DNF. This is either AI slop or the author writes descriptions so vaguely that it looks like AI slop.
Here’s a sample paragraph. Basically every paragraph reads like this. Vagueness. Short sentences. Descriptions in triplet.
“She moves like someone who had been constructed by intent. Early forties, lean, deliberate—a body and face that had been trained to keep information close. Her dark blonde hair was cropped so that the shoulder line read like a sentence, refusing obedience to any wind. The tailoring didn’t flirt. It instructed. Her cheekbones were sharp enough to suggest a life of choices made for affect, but the eyes were the thing that gave her away: gray and restless, the sort to catalogue a room before the first word was offered. Not pretty in any distracted way. Effective. Habitual. A presence that required review rather than comfort.”

WOW!!! Absolutely recommend. This book was exciting, packed with awesome details, and very well written. Read in one sitting. Addictive five star storyline. A must read.
