Review of Advanced Copy
This book is definitely an investment of time. So be ready for that.
Pros: the story concept is so good. The whole fallen angel and earth goddess thing captured my attention.
Zac, Phelan, Soran, and Lee are all so different and I enjoyed the multiple POV’s.
Cons: it’s a long book, and can be a little repetitive with not a lot of story development. It felt like everything happened in the last 300 pages, and with a little over 1100 pages I was worn out by the end.
I don’t really love Nina Darling as FMC. She’s superficial, and at the end I don’t feel like we really know her character.
I will definitely read the other books in the series to find out where the story goes.

Review of advance copy
We begin with a prologue of Zac investigating a ritualistic death of a woman as one of a serial killers victims. The first chapter switches to Nina, who is having her last night at art school and speaks of everything in such a depressive mood she was like a human Eeyore almost making me quit reading the book. Luckily this goes away with her entering the Pink City. This is a huge investment to read but around a third of it could’ve been deleted leaving a more streamlined story.
Nina moves to Pink City where her aunt just passed leaving her an apartment. She dreamed of becoming a photographer and heads into the city to get a few shots that will be used for a portfolio. This outing puts her in the path of 2 of the 4 men in her life, one becoming her primary “anchor” who unknowingly starts her transformation. Turns out Nina is a Gaia gene carrier and her men are celestials who have been on the earth for centuries following the Fall from heaven. The celestials have no recollection of why they fell, with some searching for the answer. There is a lot going on in here. Many times a revelation will occur only to place the story back two more steps.
The four celestials all have their own agendas, some more innocuous than others. I really liked Phelan, her main and first anchor. He’s a big CEO and becomes her lifeline from the start. One in particular, Lee, I found kind of cringy at times. He was the medical doctor that studied and tracked her for the Gregori (celestial organization). He put secret trackers in her apartment and on her fitness watch. At one point he comes to her to grill her on her intimate activities that he was tracking. Ewww. But even knowing what he was doing Nina still wore the device?! Lee looses some of his ick factor as the pages roll on but it takes a good while to do so.
Zac, the officer in human and celestial realms had dreamt of her for as long as he could remember, becoming her “guardian angel”. But even he just appears when she is in danger like he’s following her in the beginning. The last man is Soren, the supermodel who brings levity and appears noncommittal while being a ruthless commander for the Grigori.
As the book progresses more danger is posed towards Nina. She goes into hiding in Phelan’s penthouse with the men guarding her. Knowing she is hunted by different factions she demands on side quests to test things out. Mr. Cringy Lee obliges her by sneaking out for excursions, attracting other bad players, then needing to be saved by the other men. For more than half the book Nina is written like a human parasite that drains her celestial guardians energies. So when there is an event she’s drained then needs the men to give their energy, leaving them weakened. Even knowing this it happens often. At one point Nina sneaks out to see Lee at his apartment to “train.” Remember she’s in hiding because of the threats against her and Lee lets her walk back to Phelan’s alone?! In the last quarter of the book their field trips increase knowing factions are closing in.
There are a few other inconsistencies, such as the auction for an ancient artifact, the Meminit. Phelan is bidding for it and it gets in the millions and he just stops bidding? Isn’t he a billionaire? If it was as central to him as it was stated wouldn’t he keep bidding to make it his? That artifact becomes integral but why is not very clear.
Early on it comes to light that Nina needs regular sexual encounters with the men to help feed her transformation. In the beginning this was more central. Midway it sort of peters out. Does she not need that anymore? Her draining of the men episodes also ceases, yet both of these items were pretty central the first half.
I found the antagonists reasoning for the killings to be unsatisfactory and more questions were brought up such as who did kill her aunt? It does not end on a cliffhanger but it does continue. As the first of a planned series of 7 this was almost too dense. I’m in the air as to if I’d read the next one. The world building was good, the characters likable, minus Lee, and it could have potential for an epic story with a good streamlining. I received the ARC for free, read and wrote the review voluntarily.

