this was a great conclusion to the series. it was a good mix of spice, missions, and taking down the Human Resistance Network. i also like seeing Rune and her mates go on real missions to see what their future would be like after they graduated.

me also every time Lyra left an easter egg: 👀
at first i was like… how did it turn out??? but now i’m even more intrigued about these potential stories.

but also, someone needs to get Rune into therapy. that girl went through sooo much shit with Darian and the humans and had to relive aaaalll of it constantly and just took it on the chin.

another great series by Lyra Winters. can’t wait for the next series 🖤💚🐍

thank you Lyra Winters for an e-ARC of 𝓐𝓹𝓮𝔁 𝓔𝓵𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓐𝓬𝓪𝓭𝓮𝓶𝔂: 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻 4

So like always do not read if you do not want spoilers. I REPEAT. DO. NOT. READ. IF. YOU. DO. NOT. WANT. SPOILERS. BECAUSE I WILL BE SPOILING THIS ONE.

I’m actually writing this review as I’m reading.
I will not give you context for what I’m about to quote, but I just found it funny. Not funny in the ha ha that’s hilarious type funny. Funny in the sense of it’s hypocritical and baffling.
“ As if you supernaturals can feel actual emotion. You think crying over him makes you human? Makes you a victim? You’re monsters! All of you, but you put a pretty face on it. You pretend your pain matters more than ours.” why I’m saying this is hypocritical is because the same person that said that quote said this next one. “You killed my mate. {Redacted}….. he ended up being my mate. I found out in year two.” The same person then goes on to tell Rune that he told her everything about how she’s a liar and all this other stuff. If you read the actual sentence or monologue or whatever you wanna call it at 92%, then you don’t understand why I called this character hypocritical.

Anyways. Rune and her guys are still fighting against the one faction of human that decided to be asswipes. You find out more people are on their side throughout the series and people who were close to her family or were on the council.

This book also showcase that hybrids do in fact exist. I called that. I told my husband that it was gonna happen eventually. Kind of excited to know that I was proven right. I don’t want to spoil too much but there’s a few characters names that were dropped and family situations that were given in this series that I know are a possibility for future FMC‘s. I am intrigued to find out more about these characters.

You know one part of this book is them being able to go to AP and infiltrate it as their final test. It made me wonder how the hell did Sybil escape? If you remember her from Pandora series. I think that would be so awesome to get a series that’s out of Apex Penitentiary. Like wrongfully convicted or their crime wasn’t as bad as someone thought or whatever. I think they’d be pretty cool. Especially with like trying to figure out how the penitentiary is itself. Since we got to see how hard it is to get into it. Which again was pretty awesome.

Also, I wish I could make scenes come to life because the dance toward the end of the book would’ve been perfect. That entire chapter and then the whole fight scene after that. Chefs kiss. Would be so awesome to watch happen in actual like video creation.

I also absolutely love the family dynamic throughout the entire book and series. Mason was a welcome surprise and I hope we see him again at some point. What I will say I’m a little sad about is that we didn’t meet the twins in this book. I just know they’re gonna be Aspens but like I really wish we had met them. Also, I am so intrigued by her character and cannot wait to see more from her.

Honestly, this book just wrapped up the series perfectly. All the threats are neutralized. But I will say there are some threads that were left open on purpose. Like the one case they were working on, with the kelpie. The hybrid and how her dual natures are fighting against each other. Octavia’s case. Obviously if we’re gonna talk about threads that were left open then Melody’s from Pandora series. And I love the way she did it because you just know that it was to pull us in so we’d be invested to know what happens later. I’m sure there’s other others. I’m forgetting about at the moment, but I’m tired and my brain’s not functioning properly.

I absolutely loved the series though. I just wish it was longer. I also wish we had more bonding moments with Bram in this one. I also wanna just point out that they’re heavily based on the combat for the series and so we don’t really see her much with her mates at some point because they’re on missions. The spices there it’s just sprinkled.

