and it was not with our FMC AT FIRST. That's probably the only time I'll allow it so the fact that he'd been hooking up with others prior to getting with the FMC and then with someone in the same office as her while also lusting the fuck after the FMC...yeah no. The only thing I loved about Worth was his relationship with his daughter and the fact that despite how stretched thin work had him, he prioritized his kid. The chemistry between him and Mya was there but it felt a bit too heavy leaning towards insta-lust territory...which I don't mind but it just felt forced upon us and inorganic. Also, the way she talked to her "superior" was absolutely fucking wild and like how did that fly? Like she really just called him an asshole to his face...whaaa? I had every intention of finishing, but I read some of the reviews with a few spoilers and it honestly didn't sound like the time investment would be worth it for me personally. These weren't characters I felt invested in whatsoever, Worth was not an MMC I'm drooling over and the thought of picking the story back up felt more dreadful than anything. I did like the author's writing, though, and I might check out the first book since its a novella I think. If the third book is about Grif I'll be checking that one out too probably because I think there were some hints to what it might be and it's another trope I love so we shall see. This one, unfortunately--well this couple, to be precise--was just a no for me.

I am an absolute sucker for a single dad, and this book delivered EVERYTHING. From the emotional gut punches to the swoony, spicy moments, it had me completely hooked. There were scenes that made me laugh, scenes that made my chest ache, and side characters who added so much life to the story. The villains? Despicable in all the right ways. The favorites? Completely unforgettable.

Worth is the ultimate grumpy, commanding billionaire—intense, protective, and secretly so soft where it counts. Watching him unravel over Mya was pure magic. He falls hard, and he falls first, and let me tell you… it is glorious. The way he shows up for her, both personally and professionally, had me swooning nonstop. Supportive, obsessed, and a little bossy? Yes please.

Mya is fiercely independent and determined to succeed on her own terms, which I respected so much. At times I wanted to grab her by the shoulders and beg her to just say what she was feeling, but I also understood why she guarded her heart the way she did. Her scars and Worth’s baggage collide in such a raw, believable way. Their separation hurt, especially since I’m not usually a fan of long gaps before a happily ever after, but here it felt earned and true to who they were.

And can we talk about Brianna? The bond between Mya and Brianna was instant and heart-melting. Their relationship felt genuine and full of warmth, and it added such a beautiful layer to the romance. Seeing that connection grow alongside Worth and Mya’s love story made everything even more special.

The chemistry? Off the charts. The tension had me practically yelling at them to stop resisting. That bathroom scene? Unforgettable. The spice was chef’s kiss, but it never overshadowed the emotional depth. It balanced heat, heartbreak, humor, and healing so well.

Marriage of convenience plus single dad plus billionaire romance? It sounds like a dream combo—and somehow this book made it even better than I imagined. The grand gesture after everything falls apart absolutely wrecked me in the best way.

I devoured this story and immediately wanted to recommend it to everyone. Worth, Mya, and Brianna felt destined from the start, and now I am beyond ready for Daddy Griffin because if this book set the standard, I already know what’s coming next is going to ruin me all over again.

If you are looking for a Workplace romance with a marriage of convenience and a single dad, this is the book for you. Just Until Forever is book 1 in the Blue Collar Billionaires: Seattle series by Nouha Jullienne. Firstly, I would like to thank Nouha Jullienne for giving me an ARC. Importantly this book may contain triggering content, please check the content/trigger warning before reading.

Just until forever was an amazing story and a perfect amount of romance and plot. From the moment you can see the tension, and especially after they enter a marriage of convenience. I was completely hooked from the start; there was so much about the plot and the characters that had me in the feels, from laughing my head off to crying. I could go on and on about how much of this story I could go on about. Here are some of my favourite parts, non-spoiler and out of context ( out of order).
* Singapore
* Paris
* dinner in Paris
* Worth with Brianna (all scenes)
* Marriage of convince
* Mya visiting her mum
* Brianna and Mya (all scenes)

Worth was a perfectly written character. I loved seeing him as a single dad and his relationship with his daughter, Brianna, always putting her needs first. You can see the hurt he and his daughter suffered after his last relationship, having his wall up so high that he is known as a bit of a playboy. Over time, you see him falling in love with Mya and the "fake life" they build together. He comes across as a tough guy, but deep down, he is a sweet person for her. Overall Worth is such an amazing character and is very much a true single dad romance.