Between Heaven and Earth is one of those stories where there is constantly something happening beneath the surface. New revelations lead to more questions, secrets seem to have secrets, and every time I thought I had a decent grasp on what was going on, the story opened another door.
I ended up having a really good time with this one.
The biggest thing that worked for me was the world itself. The celestial mythology, hidden supernatural society, mysterious history, and overall atmosphere kept me engaged throughout the story. It felt ambitious in a way I appreciate. There was a lot happening, but it created a sense that this world existed long before Nina stepped into it.
I also loved the multiple POVs. In a book this size, multiple perspectives can either become overwhelming or become one of the story’s strengths. Here, I thought they added depth and helped me stay invested in what was happening beyond the main storyline.
Zac was probably my favorite character. There was something incredibly comforting about his presence. He was protective, caring, dependable, and never felt one-dimensional. Every time his chapters appeared, I was happy to see them.
Soren also fascinated me. The man practically breathes mystery. He always felt like he knew more than everyone else in the room, and I found myself constantly looking for clues whenever he appeared. I definitely need more of his story moving forward.
Now let’s talk about Phelan.
I know readers are probably going to have very different opinions about him, but he frustrated me throughout most of this book. I understood his emotional wounds and where some of his behavior came from, but understanding someone’s reasons doesn’t automatically make their choices easier to accept. There were moments where his treatment of Nina genuinely irritated me. More than once I wanted to climb into the pages and have a conversation with him myself.
As much as I enjoyed the story, I do think the length will be a challenge for some readers. I personally enjoy big fantasy and romantasy books, but there were sections that felt slower than necessary. A tighter edit in certain areas might have strengthened the pacing without losing the heart of the story.
That said, the writing itself kept me reading. Even during slower moments, I never felt disconnected from the story. The author created characters I cared about and mysteries I wanted answers to.
The ending left me with a lot of questions. Not in a way that made me feel cheated, but in a way that made me curious about where the series is heading. There are still so many pieces on the board, and I feel like we’ve only scratched the surface of the bigger picture.
Overall, this was an immersive, character-driven urban romantasy with an intriguing supernatural world, multiple compelling characters, plenty of mystery, and enough unanswered questions to keep me interested in the next installment.
If you love long books that allow you to fully sink into a world and spend time with the characters, this one is definitely worth adding to your list.

I think this book was really interesting, I haven't read this concept before which made me happy because I was invested! It is a very long book 600+ pages that may turn people off, I love bigger books I just hope since its a series that the author manage to keep the audience engaged all the time. Especially since its going to be a long book series I recommend this book especially if you like supernatural themes.

2. Lee, this actually surprised me too because i didn't think i would like him this much either, but he snekead up on me
3. Soran, hes an intressant character but we dont know that much about him considering most of the time he has a facade on. I hope to get more information about him because he has kept some big secrets from the group too, i love his flirty self though
4. Phelan you deeply disappointed me, I liked him at first but then he sleeps with the fmc and takes off because he has abandonment issues?? He was just so whiny and annoying the whole book i coudnt stand him tbh. I also hated him because Nina forgave him for abandoning her and making her in pain yet he was unable to do the same for her, he was so cold to her when she tried to apologize. Hes so hypocritical and insecure?? it makes him look pathetic, i hope he grovels the next book because acted like a man child this entire book and did ruin my experience a bit.
I was a bit confused about who knew about the angels and stuff since it did seem like the group was talking openly about it, but we did get our answer there. The edning left me a bit anxious becuase of Zach leaves her in some misguided need to protect her ill be seriously pissed, I would much rather that the relationships grows closer. None of the men trust each other

