One party. One scent. One fate neither of them wants.
Monte has spent his senior year at Archibald Reynolds College doing everything he can to avoid distractions—especially mates. He prefers solitude, mountains, and rock climbing to frat parties and forced fun. Love can wait. Fate can wait. Or so he thinks.
Zoey Rey is everywhere—and nowhere. President of Theta. Viral product influencer. The most desired woman on campus. Behind the cameras and confidence, she’s a wolf shifter hiding her truth, battling imposter syndrome, and carrying the weight of expectations she never asked for.
When Monte is dragged to a mandatory Theta event, fate strikes hard and fast. One look. One breath. One undeniable truth.
Mate.
What should be sacred becomes chaos as instinct collides with fear, ambition, and timing. Zoey doesn’t have room in her life for a mate. Monte doesn’t want one at all. And walking away might be the most dangerous choice they can make.
Because fate doesn’t take no for an answer.
Wolf’s Fate is a steamy paranormal romance packed with true mates, possessive wolves, emotional slow burn, forced proximity, and the pull of destiny you can’t outrun.
Julie Trettel is a USA Today Bestselling Author of Paranormal Romance. She comes from a long line of story tellers. Writing has always been a stress reliever and escape for her to manage the crazy demands of juggling time and schedules between work and an active family of six. In her “free time,” she enjoys traveling, reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
I love the mix of adorableness and depth these two give off. They both have stuff they are going through and I love seeing how real they were. There were some darker moments and how they were dealt with was real. The Dean again reminded me how much I don’t like him. I’m glad Monte had his Alpha on his side.
I always love her books and this one is no exception! As soon as it released I paused whatever else I was reading and breezed through this one the same day. Monte and Zoe were so sweet and just overall a feel good romance!
I started reading then got bad. Why? Because I get so caught up in these books that I had to and wanted to finish reading it all at once. Great storytelling and wonderful characters. Can’t wait to learn about the juniors---keep them coming.
Like all Julie's books this book does not disappoint. Another One True Mate connection is made and 2 lives joined. It was an easy read and a great addition to this author's world.
Julie Trettel is one of my "must read" authors and this book did not disappoint.
In all fairness I have to say ARC is one my favourite series of hers. They all seem to have just the right amount of drama. Added to a wee forced proximity trope in this book and it was just mwah (chef's kiss as the young uns say :-D).
Monte and Zoey make a sweet couple but they are very different from each other and have their own obstacles to overcome. I loved Zoey, her struggles with imposter syndrome really hit home, I also loved how Monte did not always get it right in his attempts to help. The communication between the two was a fantastic work in progress.;'
If you like shifters, if you like fated mates, if you like a wee bit of spice that doesn't overwhelm the plot, if you need a HEA read Julie Trettel, you'll not be disappointed.
I just love all of Julie's books and this is no exception 🥰 definitely kept my emotions on the edge and I was on the edge of my seat a couple times. So happy to see how the story worked out and can't wait for more of the series 🥰
This was another good installment in the ARC shifters series from Julie Trettel. I really like how some more contemporary issues are coming up in the most recent books and the Easter egg crossovers with the Westin and Collier series are also great!
I have not read a book yet of Julie T, That I have been disappointed with. I can’t put them down which sets me back in other things needing done but I’ll worry about them later. Great book
I enjoyed going back to ARC and seeing the guys in the DOG House. Its fun to watch them find and woo their mates. Monte and Zoey were no exception. Great story.
Still one of my favourite authors I love this new series and very excited for more DOG adventures! Highly recommend her other Westin and collier books too!