I honestly don’t know how you create the world you do, but they’re phenomenal and I hope you’ve never stop writing. I cannot wait for the next world you create. I mean, I know it’s this world still for quite a few more series. Seriously though you should think about writing a book series for AP. I think it would be super intriguing. But honestly, absolutely love this seriously loved all of the characters loved the growth loved the family dynamics that were good family. Just chefs kiss

I loved this series as a whole! Really, I love the author and the world she created! Kalista is a place she created of so many amazing creatures that get classified as monsters by humans. I absolutely love that while they can be vicious and bloody thirsty, they are protective and caring of their own just as any human can be in defense of a loved one! I love all the paranormal creatures I’ve read about in her world and I absolutely loved that we got more than just your standard supernatural species and even more than just “demon”, we got subcategories of demons too! There are so many varieties of beings that you can find pretty much any supernatural category and subcategory you could think of in either this series or one of her others in this all inclusive world she created! I have been thoroughly captivated with each story line and have fell in love with each character she’s created, both main character and supporting! I equally hated the villains she created. I mourned with the main characters when they had trials and shared in their victories and happy endings! I got lost in this world in the best way and can’t wait for more, which is on its way!

This series particularly, I enjoyed trying to figure out who the enemies were in the beginning and looking for clues! I totally guessed who the double agents were soon on, but still enjoyed highlighting facts to support my theory throughout!

This series brought heartache, romance, suspense, mystery, action, thrill and danger all rolled into one storyline! This author really did it all and then some! Not to mention the FMC has 6 mates she doesn’t have to choose between who are protective, possessive and fiercely loyal and loving towards her!

In addition I also really appreciated her doing this series as a rapid release! Don’t get me wrong there can be suspense and build up when there’s a longer wait time in between, however I’m too impatient for that! I typically like my series completed before I start, however because it was only a month in between, I actually did start it prior to any of the others being out yet and was able to take my time enjoying each one throughout the month, while being ready and waiting just as the next one popped up! Although I did demolish the second and part of the 3rd quickly upon release because the cliffhangers from the previous books just had me reeling and I had to know, even though I’d already guessed the bad characters, what would happen after how they were left off.

If you’re looking for a little of everything supernatural and a plot that has it all, while also being why choose, look no further! This is a one stop shop for all of that and more!

ARC Review:

I both loved and hated this book. I loved it as it was the end of the series but it is also why I hate that it was end of the series. But I did see some small cliff hangers that were not resolved by the end of the book.

One cliff hanger is where the baby boy dragon came from that they found in the village and why were centaur's the foster parents? Also what happened before to the twins who escaped before and what if any info on the cult they could have?

Another cliffhanger is the whole scene with the daughters that they went undercover to try and find out what happened with that whole situation. Maybe both will be resolved along with whatever is going on with the sirens people.

Rune and her men brought the hammer down on the humans who tormented so many supernatural's and as unfortunate circumstances as to why Alice and her family started doing what they do but it isn't enough of a reason as to do it.

The whole scene with the lake and serial killer I wish got a bit more time but hopefully comes full circle in the next series.

The ending was just so sweet and I love seeing hints of the future for everyone. I will never tire of Lyra Winters books how much fun and twists each new series brings. In this case Rune and her men for this series not only grew their own family but show so much of their own family's as well. It was so much fun seeing how family life is their world and how have different species being together affects the children ( the first ever hybrid being born and actually making it to adulthood despite everyone believing it would never happen blew my mind and how it affects her every day life ).

The Revenge We've Been Waiting For
I loved, loved, loved reading this one. Not only to we get to see the final exam for graduation, but I also had some of my own theories come to light that I've been suspecting throughout the series, and I appreciate how the author ties things from Year 1 all the way to Year 4. Remember you'll need to read these in order. I find that starting from the beginning at Fates Hallow Academy helpful too because of the character crossovers's you'll see, but each academy can be read by iteself. The individual academies do have to be read in their year order though so start with Apex Elite Year 1 if you're new to this series. This is a supernatural reverse harem where our girl Rune has six mates. And once again, little glimpse into the next series, which I very much appreciate.

Our character, Rune, has been through quite a bit already, and now, it seems like having nightmares about her ex is a new fun thing she's getting to do. While they are trying to figure out where Allison and her family and network of evil are hiding, more is happening. Rune's DNA is being used to enhance humans, more supernaturals are being taken and expirimented on, and the human council can't seem to find anything. Trying to balance time with all her guys is difficult because of how busy they are on missions, I loved the dates hidden throughout this book to spend time together (Poor Koa). Rune, being the only one immune to the tourmalyke will have a lot on her plate.

What a fantastic conclusion to the Apex Elite Academy series!

After following Rune and her journey, this final installment delivered everything I hoped for action, emotion, found family, growth, heartbreak, and triumph.

Watching Rune evolve throughout this series has been one of my favorite parts, and in this book she truly steps into her power even more. She's fierce, determined, and willing to do whatever it takes to protect the people she loves.