This is book one in the Daughters of Gaia series, and is a why choose, reverse harem, urban romantasy. We have Nina who has inherited an apartment in the Pink City following the death of her aunt and uses it as an opportunity to finally do something exciting with her life. She makes some great friends, has a beautiful apartment, lands her dream job as a fashion photographer, and is basically living her best life.
Slowly but surely she finds herself surrounded by four magnetic men, Phelan the billionaire CEO, Zac the Detective, Lee the Scientist, and Soren the playboy model, all of which turn out to be celestial beings. Her connection with these four guardians seems to have awakened Nina’s own earth powers.
So I’m not ashamed to admit that I was low-key intimidated by this book when it arrived, all 800+ pages of it! But surprisingly I flew through it, and for me that shows just how talented Margo is because it didn’t feel like an effort to read. And the cover is stunning. I am obsessed! We have fated mates, alpha males, celestials, found family, a sassy FMC, protective MMC’s, lies, secrets, prophecies, obsession, magical powers, seers, slow burn romance, secret organisations, rituals, intrigue, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.
OMG I loved this book so much, I absolutely love Margo’s writing style, the plot is fantastic, the characters are deep and layered and nuanced, even the side characters, the world building is awesome. I have to say I would love to visit the Pink City, it sounds amazing, it gives me New Orleans vibes, but maybe a little more artsy. I think Margo quickly made it onto my auto buy list, I won’t even need to read the blurb, I will just automatically buy anything she writes. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next. And I am living for the fact this is the first book of seven in this series. This was a fab read for me and I rated it 4.75 stars, I would highly recommend.

I mean how am I supposed to review this book without making this review a book. I mean this book was over 600 pages. Talk about a big book. I love a big book but sometimes it’s hard for me though with life !!
Anywho this book was great !! The writing style everything was just so good !! I seriously had a hard time putting this down.
I really liked the concept of this book. It’s really different. Well maybe it’s just me. I dunno but I liked it. I loved that we have different POV really makes book especially one of this size.
I really liked Zac I thought he was so good. He was protective and caring and just everything you really want in a main character and he was so good with the FMC
I also had a few other characters I liked. I really enjoyed Soran and how he seemed to be kinda mysterious and kept a lot of secrets from the group. I hope we get more from him cause I want to know more he really intrigued me.
Phalen is he supposed to be liked ?! Cause I didn’t. I just found him to a bit annoying and kinda whiny and just not cool. lol. He just kinda irked me the entire book. Oh and the thing I really didn’t like he sleeps with our FMC and then just leaves cause he has issues with being abandoned I mean I have these issues too but I mean I’m not gonna just take off on someone. I may distance myself but won’t run away. Ahhh I wanted to scream also our girl forgives him but yet he’s so nasty to her like what the heck ?! Not cool nope didn’t like at all!!
The ending really left me with a lot of questions; questions I hope are answered in the next book. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long. I wonder if this will be an audio book oooo would be so good !!

The ending really left me with a lot of questions; questions I hope are answered in the next book. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long. I wonder if this will be an audio book oooo would be so good !!

Between Heaven and Earth instantly transported me to the Pink City, a place brimming with magic, fashion, and unexpected danger. The FMC is an absolute gem – she's trying to live her dream, only to find herself at the center of an ancient supernatural conflict, sought after as a potential resurrected goddess. Her sass and refusal to be controlled, even when faced with devastatingly powerful celestial men, made her an incredibly engaging protagonist.
The four MMCs are masterfully crafted: an archangel CEO, a med-tech manipulator, a loyal detective, and a supermodel. Each one brings a unique brand of mystery and allure, and the constant question of their true intentions – to protect, to own, to control – keeps the pages turning. The supernatural intrigue is rich, the luxury settings are vivid, and the promise of a why-choose dynamic with obsessive protectors and fated mates is incredibly strong. This book truly builds a vast, fascinating world.
My one reservation, which keeps it from a perfect five-star rating, is that with four MMCs and such an expansive world to establish, I sometimes felt that the individual emotional connections between the FMC and each of the MMCs were still quite nascent by the HFN ending. While the physical attraction and the protective instincts were palpable, I wished for a few more definitive moments of deeper, individual emotional bonding with all of them to truly sink my teeth into the "why choose" aspect in this first book. It's a very subtle point, as the overall setup is fantastic, but it was just enough to notice.
That said, this is an excellent beginning to what promises to be a grand series. If you’re ready for a sprawling, slow-burn urban romantasy with powerful MMCs and a heroine who defies expectations, this is for you.