Mya was my favourite character. She chases her dreams to work at W.H.M. Construction as a junior designer. Mya is very much a sweet yet sassy person who doesn't let anyone give her preferential treatment. I loved seeing her showing that grief can affect us in different ways and that sometimes healing is not linear, and it can leave everlasting scars. Her relationship with Brianna was written so well and truly heart-warming; it was the person who would listen to her when she needed it .

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. I hope you all pick this up on release day (12/03/2026). happy reading.

Mya is a recent graduate, hoping to land her dream job with an elite construction firm. When she shows up for her interview, she can’t deny the immediate connection she feels for the CEO, but after hearing him tell the committee that they can’t hire her after she leaves the room, she assumes she won’t get the job. When she gets a late night email a week later, asking her to start in the morning, she is shocked, but the hostility she receives from the CEO when she arrives is unexpected. As they continue to clash over the weeks, she can’t deny her attraction, but when he essentially proposes to her at a company gala, she is blown away.

After a brutal divorce where his ex left their daughter in his care only to disappear completely, Worth swore he would never have another relationship, preferring to devote his life to his daughter and his company. But when his ex starts making waves, threatening to sue for custody, his lawyer advises him that his playboy image is not going to do him any favours, and if he wants the judge to take him seriously, he has to show a stable home for his daughter. While he didn’t have any prospects at first, he can’t help but think of Mya, his newest junior designer. The chemistry between them has been off the charts since their first encounter, so she seems like an obvious choice for a convenient wife, but a marriage on paper may be easier said than done.

I received an early copy of this book from the author and really enjoyed it. I loved how Mya stood her ground and refused to compromise herself, even as she felt herself falling for Worth. On the other hand, Worth allowed himself to let someone in for the first time since his ex, and got way more than he bargained for, including a closer relationship with his daughter. While their romance was unconventional, to say the least, it was clear that they were both trying to guard their previously broken hearts, and somehow they were the exact piece the other was missing.

✨ Just Until Forever ✨ Book 1 in the Blue Collar Billionaires: Seattle series — and yes, it’s giving single dad billionaire + marriage of convenience in the best way.

Mya has put in the WORK. Years of studying, grinding, proving herself… and now she finally lands an interview at a powerhouse construction company. No experience? Doesn’t matter. She’s determined to succeed on talent alone and I loved that about her. She wanted to stand on her own two feet 👏

Enter Worth. This man is emotionally unavailable with a capital U. He’s built his life around his company and his teenage daughter, Brianna, and has fully convinced himself that love is just a complication he doesn’t need. But then Mya walks in and suddenly the walls he built start cracking.

Worth is that dangerous combo: the guy you think you’re going to hate… but absolutely cannot. He’s guarded, hurt, protective — yet so soft when it comes to his daughter and eventually Mya. The way he loved them? Pure. Genuine. Swoon-worthy. And then this man opens his mouth and—sir??? The filth?? The audacity?? I was unwell.

I adored how he supported Mya in her career. A powerful, successful man who wants her to shine on her own merit? Say less. I love a supportive king.

Did I want to shake Mya sometimes? Yes. But also… I get it, girl. Feel your feelings.

And the chemistry??? Off. The. Charts.
The tension had me internally screaming for them to stop resisting each other. That bathroom scene? Permanently etched in my brain.

You need this one on your TBR immediately.

Things to know

If you know me, you already know the answer to this… it’s a Just Until Forever review and YES, I absolutely devoured it. Because it’s a Nouha Jullienne book… what did you honestly expect from me?? 😌

From the first chapter I was hooked. This story gave me everything I love in a romance: fake dating, grumpy billionaire boss, sunshine heroine, and a protective single dad who would burn the world down for his daughter. And honestly? I ate it UP.

Worth Miller is the kind of grumpy hero I cannot resist. Billionaire construction mogul, single dad, emotionally guarded, and suddenly needing a wife to survive a custody battle and save his reputation. Enter Mya — sunshine in human form and his junior designer. The chemistry between them? Immediate. The banter? Chef’s kiss. The slow realization that their “pretend” marriage might not be so pretend anymore? Absolutely delicious.