As Rune and her mates enter their final year at Apex Elite Academy, tensions reach a breaking point. The battle against the humans, the Whettlocks, and those secretly working alongside them becomes more dangerous than ever. With threats coming from both humans and supernaturals, the stakes are incredibly high, and the story keeps you invested from beginning to end.

Rune handled every challenge like the absolute badass she is. Her loyalty, strength, and determination shine throughout the book as she fights to protect not only her loved ones but the entire supernatural community. The action scenes were exciting, the emotional moments hit hard, and the bonds between the characters felt stronger than ever.

One thing Lyra continues to do exceptionally well is character development. Every character has grown so much since book one, and seeing how far they've all come made this ending even more meaningful. The found family aspect of this series has always been one of my favorite elements, and this book reminded me why I fell in love with these characters in the first place.
I also loved returning to the world of Kalista and seeing cameos from characters from Lyra's other series. Those moments felt like little gifts for longtime readers and added another layer of enjoyment to an already incredible story.

If you've been following this series from the beginning, you're going to love this finale.

This year brings a conclusion to our chaotic groups academy years, ending with high stakes missions that have them at their squad leaders beck and call, the rising stakes with the rouge human faction and the final test before officially becoming agents.

The culmination of conflict with the human faction was a satisfying read. Whilst nothing can take away the trauma that Rune and the other supernaturals faced, her direct confrontation and involvement in bringing this case to a close was needed.

The final trial before completing their agent training was so much fun to read and had me on the edge of my seat. A perfect trial containing all the skills our characters would need to utilise during cases, testing physical, emotional and psychological skills we’ve seen them train throughout the series.

Despite all this chaos Rune and her mates still find time to bicker, squabble and banter, as well as go on dates (Koa my love I’m so sorry for laughing) and the evolution we’ve experienced through out the series has been a true joy. From some mates in denial, some nervous and others absolutely adamant of their pending mate bond to a cohesive cohort of wholesome chaos, these characters have truly wormed their way into my heart. As to be expected from Lyra’s work honestly.

I have truly enjoyed every instalment of this series and it has become another beloved series from Kalista that i will always recommend. As much as it saddens me that Apex Academy has come to its epic conclusion, I truly cannot wait to see whatever Lyra is going to bless us with next.

What an ending, I really didn't want this series to end. I really don't like saying goodbye to these beautiful characters i have fallen in love with.

Lyra did such a beautiful job at bringing everything together. Rune and some of her mates enter 4th year with the knowledge that her Venom is being used against supernaturals. Rune stops at nothing to make sure no one ever steels her Venom again whilst also trying to complete Year 4 level assignments so she can graduate.

I definitely think Lyra left us some little hints about the future such as Mason, the sweet baby dragon, Octavia and the sweet hybrid Opal. I have so many questions....

The ending was so beautiful and wholesome and I am hoping we'll see Rune and her mates in the future because they are literally amazing!!!

Read this series.

Thank you Lyra and your beautiful team for the opportunity to read this story and to be a part of your ARC team. I am forever grateful 🙏

Apex Academy Year 4 was everything I hoped it would be and more! I absolutely loved this book and honestly wish the story didn’t have to end. Lyra did such an amazing job tying all of the storylines together and giving readers a satisfying conclusion while still making it incredibly emotional to say goodbye to these characters.

Rune and her mates have become my favorite group of characters, and this book reminded me exactly why. Their relationships, growth, loyalty, and love for each other made every chapter impossible to put down. Zuko and Drecken especially stole my heart. Every scene with them had me smiling, swooning, or completely invested in what would happen next.

One of my favorite things about this series is how different it feels from Lyra’s previous books while still delivering the action, romance, mystery, and emotional moments that make her stories so addictive. The final book wrapped up the journey beautifully and gave these characters the ending they deserved.

I’m not ready to let Rune and her mates go, but I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion. This series will definitely be one I’ll reread again and again. If you’ve been following Rune’s journey from the beginning, Apex Academy Year 4 is the perfect ending to an unforgettable series.

I KNEW it! I knew something was going to end up happening with Vel I just knew it!
Also I’m OBSESSED with this series!
Every other review I’ve shared for this series talks about how much I love Rune and that’s still so true she is such a badass
Everything comes to a head and we get an amazing conclusion to the human problem.
I love that the bonds are there and they are all training to become badass agents (they are already kind badass though) and even when Rune is in some dangerous situations they don’t hold her back or keep her from doing what she wants/needs to no matter how much they worry.