😳 where to even start here? The beauty of a book is THICK! She took me almost a week to read in sections and I can normally power through just about any other book in a few hours. The cover is so pretty with the golds and black and that beautiful splash of pink. This is by far the biggest book I have ever read. Now, onto the story itself. I loved that this wasn't a super cringy romance novel, nor was it totally fantasy. It is the best of both worlds. The author made it into a 'why choose' situation and then upped the ante by adding not 2, not 3, but 4 men that Nina Darling could link up with. But honestly, I can't say I blame her because each one has their pros and cons and it would be hard for me to choose which cake to eat too. I loved that Nina's career of choice was photography, as taking pictures has a special place in my heart as well. I do wish in terms of reading that the book was cut down into 2 or 3 smaller books, just because it was a beast to tackle. Although, honestly, I am not sure where a good stopping point could have been to create it into separate books. The writing was flowy, descriptive, and surprisingly given it's girth, was not overkill with repetition. I never once felt dread to keep powering through the novel. It was easy to get caught up in this love affair meets magical world romantasy. This is book 1 of 7 and I cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the series. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go hit the gym for leg day because arms are done for the rest of the month holding this hunk up for nearly a week. 😆

A spicy, imaginative paranormal romance with compelling world-building and a mystery that kept me hooked right alongside the romance.
I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed Between Heaven and Earth. I picked it up expecting a fun paranormal romance, but what I found was a story with fascinating world-building, an intriguing mystery, and characters that kept me invested from beginning to end.
What really stood out to me was the world-building. The mythology surrounding the Gaia gene, celestial beings, fallen angels, and daemons felt unique and well-developed. While the romance and spice are definitely a major part of the book (and there is a lot of it), I found myself just as invested in the underlying story.
The mystery element added an extra layer of tension that kept me turning pages. Nina discovers that other women carrying the Gaia gene have recently been murdered, and it quickly becomes clear that she may be next. As Nina and her four celestial companions race to uncover the truth, the story balances fantasy, romance, suspense, and danger surprisingly well.
The multiple points of view could have felt overwhelming with five main characters, but instead they helped me understand each character's motivations and made the relationships feel more meaningful.
If you enjoy reverse harem romance, paranormal fantasy, celestial mythology, and a healthy dose of spice mixed with mystery and suspense, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Books about fallen angels always capture my interest which is why I think this book kind of kept my attention even with its massive length. Seeing Nina traverse the Pink City and the way that she knew this new home would bring about a life she never could have prepared for was honestly a great way to make an urban fantasy. I felt like Zac, Lee, Soran, Phelan, and Nina were all interesting characters and I felt like all their different dynamics were enough to keep me interested in their stories.

I do like romance in my fantasy worlds but I felt like this was more focused on the story of the fallen angels and I found it really interesting learning about them in this author’s perspective. Overall, this was a very long introduction to a series and I’m curious to see where it leads.

I received this book in advance of publication thanks to Love Book Tours and the author Margo Graham.
My first impressions were Wow! It is such a beautiful cover and the Blurb sounded so intriguing. I was really interested in reading an urban romantasy which was a new concept for me.
The book follows Nina who moves to the Pink City after inheriting her Aunt's apartment to follow her dreams of becoming a fashion photographer. Quite quickly things start happening to Nina which makes her realise that she is different. She meets 4 celestial men, the gates of Heaven were shut and they were cast out on Earth. They are all extremely drawn to Nina and protect her.
Phelan is a Billionaire CEO, Nina has a primary bond with him but there is also Lee who medically researches Nina ( I found this a bit ick) Soran who is a fashion model and Detective Zac.
Each of the men has a completely different character. We also meet Chelsea who becomes Nina's BBF. I loved their friendship and bond.
I found the world and character building in this book absolutely amazing. It is descriptive and in depth , the book is huge! but at no point did it feel hard work and the storyline kept my interest.
There is a lot of spice in the book. Nina gains energy/ power from her sexual interactions with each of the 4 men. To be honest this was a bit much for me but some will love the amount of spice.
The ending was so dramatic and is set up for the next book. I can't wait to find out how Margo Graham develops this series and will definitely continue the series.