Mya was such a refreshing heroine. She’s sweet but not naive, ambitious, and she doesn’t let Worth get away with his broody billionaire nonsense. Watching her slowly break down his walls was honestly one of my favorite parts of the book.

And Worth… sir. The grumpy exterior, the soft dad moments, the way he starts catching feelings even while insisting he won’t?? I was kicking my feet the entire time.

The fake marriage tension, the forced proximity, the emotional moments with his daughter, and the slow-burn feelings creeping in made this story so addictive. Once I started reading, I genuinely didn’t want to put it down.

Basically:
Fake relationship ✔️
Billionaire boss ✔️
Single dad softness ✔️
Grumpy x sunshine ✔️
Catching feelings HARD ✔️

And since it’s Nouha’s book… OF COURSE I loved it. That was never even a question.

If you love books like Kings of Sin, Miles High Club, and Dreamland Billionaires, you definitely need this one on your TBR.

*Chefs Kiss* CEO? Single Dad? Reformed Player? BIG YES

This book had me hooked from the very first chapter. Just Until Forever delivers exactly what I want in a romance and then some. The chemistry between the main characters is electric, the tension builds perfectly, and the emotional payoff is so satisfying.
The marriage of convenience trope is one of my favorites, and this story does it beautifully. What starts as an arrangement slowly grows into something real, layered, and deeply emotional. The slow burn is done so well. Every glance, every moment of reluctant care, every bit of banter builds the tension until you are completely invested in their relationship.
The hero is especially compelling. A powerful CEO with a complicated past and a soft side for his child makes for such a strong emotional core. Watching him evolve from guarded and controlled to vulnerable and protective was one of the best parts of the book. The single dad element adds so much warmth and heart to the story.
I also loved the dynamic between boss and employee. There is constant tension, respect, and just enough stubbornness on both sides to keep things interesting. The heroine holds her ground and never feels overshadowed. She is strong, capable, and impossible not to root for.
The pacing is fantastic. The slow burn keeps the anticipation high, and the emotional moments hit exactly where they should. By the time the romance fully blossoms, it feels completely earned.
If you love marriage of convenience, single dad heroes, age gap tension, and a reformed playboy who falls hard, this book absolutely delivers. It is romantic, emotional, and incredibly satisfying.
Highly recommend to anyone who loves a slow burn romance that keeps you turning pages late into the night. 💙

Just until forever follows the story of Worth, a grumpy man who harbors a soft spot for his daughter. From the very beginning, it’s evident that he loves her deeply. After meeting Mya, something within Worth shifts. He experiences a rush of emotions he’s never felt before, and he desires her. Despite his feelings, he tries to maintain a distance by being a grump. He admires her for not taking his crap and for challenging him, even though she’s his employee and significantly younger than him. Despite knowing that he shouldn’t want her, he can’t seem to get her out of his mind. He becomes obsessed and jealous. Mya seems to feel the same way. She’s clearly attracted to him and drawn to him. She knows that she shouldn’t want him because he’s her boss and has been rude to her, but she can’t help her feelings. She also becomes very attached and has grown to love Worths daughter. I loved how she stood up for not only herself but for Brianna. It showed it doesn’t matter if you’re related or not, if you care about someone you consistently show up for them and stand up and protect them. There’s obviously tension between Worth and Mya. Once they cross boundaries, things take a dramatic turn. I found myself a bit frustrated because both Worth and Mya fell deeply for each other, but they either kept denying their feelings to themselves and others or, when they finally admitted it, they didn’t say anything to the other. I do get why Mya was scared. Sometimes when you lose someone you love you let fear take over and you build these walls to protect yourself/your heart so you don’t get hurt. But sometimes doing so you end up hurting anyways and miss out of something amazing. I’m glad they were able to figure things out and got the happy ending they both wanted.

Just Until Forever - Nouha Jullienne

Hey loves, looking for a new marriage of connivence book? Well have I got a good one for you, and even better it’s a single dad book. 😉

This was a cute story
I will say I have learned something knew about myself with this book. I find I don’t love when my mmc was a playboy but it never really bothered me as a background but I have just recently learned that I don’t need to read it currently happening. I will say I was a little worried when the book opened up like that. But it turned around.

