Авторката е млада и има талант, който тепърва ще се разгръща. С тази книга тя ни отправя на пътешествие в Древен Египет. Жанрово мога да я определя като приключенско фентъзи.
Идеята е интересно поднесена и впечатлява с живи и образни описания на Древен Египет. Главните герои, студентите по археология Бояна и Едвин, случайно попадат в Мемфис в търсене на мистериозен медальон. Тяхното приключение ги сплотява и поражда романтични отношения. Искам да подчертая, че акцентът е поставен върху вълнуващите изпитания, а зараждащите се чувства са само фон. Това преживяване преобръща живота им и задълбочава познанията им за египетската цивилизация.
Стилът е непретенциозен в диалозите и приключенията, но е образен за живота на древните египтяни. Четях с интерес, защото моите страсти и образование са свързани с древната история.

A wonderful adventure

This was a quick, easy, adventurous, and incredibly enjoyable read.

Alongside the characters, I learned so much about Egypt, and I loved how naturally all the historical details and information were woven into the story.

The main characters were absolutely lovely. From the very first pages, I found myself thinking, these two are definitely going to end up together.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys adventure novels with a touch of romance.

I absolutely loved The Secret Adventure. It was one of those stories that completely pulled me in from the very first chapter and never let go. Boyana and Edvin were such lovable protagonists. Their friendship, courage, and curiosity made every page enjoyable, and I found myself rooting for them throughout their journey.

The way Ancient Egypt was brought to life was simply amazing. It never felt like I was just reading a story. I felt as if I was walking through the streets of Memphis alongside the characters, discovering its mysteries with them. It is clear that the author put so much care and research into every detail, yet everything was woven naturally into the adventure.

I also really liked Amunet. He was such an intriguing character, and every scene with him made me want to keep reading. The mix of history, mystery, adventure, and a gentle touch of romance made this book even more special.

This was a fun, immersive, and heartwarming read that stayed with me long after I finished it. If you enjoy stories filled with unforgettable characters, ancient secrets, and exciting adventures, I can’t recommend The Secret Adventure enough. Will the two British students, who found themselves here in a magical way, be able to cope with the situation? 🤔

Boyana and Edvin are funny young people who immediately won me over with their ease and intelligence.

I was also impressed by one of the secondary characters, Amunet. Behind his strict appearance and position, something else is hidden. 🫣

The work of collecting historical facts is undeniable.

The book is easy and quick to read, suitable for people who prefer romantic and adventure stories.

It is clear that the young author has talent! I am looking forward to her next books! 🤩

The Secret Adventure was a truly intriguing read that kept me hooked from beginning to end. I absolutely fell in love with the main characters, Boyana and Edvin. Their personalities were so vivid and well-crafted that they felt real and easy to connect with.

The time travel element was another highlight for me. It was executed really well and blended seamlessly into the story. It’s clear the author did extensive research on ancient Egypt, and it truly shows. The way those scenes were written was incredible. I felt completely immersed, as if I were walking through ancient Memphis myself, with its bustling streets and grand palaces coming to life right in front of my eyes.

I also really enjoyed some of the side characters from the modern-day timeline. Boyana’s and Edvin’s friends added fun, charm, and extra layers to the story, making the world feel even more complete.

The book gave me strong The Mummy and Indiana Jones vibes, which made the adventure even more exciting. I’d definitely recommend it to fans of those films, as well as to anyone who loves engaging adventures, compelling characters, and, of course, the fascinating world of ancient Egypt.

If you like ancient Egypt vibes, a slow-burn rivals to lovers romance, and Indiana Jones-esque adventure, this book is for you. I had a really good time reading this. The relationship between Boyana and Edvin was believable and their interactions definitely pulled me along, wanting me to read the next chapter. But of greater interest to me was the quest they were on, driven by their academic pursuits (I won't say more to avoid spoilers). I always prefer books with a deeper plot and challenge beyond a romantic entanglement. This book has that in spades.
Kozareva's writing is sharp and solidly written for a debut novel. Her knowledge of ancient Egypt also shines and escalates the overall quality of the book.

They say the pyramids weren't built overnight - and neither was this book. Writing this story took me more time, patience and nerves than I expected, but every sacrifice was worth it. The journey back in time to Ancient Egypt exhausted me, I lost a few of those nine "cat" lives along the way, but I'm proud of what was born in the end. This story is my Egypt - majestic, mysterious and eternal.

I really enjoyed The Secret Adventure. I’m already a fan of both historical fiction and time-travel stories, so the idea of two Egyptology students being transported back to ancient Egypt immediately appealed to me.

I don’t know a lot about the history of ancient Egypt, which actually made the story even more interesting to me. I enjoyed being immersed in the setting and learning about the time period as the story unfolded. The book is very descriptive, and I could easily picture the characters, surroundings, and events as I was reading.

I also really liked the main characters and enjoyed watching the relationship between them develop. The combination of adventure, history, time travel, and romance worked really well for me and kept me interested in what was going to happen next.

Overall, this was an interesting and enjoyable read, especially for someone who likes historical fiction, time travel, and romance.
