Is Todd Anderson crazy? Todd Anderson wakes up in a mental institution. He is told he is really Todd Bergstrom, a famous author. Todd refuses to take his medicine. After doctors show him news clippings and news footage of his suicide, he believes he is crazy and must stay at the hospital and accept their help. Part of him still wants to know why he is hospitalized, and another patient gives Todd clues that everything isn t what it seems in the hospital. Todd climbs through air ducts to find the truth. After being caught, he is subjected to harsh treatments. An unseen person tells him if he would give up a certain code, he would be discharged from the hospital. Todd decides to comply, but he still has his doubts, and discovers something much bigger going on.
