"What did you do?" "What I should have done the moment I met you."
In the Kingdom of Tamlin, fifty Wiccans are chosen each year to compete in a set of deadly trials. For Lunar Witch, Vivian Cresswell, this has become her fate and her life-long goal, after her sister's death which took place within a rendition of the trials. Since then, Vivian has vowed she will avenge her sister and put a stop to the trials, but most importantly, kill her sister's killer. The King, himself.
When Vivian finds herself in the mix of this year's Termination Trials, she is closer than ever to avenging her sister's death. The only problem? She is fighting along side the King's second hand man, Lawrence Vandale. Lawrence is everything Vivian hates. Rich, cocky and a flirt.
Vivian promises herself she will not let anything get in her way of avenging her sister, but as her and Lawrence spend more time together, her hatred for him slowly begins to blend into something different entirely. He is a royal, a self-proclaimed monster, but when around him, the line between love and hate seem to become more and more blurred.
And things only get more confusing when, after spending time in the palace, Vivian soon learns that everything she thought she once knew about her sister's death to be a lie...
Packed with romance, tension, nail biting betrayals and twists, 'A Curse of Poisoned Hearts' hits the spot for all lovers of romantasy, enemies to lovers, mystery, magic and twists.

This book was griping the whole way through,as a busy person and a slow reader I found it was easy to jump back into reading it whenever. The plot twist was definitely unexpected and that’s something I love about this book, you don’t expect what will happen next. The ending was very gripping to read and very surprising. This book definitely had a full circle moment and I really did love reading it.
