Bridget never meant to lie about sleeping with the sexy bartender—but a little revenge against an awful ex never hurt anyone, right?
Until her ex twists the story and threatens her reputation in small-town Hemlock Point. Bridget needs damage control before his lies derail her marketing career completely.
Enter a charming bartender with tattoos, a mysterious past, and zero interest in staying in one place. A fake relationship could restore her damaged credibility. In exchange, Bridget agrees to help get his best friend's bar back on track.
Except the fake kisses start feeling real. The pretend dates turn into genuine connection. And the wandering bartender who swore he'd never settle down finds himself falling for the sunshine girl who makes him want to stay.
A fake dating, small-town Valentine’s Day romance with found family and a little spice.
"Perfectly Fake" by Sarah Neesan is a cute novella. It is well written and makes you feel for the characters. Bridget just broke up with her situationship and wants to forget it. When she goes to her normal bar she meets Travis. Travis is watching the bar for his friend and doesn't know what to think of the girl who just came in. When her ex tries to get her back so uses Travis as the new guy. When fake dating becomes real feelings they get their happy ending. Highly recommend. Can't wait for the next one.
Perfectly Fake by Sarah Neeson was a fun, fast-paced read with great banter and a fake-relationship trope done right. The chemistry built naturally, and I really enjoyed watching the characters drop their guards as the story unfolded. While a few moments felt a bit predictable, it didn’t take away from how entertaining and bingeable this book was. Sweet, witty, and easy to love—definitely worth the read!
Very quick read with a lot packed in. Bridget’s “boyfriend” tells her that they’re not really dating and in the pursuit of finding pass out drunkness she finds Travis. Really liked Bridget and Travis together. Their banter made me laugh and their chemistry was hot. Couldn’t ask for more, other than it being longer. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I received a digital ARC of this novella. I enjoyed Sarah’s Blue Vista Crew series, so I jumped on the chance to read another book of hers. The only down part to this book is that it’s a novella and not a full length book. Easily read in one sitting. Bridget and Travis will pull you in and you’ll want to keep turning the pages of this dual point of view fake dating love story.
Bridget and Travis´story is a nice short read about the fact that you can never know what life holds in store for you next, who would have thought that you find love shortly after a breakup or a home in a place you thought you would only stay temporarily?
A quick easy read. This is Bridget and Travis's story. A small town Bridget a long time resident and Travis's new in town. They start a fake relationship...where will it go?
