I did not like this book. It’s written like the author’s telling you what happens instead of you getting to experience it along side the MMCs.
Also MAJORLY annoying that the timeline is off and that the author wrote the book like winter is when hockey players have their off-season and that the actual hockey season runs over the summer!
I enjoyed this story. The clash, the connection, and how they were open about how they felt. We saw the weakness pple go through as life hit us. I soooo appreciate her not taking the easy way out when she found out she was pregnant, its easy to alwaysput yourselffirst. They both had wonderful coaches to work with them, and care for them. The very real issue of helping the less fortunate to achieve dreams is wonderful. This story also shined a light on social media and how not everything put out there is true and how mean some people can be. The father was a real piece of work! They came full circle in career love and family. THANK YOU 🎉
This book was okay, but the pacing moved too quickly. The romance developed almost instantly, so there was little tension or emotional buildup. The story did not deliver a clear enemies to lovers dynamic. The male lead also did not come across as the arrogant hockey player as the synopsis suggested. My biggest issue was the Olympic storyline. The heroine qualifies while pregnant, which could have been inspiring. Instead, the book frames it like the end of her dream rather than a temporary pause before competing again. The story itself felt rushed, and the formatting was distracting.
This was cute. Extremely fast paced and very fast paced relationship as well. It wasn’t really a slow burn and nor was it an enemies to lovers and it was not grumpy and sunshine.
I don’t know where to place it , it seemed very rush but good story telling, short writing and shifted topics fast .
Also can I just say how much I hateee when authors will write about girls or young women getting pregnant and having to give up their dreams to now raise that baby? It’s so annoying
Though it clearly worked out well for them it’s just a trope I really can’t stand.

This was a fun read about a hockey player trying to prove he fits into this world because of skill and not his money and a figure skater with a dream to be an Olympian in a sport that few like her compete in. Their chemistry is strong and the romance feels realistic but fairytale. The awesome sauce is the sports setting that adds the extra layer that made the story even more enjoyable. Although a bit predictable still enjoyed the premise of the story.
Very good story/romance! The author did a good job but there were a few inconsistencies in the story. I wanted to know more. Where's her parents? Where's his father? Did they resolve their issues? Overall it's a good read.