‘Between Heaven and Earth’ is a mind blowing read, it’s the biggest book I’ve read and I loved every moment of it! With having a huge love for fashion and having studied fashion design and costume design, pink city really resonated with me with the way it’s described and portrayed, if Pink City was a real city, I’d 100 percent visit it.
Nina Darling is definitely one of a kind, I noticed that her character is a 'change and grow'. When Nina is first introduced, she is shy, timid and her confidence isn’t there. When she meets Chelsea and the boys, they all play a part in helping her come out of her shell and become her true self. She starts to thrive and as a reader, it is satisfying to see! I loved everything about Nina and my favourite part is how protective and caring the boys are of her, they all have so much love for her and we can clearly see that.
As a whole, this is a rollercoaster of a read, it isn’t your average Romantasy, it’s very urban which is what drew me into picking it up, it’s why 'choose which' I’m realising is becoming one of my favourite genres/tropes. There is also a crime/mystery aspect to it which is really thrilling and exciting. If you are a looking for a Romantasy that’s different then this is the read for you! It’s chunky but it’s so fast paced! Add this to your tbr if this is your vibe.

Grab a drink and some snacks, then settle down and get yourself comfortable as this book is a chunky one. The paperback edition weighs in at 796 pages but you will not regret it.
From the start I was instantly intrigued with the mystery of supernatural ritualistic murders, elemental death trials, elemental powers and ancient angelic magic. I really enjoyed the incorporation of science and fantasy. The author has created a rich urban fantasy world with demi-angels and demi-gods. I loved all of the organisations as well, the Shadow Watch, Grigori and the Sacred Name.
This is told in multiple point of view, which I loved. The book focuses on Nina Darling and her four guardians Zac, Soran, Lee and Phelan. I love why choose romances and each guardian brings something different to the table. I think my favourite was Zak, the devoted detective bound by duty and torn by love.
This was a brilliant first novel in the series, filled with lots of world building, interesting lore, found family, spice and action. I loved all of Nina’s animals too. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series as I need to know what Zac will choose.

Between Heaven and Earth by Margo Graham was such an addictive read for me! This book is thick, and a little intimidating at first sight. Don’t hold back, just dive in! There’s action, mystery, romance, and celestial lore.
Nina experiences the sudden and mysterious death of her aunt, she leaves art college and moves to Pink City. She decides to live in the apartment her aunt left behind. Pink City felt so vivid and alive with all the art and creative energy. There’s also a darker side since a serial killer is targeting young women.
Once Nina lands her dream job at Rive magazine, everything starts spiraling into chaos in the best way. She becomes connected to four celestial keepers. Yes, it’s why choose!! I absolutely loved the why choose dynamics between them all. Each of the guys brought something completely different to the relationship and group dynamic. I loved getting glimpses of their true celestial forms. I definitely have a favorite guy, but you’ll need to decide your favorite!!
Nina was strong and determined, but we also see her struggling with grief and trying to figure out who she is after losing her aunt. I really loved the found family vibes.
This was such a strong start to the Daughters of Gaia series. Now, I need the next book immediately!!

🐝 We all know the phrase “Don’t judge a book by a cover” but I promise you 𝑫𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒃𝒚 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕. At first with nearly 1200 I questioned my decision, but as soon as I started the book, my opinion completely changed.
Nina arrives in the vibrant Pink City, the story entraps you in a world of fantasy, romance, and a touch of celestial mystery. I loved how the urban setting feels glamorous and dreamlike, filled with art, fashion, and the promise that magic might be hiding just around the corner. Because let’s face it, that’s what we actually want in real life a touch of magic and hope.
Nina is determined, witty, and refreshingly unwilling to bow to anyone—even when faced with powerful supernatural beings. Throughout the book she’s learning about who she really is and what it means for her future.
But she isn’t alone she has her bodyguards, four celestial men. The relationships between Nina and these four men is one that demonstrates love, protection and desire.
Alongside her best friend who is ride or die, we find out what is really happening in The Pink City.
What I enjoyed most about this book is that it didn’t lean too heavily into one genre or one trope. It perfectly set the scene for up and coming page turners!