It really is such an amazing series I’ve loved everything by Lyra Winters that I’ve read so far and Rune and her mates might just tie up with Wren and her mates for my favorites!
I love being back in Kalista with all the cameos from the other characters in different series in this same world it really felt complete!

I’m beyond grateful to have been able to ARC read not just this book but the entire series!!

Apex Elite Academy: Year 4 is the final book in the series, and I really enjoyed it. The human resistance continues to ramp up their attacks against supernaturals through kidnappings and murders while Rune and her mates are trying to finish their time at the academy and become agents for the Supernatural Council.

The story picks up when the humans make the mistake of targeting Rune, which ultimately leads to the discovery of their hidden lab and the downfall of the people responsible. It was satisfying to finally see everything come together and watch the villains face the consequences of their actions.

What I loved most about this book was the ending. It wrapped up Rune’s story perfectly and gave her and her mates the happily ever after they deserved. After spending four books with these characters, it’s hard to say goodbye. While I’m sad the series is over, I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion. This was a fun series from start to finish and I definitely can’t wait to see what Lyra has for us next!!

4.5 stars!
What a way to finish the series. This really gave me the satisfying ending I was looking for. Everyone got what was coming to them, good and bad. We got to see Dimitri wrap up his old life, a new family starting for Jasper's mum and aunt, Koa was already sorted out as was Zuko and Slater. I love how they settle into Drecken's home to make it their own. Their final trial and spies was pretty cool. I had been wondering how that final trial was going to go considering how intense the previous trials had been. I particularly love how the human faction was finally ended. Zuko's new spider pet is so horrifying I love him.
I really liked that Rune already knew who she was and owned her strength from the start of this series unlike the previous two series in this world. Don't get me wrong I love the character development you can see when someone has to build themselves up but Rune's confidence and self assuredness was nice to see. I am so curious about the next series in Kalista!

This is the 4th and final book in this particular series, Apex Academy. We follow Rune and her mates as they complete their journey into becoming agents.

I really loved following along the series as we got to the bottom of the Human Resistance Network. Having the over arching plot through these 4 books just really helped things flow so much and I love how it came around full circle. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I think everyone will be satisfied with how it turns out, but it also leaves the door open for future series as we don’t finish all the open cases. So exciting!

I loved Rune. She was such a strong and confident FMC. We saw her waver a bit sometimes, but ultimately she was so strong and brave and capable. Her mates were supportive and were always there to help her along. Yum. They all really came into their own over these 4 books. I’m sad it’s done, but really looking forward to future books in this universe!

I received an advance copy of this book in return for my honest review.

Apex Elite Academy: Term 4 was beyond amazing, and I absolutely hate to see this series come to an end! I have loved following Rune and her mates throughout this journey.

The action, drama, and emotions kept me hooked from beginning to end. Watching everything unfold and seeing what Rune and her mates got up to was so satisfying. The revenge at the end was absolutely perfect—honestly even better than I had expected! There was also a twist involving a traitor that I had been suspicious about for a while, and seeing that suspicion confirmed was incredibly satisfying.

Lyra continues to amaze me with every book she writes. Her storytelling is captivating, her characters are unforgettable, and once you start reading, it’s impossible to put the book down. Every page had me completely invested in the story.

This was the perfect ending to an incredible series. While I’m sad to say goodbye to these characters, I can’t wait to see what series Lyra brings us next!

Absolutely loved this book but hated that this is the ending. Even knowing we will be having more book series in the world of Kalista I know we are getting Aspen's book but I'm also hoping for a Melody book getting more into the sirens and a Opal book for bit more info on hybrids I honestly can't wait.

And just when I thought the way Koa dies can't get any funnier I am proven wrong.
This book had me in tear happy when it came to baby Mason but so sad when it came to Seth I didn't see that coming!
Also Vel finally also get's her ending let's face it she was giving weird vibes from book 1.

Love that we get to see the future of everyone being happy after all the years I honestly hope we get to see more of them as spies maybe in some of the other books always love it when we get a cameo of past characters.

This series was so fun to read, action packed, spice and probably the most deaths ever (in a good way).

