Writing has been a passion of hers for as long as she was old enough to pick up a pen, and having a book published is a lifelong dream.
Unfortunately, for many years, Lisa suffered from severe writer's block, which became increasingly frustrating. So in 2012, she decided to take a step back and give up trying to write for a while.
Always being an avid reader of anything she could get her hands on, Lisa was honoured when she was asked to become a reviewer on the Booky Ramblings of a Neurotic Mom blog.
Reading a wider range of books, interacting with authors, writing reviews, and a certain trip to London, led Lisa to participate in NaNoWriMo 2013, and she gives all those things credit for her finally managing to complete her first book.
From Rock Bottom to Skye High is the first book Lisa has managed to complete, and she is extremely proud of it. She hopes that Skye's story is the first of many, many more to come!
