Will the quiet strength of home and her late mother's words open Kinley's heart to healing, belonging, and perhaps even love that she never knew she needed?
Kinley Greer, a powerhouse marketing executive in Seattle, is on the cusp of launching the biggest global campaign of her career. Her fast-paced world is shaken when she learns her mother is in the hospital in Cedar Falls, Arkansas. She hasn’t been to her small-town home in years and arrives in time for a final goodbye.
Numb with grief, Kinley sorts through her late mother’s belongings and uncovers a relic she hadn't seen in years. A box filled with handwritten recipe cards. Each recipe is more than a list of ingredients. It’s a window into her mother’s thoughts, dreams, and love. Kinley begins to rediscover the woman who raised her and the town she spent decades trying to forget.

I've never looked into Christian fiction, but if it's a Brett Nelson, I'm sold.
The story is very sweet and clean. Family drama, internal struggles, and a dash of romance. I'd call this an adult coming of age story with Christian influences. I genuinely want to read the next in the series!
Try it and you may just fall in love with the Cedar Falls characters like I have.