I loved how Worth was kind of struck stupid for Mya it was like his whole chemical makeup just did a bit of a switch up and he didn’t know how to handle it.

If you are not a fan of insta love don’t worry I definitely wouldn’t classify this as that. Sure there is instant attraction but their relationship develops over actually quite a bit of time throughout the whole book there are quite a bit of time jumps that this book takes up I think almost a two ish year gap

Worths relationship with his daughter is adorable to watch it is actually like he only shows that side of himself with her which is definitely really cute

His daughter is the sweetest and I love how she is always looking out for her dad and she knows how much he does for her and the relationship between her and Mya just blossoms so well with their combined love of being artistic and creative.

✨ ARC Review — Thank you to the author for providing me with an advance reader copy. All thoughts are my own. ✨

This is a genuine five-star read for me.

I went into this book without reading the tropes beforehand (which is becoming my personal tradition at this point), and I’m glad I did because I experienced the character growth organically.

I will admit — I’m usually hesitant when it comes to the “reformed playboy” trope. Personally, I struggle to believe in that transformation easily. However, this story handles it beautifully. The change in the male lead doesn’t feel sudden or superficial. It unfolds through actions, choices, and emotional accountability, which makes it believable and satisfying.

Mia’s character stood out deeply to me. Her insecurities, her internal struggles, and her quiet strength feel relatable rather than exaggerated. She’s written in a way that allows readers to see pieces of themselves in her journey.

What I appreciated most is that the book doesn’t rely on extreme drama. While fictional, it feels grounded. The emotional pacing, the slow burn tension, and the maturity in conflict resolution make the romance feel earned.

It’s heartfelt, warm, and emotionally resonant.

Thank you again to the author for the opportunity to be part of this journey. I’m genuinely looking forward to continuing the series — especially Griffin’s story in Book 3.

Just Until Forever is one of those romances that pulls you in quietly and then has you
fully invested before you realize what happened. The single-dad/marriage-of-
convenience tropes caught my interest, but then the emotional layers of the story,
especially Worth’s relationship with his daughter (omg, loved it), kept me locked in.

Mr. Miller carries the kind of emotional armor that makes you think he’s forgotten what
softness feels like, and watching Mya slowly dismantle his walls was incredibly
satisfying. She isn’t simply the sunshine to his grumpy— she’s capable, confident, and
knows exactly what she brings to the table, keeping the boss–employee dynamic
balanced. Their fake marriage unfolds as a slow burn, full of tension, teasing banter,
and those everyday moments that make the line between pretend and real blur in the
best way.

What worked especially well for me was the way the story balanced romance with
emotional stakes. The custody battle and public scrutiny added tension without
overshadowing the relationship, and when the emotional payoff finally comes, the
landing sticks. This is a warm, emotionally satisfying romance that shows forever is
built on trust, commitment, and choosing to keep showing up for each other.

I really enjoyed this story! It was my first time reading this author, and she’s definitely gained a new reader. I’m already excited for the next book and plan to go back and read the earlier one too.

If you’re a fan of grumpy single dads, fake marriages, and slow-burn emotional payoffs, this is
definitely one to check out!

Grumpy Boss Meets His Match

Workplace romance always has a special place on my bookshelf, and this story reminded me exactly why.

Worth is the kind of hero who walks into a room and instantly takes up all the oxygen. He’s the classic grumpy CEO on the outside, guarded and emotionally closed off after life knocked him around. But underneath all that armor is a fiercely devoted single dad who would do absolutely anything for his daughter, Bri. Watching that softer side peek through the cracks made his character so much more than just the typical broody boss.

Mya, on the other hand, refuses to be intimidated by anyone, especially not her boss. She’s ambitious, stubborn in the best way, and determined to prove that she belongs exactly where she is. Everything she does is fueled by the desire to make her late father proud, and that drive makes her impossible not to root for.

The tension between Worth and Mya builds slowly, but it’s the kind of slow burn that keeps you turning pages because you *know* the explosion is coming. Their chemistry simmers under every conversation, every look, every sharp piece of banter they throw at each other.

