Powerful and moving story that is filled with unforgettable characters. Heartache and struggles from the past come to light, allowing for healing for Noah and Tayte. Agnes is a character that will tug at your heartstrings. The way her character was written was really well done. She is full of light and hope but her mind is being taken over by dementia. Those chapters from her point of view were so well done! I loved watching how she was cared for by a couple of characters in the book. It was very tender and their patience with her was very sweet. But they also have frustrations as the disease is no respecter of persons and causes pain and sorrow and frustrations.

I loved watching each character go through their arc and seeing their growth and change and understanding come about. Beautiful story showing human nature and the ability we all have to change and become better people, regardless of where we're at in life. I also loved the sense of community and family that was throughout the story.

There's a mystery and I loved how it all unfolded. I loved the healing that came about. There's sorrow and heartache but there's also love and healing and friendship and family and forgiveness. This book is full of beauty. I loved listening to Lisa Swinton as she narrated the different characters' voices and story. She did a fabulous job bringing this story to life for me!

Content: Clean. The book does talk about death, cancer, dementia, childhood neglect and abuse. But it was written in a way that I felt was sensitive and understanding. Some kisses but nothing further. No language.

I received a copy of the audiobook from the author/narrator. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Listening (Reading)!!!
