I came to Alpha Love Getaway for the paycheck, the experience, and the faint hope that an alpha breaking my body hadn’t also broken me. I didn’t come looking for princes, crowns, or a future decided by tradition and cameras.
And I definitely didn’t come looking for them.
The Ashbourne Pack is everything I was warned about—powerful, disciplined, untouchable.
The flirty noble playboy, charming enough to make the cameras love him. The ex–professional boxer turned security expert, built like a weapon and just as controlled. The professor with a steady voice and sharp mind, whose competitive streak only comes out when he wants to win. The prince bound by duty, trained to sacrifice love without flinching. And the beta hidden from the world, essential, loved—and never acknowledged.
Alphas trained to protect, to lead, to choose what’s best for the crown instead of what their hearts want. A pack that already knows how this story is supposed to end.
But I don’t fit their script.
I work too hard. I feel too deeply. I believe in things they call fairytales—fated mates, chosen family, love that burns instead of obeys. I’m not polished enough to be royal, not obedient enough to be easy, and not willing to be someone’s obligation instead of their choice.
The cameras want drama. The queen wants control. The pack wants to do what’s right.
And I just want to survive this with my heart intact.
Because no matter how safe they make me feel… No matter how good they are at taking care of me… No matter how badly I wish things could be different…
i would have given this book 4 stars, but i DESPISED the fact that Ren just forgave the alphas for how they treated her during the kissing challenge. i didn’t love forsythe and how brainwashed he was by his sense of duty to the crown. it led to him making MANY questionable decisions for the pack and hurting ren multiple times.
i think this book was fun and fast to read. i couldn’t put it down and read it in basically one sitting. the ending wasn’t my favorite, but i know it was to set the stage for book 2 so i can look past it.
can we PLEASE bring back making the mmc(s) GROVEL when they mess up?! there were moments where i felt like it was just glossed over and excused simply because it would keep the romance flowing. i was more angry for ren then she was for herself!!
anyways, i liked this book but its flaws did dock the enjoyment a bit.
Riveted. If you like The Bachelor, this is your OV version of it. I really want to give this 4⭐️ but the MMCS, specifically the prince, are all dumbasses. I just feel like they're all cowards. Piers deserves better, Florence deserves better, I know the grovel won't be good because good grovel is hard to come by now adays. As a former competitive cheerleader I appreciate the reference.
I’ve never read a book in a reality tv show setting. The emotional pain here is incredible and it gradually, weaving itself throughout the story before completely blindsiding you by the end. The story follows a female main character struggling with PTSD after a traumatic experience involving an alpha, and hopes to regain her confidence around alphas in a controlled setting, so she joins a scentless reality dating show but it’s a “special season” featuring royalty. Shortly after arriving, she's told that she isn't considered a suitable candidate to become the pack's omega because she's both American and lowborn, but stays to work through her fears. She gets to meet the guys, challenges are made for drama, and there are elimination rounds. Everything build up and the last thing she expects is to start developing feelings for the very alphas she never intended to want. This has been a definite good read so far, and it’s my first in this setting and refreshing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is exactly what it presents to be. A omegaverse why choose romance. FMC rejected because her love interests can’t pull their heads out of their issues by the end of book 1.
I’ve devoured other books by Tara Rose and this one’s no different. My only complaint - having to wait for book 2. There isn’t even a release date yet.
The entire time Forsythe just made me want to gnash my teeth 😂! I kept thinking that this is modern day lol, just grow a f$€£!%# backbone! Honestly he is such a coward, I came to the conclusion that he obviously doesn’t love Peirs as much as he claims too, because he really loved him he would want what’s best for him and understand it. That’s not his pack because he doesn’t deserve that being pushed constantly aside and into the shadows, he deserves some have a pack that will love him and claim him openly. That his grandmother might’ve promised him that he can claim him publicly by choosing an omega that she wants, but that Omega will never accept peers and told him so so he’s such an idiot. It makes me so angry honestly!

I really enjoyed this book but it was somewhat predictable. There is a relationship going on as well within the group with their beta which was kept to a minimum on the pages but I wish the author would put m/m in the triggers (none do and it's really starting to get to me). TBF she could have put it in and my kindle just didn't display it.
I really, really REALLY hope the grovel is good because what they've done is stupid. I have a feeling though they'll just turn up maybe say a few sorrys and that will be it. These types of books there is never a good grovel because the FMC always has "her body betrays here" syndrome. Ideally she'll recover in hospital by meeting another alternative pack who help her through everything and live ahppily ever after and not give the first pack a second thought while they live out their duty. But (again) I bet the only people who can save her will be that shit pack and then that will be that. They'll eventually get their heads out of their arses and go to her and then all happy smiles. Hopefully I'm wrong. I want her to move on and realise her self worth. I really hope something like that happens. Where a pack actually has to deal with the consequences of their actions *gasp* but it never really happens. But again hopefully the author proves me wrong and it'll be more like Dance Butterfly Dance book.
This book has all the right kind of “will they or won’t they” angst for an Omegaverse, with a little dash of rejected mate. We’re going into part two right after a rejection where Florence is sick with (the old classic) rejected mate syndrome.
The development of the pack is a little bit shaky.
Grieves: ex boxer, security tough guy Forsythe: the prince and alpha prime Thayer: the professor Court: the playboy Piers: the beta on the side
We know plenty about Forsythe, and get a few POV’s with Court. We know what’s going on with Piers. But Thayer doesn’t really have a standalone personality or background. We have only some basics for Grieves, but he does have a personality. But everything is pretty shallow. What do we really know about these men? Not much.