Ok guys, you know that I'm a "judge a book by its cover" girly and oh my goodness - just look at this one!
So, I love bees and this one here instantly caught my eye, along with the flash of colour in the flowers - then on looking closer, we see the bee is mechanical and with all the symbols around too and the tags - I just had to know what this book was all about!
Well, when this book arrived, I have to admit that I was very afraid!
It's a chonky read at over 800 pages - but as soon as I dove in, I knew I was going to be obsessed!
This book combines so many great genres but essentially is a romantasy read and for all I say about often getting bogged down by the world building - the author combines this into the storyline beautifully and with things feeling quite realistic in many ways, really makes this flow perfectly and never get too overwhelming.
As we meet all the characters, it soon becomes apparent that Nina is being lersued by multiple leading men - but it takes some time to work through their motives and discover their true need for her.
I absolutely loved this why choose element and seeing the dynamics between the pairings and groups and exploring what each of the boys bring to the relationship.
All very different in themselves, but between them, offering everything that Nina needs.
This was dark and sexy, but this also had such a great overall storyline to sink our teeth into.
I had no clue who to trust and this changes throughout the bookany times.
I loved the development of Nina's character and totally understood the way she needed to exert some control over things.
This was a brilliant start to The Daughters Of Gaia series and I see so much potential for future development and that ending!!

This story reads as though you are watching a very high budget movie and one i would pay to see.
This is a story with angels/demons and humans who have no knowledge of what they are. There is a fantastic art/fashion sub-story and romantic suspense running throughout with ‘why choose’ on steroids 🌶️ each coupling (of which there are 4) is intense but there is also a dark undercurrent because women are being murdered and we have to find out why and by who?!
Nina (our FMC) is starting a new life in a new city with an inherited apartment and brand new career and the way the story unfolds makes us love her and enjoy watching her realise who and what she is whilst taking on a huge adventure of saviour-I’ve never read anything quite like this book in the best way 🥰

This first in a series, this novel has some seriously rich worldbuilding with a huuuge amount of character progression throughout.
Nina has left college as she wants to follow a different path of being a photographer and moves to Pink City where she has inherited a property from a family member.
As Nina starts her new job things dont appear as they should and attractions are occurring with four very different and secretive men. A fantastic slow burn why choose with plenty of tension and yearning.
A classic good versus bad storyline about Celestial beings but with a such an amazing plot and premise! Who doesn't want to find out why the Angels fell and have no memory of why?
My only mention is that there were alot on inner monologues that could have been shortened but it didnt detract from the incredible story! I cannot wait for the rest of the series.

The story follows a fashion photographer FMC whose life gets turned completely upside down when she's pulled into a hidden world of angels, demons, and the supernatural. The romance is a why choose with fated mates, but it takes its time getting there. It's definitely a slowburn, which gave all of the relationships room to develop instead of feeling rushed. I also loved the found family aspect. The murder mystery kept me guessing throughout, and it balanced really well with the romance and fantasy. This book kept making me think how good it would be as a TV show. It already has everything you'd want: mystery, romance, supernatural creatures, action, found family, and enough drama to keep watching.

The author did a great job of pacing this novel in a way that while it was long, you were happy it was a long book vs wanting parts to be over.
The premise is that the main female character moves to a new city to claim an inheritance. There’s dead bodies popping up in the city that share a certain genetic marker. Turns out, our FMC has some weird stuff going on, shares this marker, and is coming into some kind of power.
Meanwhile, this is a why choose novel, so of course there are 4 super hot guys that are constantly around. Oh, and they’re fallen angels. Obviously, sparks fly, but who can she trust? Do they all have honorable intentions? Is the murderer coming for her, next?
This was a great start to the series and I can’t wait for the rest to come out! This novel was beautifully done and a joy to read.

My goodness, this was a hefty read—lol. I usually prefer longer books; however, this one tested even my resolve. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the book, I just love to binge-read, and this wasn’t something I could do without losing two nights of sleep.
The premise was genuinely unique and very multi-genre, and I think the author did a solid job of creating distinct characters that didn’t feel the same or blur together. There is spice, but in all honesty, compared to the bulk of the content, it leans much more toward lore, action, discovery, and suspense rather than heat.
I didn’t love this read, but I really did enjoy it, and I would absolutely read book two. It was engaging and had plenty of adventure throughout.