What I really loved about this story is that it isn’t just about attraction. Both characters are dealing with their own baggage, their own fears, and the struggle of letting someone truly see them. When things finally start to fall apart, the emotional weight of it hits hard.

This book delivers angst, heart, and characters that feel real. And when Worth and Mya finally stop fighting what’s been building between them, it feels completely earned.

If you love grumpy bosses, strong heroines, and a romance packed with tension and heart, this one is definitely worth picking up.

I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of Just Until Forever by Nouha Jullienne, and it absolutely delivered everything I love in a romance! This is the second ARC I’ve read from Nouha, and at this point I can confidently say I love her writing style. She has such a beautiful way of building tension, emotion, and connection between characters that keeps you completely invested from start to finish.
Worth and Mya completely stole my heart. The dynamic between grumpy, guarded single dad Worth and sunshine-filled Mya was so addictive to read. The longing between them, the slow burn of their feelings, and the deep emotional connection that developed throughout the story felt so real. And yes — the spicy scenes were perfectly done too 🔥. They added to the intensity of their relationship rather than taking away from the emotional depth.
I also really appreciated the family dynamics in this story. The struggles, the custody battle, and the complicated relationships felt realistic and genuinely touching. Worth’s love for his daughter added so much heart to the story and made the stakes feel incredibly real.
The pacing was great — the story moved smoothly while still allowing us to really feel every emotional moment between Worth and Mya. And that ending… 🥺 I definitely had tears in my eyes, but in the best possible way.
If you love fake relationship tropes, grumpy/sunshine pairings, emotional depth, and romance with both heat and heart, this one is absolutely worth the read. I can’t wait to see what Nouha writes next!

Just Until Forever by Nouha Jullienne is book one of the Blue Collar Billionaires. This single dad, age gap, slow burn was a cozy read, but it was packed with drama. Maya is such a force. Does she have her life together? No, but that doesn't stop her from pushing forward to accomplish her goals. Worth is such a grump, but he's a big 'ole softie when it comes to his daughter, Bri.

The banter and chemistry were unmatched. These two...have mercy! I couldn't get enough of them. Maya and worth falling for one another had me swooning, but what I found endearing and like a breath of fresh air was the relationship that was built between Bri and Maya. Oftentimes, we see authors put kiddos in scenes with funny one liners or they're too young to really understand what's going on. Jullienne didn't do that. She made Bri older, with complex feelings, and we get to see her really come into her own, with Maya's help, of course. Yes, the banter, spice, and chemistry was top tier, but Bri and Maya's scenes were my favorite scenes to read. Maya really takes the time to get to know Bri, and really bond with her. She's compassionate, loving, and really takes the time to listen to her.

All in all, this book was great. I enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read book two! Add Just Until Forever to your TBR now!

As always, check for trigger warnings before reading. Thank you Luna Literary and Nouha Jullienne for this ARC.

This is my second read from Nouha Jullienne, the first being No Strings Attached (book 1, Henson and Amira). Both books are really well written with a great deal of information and descriptions of each character.

Worth and Mya’s story.

Worth is a billionaire who built his company along side his brother Henson and best friend Griffin. He has a 13 year old daughter, Brianna (Bri), that’s his world. Her mum ran off and left when she was 2. When Bri’s mum, Vanessa, starts threatening to go for visitation and custody of Bri, Worth needs to reasses his priorities and make sure he’s doing everything he can to keep Bri safe. Part of that? To stop sleeping around and find a wife. He needs to find someone that will play along with his fake romance.

Mya is working at the local coffee shop trying to make ends meet while applying for jobs. All she wants is to get into construction and follow in her father’s footsteps. She decides to apply for WHM as a low level designer. She blows the interview and overhears Worth saying ‘we can’t hire her’ as she’s leaving. Late one Sunday night, she receives an email saying she has the job. She starts at 9am the next day, if she’s late - she’s done. And it’s from his personal email.

After many weeks of working together, he asks Mya if she will be his fake girlfriend, fiance and wife, in exchange he will pay off all of her debt. Will she do it? Can the fake wife plan keep Bri safe?

Excited for Griffins book!