Not sure I’m rooting for this namby pamby pack, given that Forsythe won’t stand up to grandma and the pack won’t stand up to Forsythe. This is a pack of grown men, and they didn’t cut the apron strings when the Queen made them sideline their beta. I didn’t really buy that evil grandma is a good reason to not stand up for yourself.
This is almost a five star book, but it did have some editing flaws, typos, and a lack of development for the pack.

So, I wasn't a fan of the last book, Haven's story was well told, I just had a huge issue with her pack drugging her. Something about it really set me off. Then this book begins by her statement that her "pack of bastards", like really?? How is this romantic. I love omegaverse, I absolutely love dark omegaverse, some of it is down right, pitch black is so dark and yet I get that but this, this is too much trash labeled as romantic. I don't like it. I skipped to the middle read a few pages, than read the last 75 or so. Again no reason why this story has to be 2 books. Long books. I feel like at some point the author wanted to justify the price for those who bought the book instead of reading on KU. I like the first couple of books well enough and the dummy in me wants to read Ren get her happy ending. Her story is actually pretty good. Im just not sure it will be worth it. One more of these comments/storyline and I swear im giving all her books 1 star. Ok...maybe 2
I wasn’t sure about reading this at first because the whole reality TV is not my thing. I decided to give it a try since I loved all her other books. However, with ALL duets I read, I wait to read book one until the second book is out. (I cannot stand, waiting to see how a story plays out) I was very happily surprised! This book kept my attention from start to finish. I found the writing to be impeccable. The way the author rolled your emotions from funny, sad, suspenseful, and anger was a great ride. I loved the roller coaster! I finished this book within 24 hours and I’m excited to say I started the second book immediately!
Ren, we met her back in all that glitters with Haven, and when Frank Bell took her dance career away, one could only hope she had a redemption book coming.
Knot my fairytale is the steady of this where Ren goes on a reality TV show show a royal pack. The alphas are kinda dicks but come about and start to fall for both Ren and recall for the beta they claimed in secret but his cause the queen disapproves. So to most he's just a PA and is ignored, but Ren show them her heart and his at least until they are forced to choose between love and duty....
This was leaps and bounds better than Knot all that glitters. So if you didn’t like that book, you may love this one.
I loved the reality show aspect, because it prevents the plot from diving into sex only. Despite us knowing the outcome early on, the will they-won’t they was great. Pacing of the book was excellent, nothing moved too fast or too slow.
There was OW drama but…it’s a reality show similar to the bachelor so it’s expected as part of the plot.
My biggest issue was the grammar and spelling. There was quite a bit of issues in that department.
Loved the reality dating tv show concept more than I thought I would. The whole push and pull between the choosen mated omega that they want in Florence and the arranged bonded mate that the queen has ordered of them to take with isadora. The storyline created such good angst! Also loved the way the mm was handled here. Neither the mm nor the fm felt above one of the other. Both relationships are treated with equal importance.
✨some mm ✨omegaverse ✨royalty ( one alpha prince) ✨forced proximity ( dating reality tv show) ✨1st person pov and dual pov
Knot My Fairytale Ending, Part One, book 6 of the FatedVerse series, by Tana Rose. @tanaroseauthor is an author that I am enjoying.
Oh my poor Florence! 😭 What a tearjerker of a story this was about Florence, Forsythe, Courtland, Grieves, Thayer & Piers! Tropes: Omegaverse, Contemporary, Why Choose With MM, Nobility, Reality TV Dating Show, Are They Fated Mates? & A Brutal Cliffhanger!
Tana Rose omegaverse just hits different. You know exactly what you're going to get, it's juicy, dramatic angst and every single time I am seated and ready to eat!!
Knew this one was going to end up on a cliffy and tried to hold out (at least until we had a release date for part 2) but alas, I am weak.
I just binged this book not knowing it was just released and it has a cliff hanger! This book is so amazing and I'm bawling my eyes out please tell me when part 2 will be released so I can at least have a countdown to the happy ending I love this story and I cannot wait to read more
Eow, just wow this first part of the story really has me hooked. Right from the word go. I honestly didn't want to put it down it was that good for me. The characters are compelling but I can't help but feeling sorry for Ren or the men. But im hoping that they will see sense in the next book. This really is a must read series, and now to the end book i can't wait.
“I really like ren” “but we can’t have her” round and round and round and round it fucking goes. Chapters of these men playing and toying with the female lead wants me to tear my fucking hair out. Just shoot me.
This is the plot point of the whole book for some goddamn reason. It’s immature and so dull.
I inhaled this book, yes! This is how you do it omegaverse!
I love it, the slow burn, the drama, the love vs duty, i feel very giddy because this is exactly how I imagined the drama unfolding behind the scenes of a reality tv show. The characters are fleshed out.I don’t even mind the minor inconsistency and editing issues but the plot was very solid on this one.
Spoiler alert... or not. This isn't the whole story. And it's not that you don't know what's going to happen. But I've got tears running down my face as I write this. Talk about evil an grandmother! Thank all that's holy part 2 is available... I think? If not my inner omega will be whining in distress. I needs my HEA!
I love a good Tana Rose book, but this one is absolutely chef’s kiss good. I loved the character development, loved the setting, loved the angst, and I am absolutely destroyed by the ending in all the best ways. I cannot wait until part 2
Omg that cliffy!!!! I’m an emotional mess right now. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and got so angry at the stupid alphas!!! Ugh!!! There better be epic levels of groveling in book 2. Epic!
A well written story that allows you to see inside these characters and find out more about each one of them - some good and some bad. I found this story engaging, humorous at times, heartfelt and heartbreaking. I can’t wait to read the rest of their story.
Oh man. The angst in this is delicious! I cannot wait to read the next book! This is one of those books I just couldn't put down, totally addicted. Jumping into part 2 now!