It is here the fourth and final book of the Apex Elite Academy. As always we start where the last one finished. I don't really want to go to much into it because then I might spoil the other books but we still have Rune up to her tricks trying new posions and things you know her family and mates don't want her to just in case this is the one that she isn't really immune to...I love it. We also have the guys being their obsessive selfs and doting on her and kicking butts and taking naps in the sim and real life experiences. But also the humans continue to be up to their shenanigans doing things that could end the treaty if not stopped. Lyra definitely has a few other side characters I am eyeing for possible world expansions...and to tell you the truth I want both of them.. can we please have both of them I am so intrigued and need more. All in all it was a great ending to her series as always. I highly anticipate and hope for more for this world because it can't be over yet!

What an amazing ending to the Apex Academy series!!! Term 4 was an amazing read, and I loved getting to follow Rune and her mates throughout their journey. I was on the edge of my seat and couldn't put the book down. There was so much that happened throughout their story that Year 4 did an amazing job wrapping it up. Everyone who did wrong got what they deserved. They find out that Rune's venom is being used against other supernaturals, and Rune makes sure that no one can ever steal her venom again, all while they are trying to complete their last year assignments to graduate. Rune handled each problem she was faced with with absolute certainty, like the awesome badass she is. The problem with the humans was solved with a satisfying ending. The perfect trial for their final assignment was a great and fun read.
Year 4 was a satisfying ending to the series. I can't wait to see what else Lyra writes next!

Apex Elite Academy: Year 4 is an action-packed and emotionally satisfying finale that brings Rune’s journey to an epic close. With the Human Resistance Network escalating its attacks and targeting those closest to her and her mates, the stakes have never been higher.

I loved how Lyra Winters balanced the larger supernatural conflict with the strong relationship dynamics that have made this series so addictive. The bonds between Rune and her mates feel fully developed, and their loyalty, teamwork, and devotion shine throughout the story.

The pacing is fast, the action is intense, and the emotional moments hit just as hard. Rune’s growth from student to powerful leader was one of the most rewarding parts of the series, and the ending provided the perfect mix of closure and excitement.

A fantastic conclusion for fans of reverse harem romance, paranormal academies, found family, and protective mates.

🥰🤩Lyra Winters you’ve done it again🤩🥰

The Apex Elite Academy series has been amazing and I was totally blindsided at the end of every book, especially at the end of Book 3……which was a total ‘Mic Drop’ moment, that actually made me gasp out loud😱.
The whole journey with Squad One has been riveting and I have no doubt that I will hear more from Rune and her mates in the future.
I love that you included Pandora and her mates from the Demon Reform Academy series……and some potential characters that I hope to read about in the future……yeah I would love to hear more about Aspen Draconis🙏🙏🙏
I have become an avid fan but most of all……I really love that these books were released close together and that you didn’t put me through months of torture waiting for the next book in the series which drives me (an Adorable Fruitloop) totally crazy

This is the final action packed book in the Apex Elite Academy series and I can honestly say that it doesn't disappoint. The conflict with the humans keeps ramping up while Rune and her mates are also trying to finish their training at the academy. After a series full of suspense, twists, and turns, Lyra does well with wrapping up the series. The team's final trials had me on the edge of my seat and I was pleased with how to conflict with the humans and their co-conspirators ended.

Throughout the series, I have appreciated how the characters have grown and how Rune and her mates came together. Rune maintains her badass status throughout the series and she doesn't back down. I've read every series in this universe and will continue to pick up books that are set in this world. Cheers to another good series being complete but with sadness that the ride is over.

I absolutely love the world building Lyra does in her books! It catches you hopk, line, and sinker! I have never disliked any one of her books in any of her series! She does an amazing job keeping you captivated.

In this last book Rune and her mates grew sooo much! Not just in this book but the entire series! I love the back and forth between her (the banter is to die for!) and all her mates. I adore that she still sticks to her true bada** and snarky self throughout the series and this latest book and doesn't let her past/trauma bring her down and it makes her stronger ! I also love the fact that the humans best weapon against the supernatural can't be used against her bc she is immune to it, which makes her being a spy perfect. Also the humans are awful, iykyk.

Anyways you are missing out if you haven't read any of of Lyra's books! They are amazing!

Thank you to the author for this opportunity to read this book ahead of the release. I enjoy being on this ARC team.

This is Year 4 and the Final year at Apex academy for Rune and her mates. This year different From the previous tree years as its about giving the student real experience and testing them to ensure they are ready as agents, including sending the on real missions. You generally get a satisfied resolution to everything that the other 3 books have been leading up to. I appreciated the realistic nepotism in this book. I think there were a few lulls in this book that i didnt feel as much in the other three, but i still enjoyed it and had to read to find out how everything turns out. I love the new pet spider in this book.