I loved Zac and Phelan, even when I wanted to shake the latter for being a total cockwomble to Nina. I had more mixed feelings over Soran and Lee, though Lee’s lesson on control was oh so hot!
The ending blew me away, tense, full of action and emotion, and then that epilogue.

This book has many pages but keeps its quality in all of them, never boring and all interesting.
The main characters are all relatable ( even though they are mostly non-human) The story is not fast and pays a lot of attention to feelings and atmosphere, but that is because they are an integral part of the story development. There are musings and philosophical dilemmas, which for me often feel as too much, but in this case they were relevant and acceptable as a tool to emphasize the emotional part of the story. That the writer pays a lot attention to emotions to tell the story does not mean it lacks actions and mystery though. There is also a lot of that present
It could be read as a stand a lone, since it kind of has a conclusion but it already also has a link to the next book also

I loved this book. It’s a thick one, so that was a win for me. I feel like sometimes thicker is better because you can really get into the depth of the story and really dive deep into the characters and what not. And that’s exactly what this did. I absolutely loved the world building. The description was great. And I loved that I felt like I was sitting in this world with everyone. Each of the characters bright such a great feel to the story. They felt realistic and I had a great time getting to know each of their personalities. The storyline was solid and flowered smoothly. This was the first time I’ve read this author, but I had a great time with this one. And that cover is absolutely gorgeous.

At 1,186 pages on Kindle, she was a BIG book 😂 And can we take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous the cover is!! It immediately caught my attention and perfectly suits the story inside.
From the start, I really enjoyed the mix of an urban setting with the fantasy elements of fallen angels and daemons. It felt like a blend of crime, fantasy, and romance, which made for a really good read.
This was also my first experience with a ‘why choose’ romance, and I’m still not convinced it’s my thing… I found myself trying to choose the whole time! 😂
One aspect I particularly loved was the use of the animals and how they aligned with the four key male characters. It added an extra layer of personality and connection to the story that I really enjoyed.

loved it !! a good start for this new series !! but, it's long... 800+ pages long... love Nina, Zak, Soren, maybe Phelan and maybe Lee ... this is their story... a well paced rom/drama... Nina is an art student and inherits an apartment in the Pink City from her aunt... she quits school and goes to live in the apartment... she gets her dream job at the fashion mag Rive.. she's to be a fashion photographer... and then, she meet them... Phelan, Zak, Soren and Lee.... her guardians with secrets... there's danger to her and they should protect her !!! it's good but, it's really long.... it could have been 20% shorter..

This was a monster of a book and I couldn’t put it down! I loved the magic system - there was plant magic and angels and demons - it was so cool. The four men (angels?) who are our MMCs were so different but there was something likable about each one of them. Each time I thought I had a favorite - it changed! Nina was just an awesome FMC and I was championing her thru the entire book. I loved how her magic kept changing and really loved her coming into her own with each of the men. I can’t even imagine a 7 book series but sign me up because this just became a favorite! Thank you to the author for the ARC copy - I’ll treasure it! And thank you to Love Book Tours - I so hope you continue to help authors like Margo - because this book would never have been on my radar without you!

Talk about a book made for a late night reader. This baby is THICK!!!!! 796 pages THICK. It kept me up late nights because I was so wrapped up in the Pink City. Why choose is ALWAYS a go to for me. Now throw in fallen angels and demons!!!! Ok so let’s count them 4 yes FOUR celestial men are all down bad for Nina. Did I mention there is a murderer on the loose that is killing peoole who fit this certain genetic profile and yes our girl Nina matches that profile. So not only is she having this why choose relationship going on BUT SHE IS ALSO trying to not be the next murder victim. She is amazing as an FMC. I LOVED HER. She really comes into her own in this world that is created for us. If you love a why choose romantasy that is THICK but keeps you reading, then this one is for you!!!!

The character progression was so satisfying, and Margo Graham’s writing style is genuinely gorgeous—easy to sink into and full of immersive description. My only tiny complaint? The slow burn was burning… like, glacially 😅 It made the book feel longer than it needed to for me. But overall, a lovely read with characters I actually cared about by the end and a super unusual plot.
