I'm so excited and a little bit sad I've reached the end of The Lagos Elite Trilogy, starting with Yahimba (who is my favorite, by the way 😍) and ending with Obehi... it's been such a ride with each of the characters: Yahimba & Eyinmofe, Zala & Tseye, and finally Obehi & Naade.
Obehi is THAT woman - she knows what she wants, but still had to be subjected to a marriage arranged by her family. Think about this for a moment: your family decides to set you up with a man you should kind of hate, but your body says otherwise 😏... but instead of just agreeing to the charade of playing happy couple just for the sake of your family, she turns it into a business arrangement that can at least benefit her and her business.
Naade's a playboy, but for Obehi, this man's a sucker right from the beginning! I kept asking myself why he had to agree to the arrangement and why they didn't just stop the wedding right away... and since their marriage is arranged due to a business partnership between both families, I expected they'd be a bit of the underlying politics of the business in question 🤔.
But aside from all this, I was here for the love development between Obehi and Naade 😍 - they clearly love each other, so why stress yourself and ME!! 😂 This might be a marriage of convenience and it might seem like an enemies-to-lovers story, but I want you to know that both MCs have the hots for each other!!