I love this and I’m so sad to see the ending of this series. I will say.Koa’s accidents for some of my favorite, especially at the beach. It’s a very good thing that this man was born is a Phoenix cause if not, he would not have survived his childhood getting to see the rest of the guys come into their own and grow with the confidence of being full agents and watching Rune come in to herself and face the issues of her past and her protectiveness of her guys this does end in an HEA and there is an option for a download of some extra content that I highly suggest that you read as well. I’ve enjoyed my time at Apex elite Academy, and I’m sad to see it in, but I am intrigued to see what happens next

I think what I love the most about Lyras books is that no matter how much hardships and turbulence in the main characters lives, I know that it will all be okay :) this final book in the apex elite academy series did just that. I was always in suspense on what would happen next and I had no idea how it would end which is the best feeling while still feeling the comfort that my favs would most likely not die! I’m also so excited to see how she’ll continue the plot between humans and supernaturals in her next series! Definitely recommend reading all Lyra winters series as they are all just as fantastic as this one was ! Will be sad to be done this series but patiently (or trying to be) waiting for the next !!

Wow, I can't believe we're at the end of Rune and her mate's story. 💗I have loved every second of this series. From the simulator missions, to the mate bonds finally snapping into place to that ending, I was hooked the entire time.

...

I'm honestly not ready to say goodbye to these characters. I wish there were more, but I'm already counting down the days until the next series. Lyra Winters has officially become one of my favorite authors, and every book just reminds me why.

...

I'm so grateful I got the chance to read an ARC copy of this series. What a perfect way to wrap up an amazing series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

SWEET REVENGE!

Im so happy for Rune and the whole of Kalista for getting rid of the Human Resistance Network. The revenge/ karma in this book was phenomenal. Chefs kiss. The way Allison’s Dad died… priceless. That couldn’t have been written better. Allison’s fate is also perfect. Very much deserved and karmic. Like Year 3, there was a lot more “physical action” than “spicy action” than I feel we are used to in a Lyra Winters book, but I’m here for it. The character development is great and I really love getting to see the whole team working together on the missions. Overall great read and I’m a little sad to see Rune and her mates go! I’m very excited to see what’s next though!

I always feel a bit less motivated to finish a book I know is the last one in a series and this book was the same. It took a little more time to read it but the time was well spent. I will not give away any spoilers this time but I will say that it was a book that really tide up all our loose ends and storylines but also gave us some new interesting tvists that can give us more books in the future. Lyra is an amazing writer that gives us so much love, action and excitement in her books. A bit of heartache is also there but it just heightens the thrill of reading until the happy endings.
Thank you Lyra for our escape into you’re books and amazing world of Calista.

Apex Elite Academy: Year 4 - Lyra Winters

This is the final book in the Apex Elite Academy series and I've been desperate for it.

The simulations and missions were detailed and tense and kept me on the edge of my seat. Especially the final trial.. I was gripped.

The firedrake baby Mason and Cthulhu were my fave new additions ❤️

Loved how comfortable Rune was in her relationship with her mates by the final book and the found family feel with the extended family was chef's kiss.

I'm an absolute sucker for a nerdy MMC so Drecken was top tier for me.

Satisfying ending and I loved the epilogue and the what's next for Kalista had me buzzing

We are back with Rune and her mates. It is now year 4 for them. We have seen Rune and her mates going through a lot on this series. This final book of Rune’s and her mates will leave you gasping in suspense, laughing at their antics, and angry for them all throughout its journey. As with all of Lyra Winters stories you take the journey right alongside these amazing characters. They feel like friends that are saying farewell when we reach the end of their series. I love in this one we got to see glimpses of Pandora and her mates. The story had me on the edge of my seat unable to put it down. I absolutely love how it ends and it truly doesn’t disappoint.

I am so sad it's the end of this series and I am hoping we will see more of Rune and her mates in other books. I do not want to spoil anything but will say the growth from Year 1 to Year 4 was ao good to read. Rune really came into her own and is fierce in what she will do to stop things from happening again.

There was everything you could want in this book. Had me holding my breath while reading and also so emotional. Lyra brought everything together and just created such a great books.

There was also what I feel were some Easter eggs here and there about what there possibly be coming in the future. Fingers crossed. Such a great ending for this series. Just loved it.