I read a holiday novella by this author a little while ago and completely fell in love with her writing. This was such a light and fun read. I've been reading some heavier books lately, so this was the perfect palate cleanser.

Now, it's no secret that I love a grumpy man...but a sassy woman who can go toe to toe with him? Even better.
And in this book we get BOTH?? Yes ma'am. These two were delicious. There's banter, heated tension, and so many heartwarming moments. And the peek we get at future main characters?? I'M SO EXCITED.

I want to say this book is my favorite, but we still have future books to be released, so l guess I can't get too ahead of myself. lol But so far, this one is going to be hard to top. It was literal perfection and had just about every one of my favorite tropes.

There is a third-act breakup, which I don't normally love, but this one I actually didn't mind at all. The story was written so well that I felt like I was living in the book alongside the characters. Nouha has such a talent for writing stories you can completely immerse yourself in.

Seriously, If you want a book that lets you escape for a few hours, feel all the feelings, and fall in love with the characters, Nouha's books are absolutely the way to go.
I'm really eager to see what more we get from this series and will be patiently waiting for the next book. I can already tell this is going to become one of my favorite series!

I just finished the ARC for Just Until Forever, and honestly, I’m still recovering from the banter between Worth and Mya. This is the first book in the Blue-Collar Billionaires: Seattle series, and if you’re into a hero who is a total "grumpy billionaire" but secretly a softie for his daughter, you are going to be obsessed.

The setup is a marriage of convenience, which is always a favorite trope of mine, but the way these two banter is everything. Worth is this intense, protective single dad who thinks he’s done with love, while Mya, a fiercely independent junior designer who has just graduated, is not afraid to stand her ground. Their chemistry is off the charts; it’s that "he falls first" energy that literally has you yelling at your Kindle.

What really got me was the heart behind the heat. There is this raw, genuine connection that forms not just between the leads but with Worth’s daughter, Brianna, as well. It made the stakes feel so much higher than just a business deal.

I absolutely LOVED this book. It has the emotional gut punches, high-tension scenes I’ll be thinking about for a long time, and a grand gesture that wrecked me in the best possible way. I’m already so excited for book two in the series! If you want a read that balances heat and heart perfectly, put this on your TBR immediately or grab it when it drops on March 12th!

Thank you to Nouha Jullienne for the opportunity to read Just Until Forever as an ARC.
This story follows Worth Miller, a billionaire single dad focused on protecting his daughter and keeping control of his carefully structured life. When circumstances push him into a marriage-of-convenience arrangement with Mya, what starts as a practical solution slowly develops into something much deeper as they begin to challenge each other’s emotional walls.
The book blends several popular romance tropes single dad, workplace romance, and marriage of convenience while also exploring themes of trust, vulnerability, and building a family. Worth’s relationship with his daughter adds a heartfelt element that balances the romance nicely.
For me, the story had many engaging moments and strong emotional beats, but with several plot threads and character developments happening at once, parts of the narrative felt a little rushed and occasionally confusing. Even so, the central relationship and family dynamics kept me invested throughout.
Overall, this was an enjoyable contemporary romance with plenty of heart and several compelling tropes that many romance readers will enjoy.

Worth doesn’t do relationships he’s only focus onto two things his daughter and his construction empire but then his ex wife resurfaces with a custody battle while dealing with a pr strom brewed for his reputation of being an heartless playboy, so he now needs a clean up, a fake relationship and that’s when Mya enters she’s the new junior designer at his firm and she definitely didn’t think that she would and up marrying her boss, so what’s gonna happen when this fake relationship ends up being real?
Omg I loved this book so so much, the work place romance are definitely my favorites one and this was was so beautiful done, the emotions, the chemistry, the tension, the angst and the spice were so well written.
Worth and Mya are perfect for each other’s the connection between them is so intense.
Mya is independent, determined and fiercely.
Her sassy remarks were so funny omg I loved the way she was teasing Worth
Worth is intense, protective and a secret softy watching him falling in love with Mya was magical, I loved seeing him with his daughter Brianna the bond that they shared was so sweet and the fact that Brianna and Mya clacked immediately creating a beautiful relationship was so heartwarming.
I genuinely can’t wait for Griffin book I already know that’s gonna be so damn good!
