I helped put him behind bars. But he may be the only one who can save me.

I stopped living the night my world went dark. What’s left of me is a shadow fueled by a single purpose: justice.

I’ve spent years living for the dead, honoring the friends I lost while waiting to face the man who took everything from me. I was prepared for the truth. I thought I knew how the story ended. But a sudden blizzard, and a twist of fate, has driven me off the road and straight into the arms of the man I helped put away.

Valen Creed.

To the world, he’s a villain. To me, he was a nightmare. Now, I’m stranded in his isolated cabin while the snow buries my car and my only chance at escape. He’s scarred, hardened, and has every reason to hate me. He spent years behind bars for a crime I thought I witnessed... a crime I was wrong about.

Outside, the true threat is still out there, stalking through the whiteout. But inside these cabin walls, the tension is more volatile than the storm. Valen doesn't just want an apology. He wants the truth. And as the lines between my enemy and my protector begin to blur, I realize the only thing more terrifying than the shadow hunting me is the man who just saved my life.

In this cabin, the past never stays buried. It always finds a way to leave a mark.

A total bookworm and a hopeless romantic, Dani Antoinette likes to write the kind of stories she loves to read—stories about hot alpha males who embrace the thin line between right and wrong, and the strong, fearless women who are able to handle them. When Dani isn’t devouring books by her favorite authors at her local café in downtown Chicago, she spends her time interviewing prospective characters out loud in public places, all while planning her takeover of the romance world.

「⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 4.5 Star Review...」☀︎ LILAC AND BONE☀︎ Is the first full length enemies to lovers romance book in the (Petals and Bone) series by new to me author Dani Antoinette.

Hero (Valen) She calls him: My Viking Overlord Heroine (Seraphine) He calls her: Little Lamb.

I'd seen this pop up a few times on my feed in here on release day, read the blurb and of course I had to grab it off Amazon. Excited to see what this author throws at me...

Tropes:
❥ Enemies to Lovers
❥ Forced Proximity
❥ Anti Hero
❥ Slow Burn
❥ Wrongfully Convicted
❥ Killer On The Loose
❥ Survivor Guilt
❥ Touch her and die

I really enjoyed this, not knowing what to expect as I’d only had the blurb to go by and went in blind without looking at reviews. Not expecting that the very first chapter is when shit hits the fan, utter terror reigning down upon a group of sorority sisters, the screams, the terror, the sounds of their deaths, killed within their home, right on campus with one survivor with a slashed throat marring her skin.

Putting the perpetrator inside should’ve been the end of it..But that man rotting behind bars..He’s innocent..

Six years after that horrific night Seraphine has stepped out of the shadows and come back to where it happened stronger than ever, she's going to lure him in by using herself as bait and killing him. But that night as she's driving through a blizzard to reach the mountain where she's rented a cabin to do the deed, she crashes her car and barely makes it to the nearest cabin alive, only when that door opens she's staring in the eyes of the man she sent to prison.

A lesser man would've shut the door in her face..But not Valen..Now she was trapped inside his cabin with a storm raging at their door and no escape in sight.

❝She's mine now, whether she realised it or not.
I'd kill for her. Burn the world down for her.
But the only thing I wouldn't do was let her go.❞

With a twist I never saw coming, these two are going to work as a team to bring justice to the lost victims and right the wrongs of that night by catching a killer...

I've never loved two characters as much as I did these two, Valen had me swooning like no other, he went into prison a happy go lucky kind of guy, coming out he was a completely different man. Hardened, ruthless, protective..Seraphine had me giggling continuously, every thought she had escaped her mouth, she was like a breath of fresh air... 65451226-2019570151487824-6157464638251335680-n

Let me start off by saying if you love Butcher and Blackbird, romantic suspense enemies to lovers, I think you'll definitely enjoy this one, the story is emotional and tugs at my heartstrings. This book does have triggers but for me it wasn't as dark as I thought it would be🙈😅will definitely be reading more from this author

Plot Summary

I had an absurd amount of fun reading Lilac and Bone by Dani Antoinette.

Was it perfect? No.
Did I care? Also no.

This book grabbed me almost immediately and refused to let go. The pacing is quick, the tension is high, and it’s ridiculously easy to devour. I picked it up thinking I’d read a few chapters before bed and suddenly I looked up and I was at 57% like, excuse me??? When did that happen?

One of my favorite things about this book was how unique the premise feels without needing a bunch of complicated world building. A woman who helped put a man behind bars suddenly finds herself snowed in at an isolated cabin with him years later… while something dangerous is stalking the woods outside. The setup alone creates this delicious tension where the past keeps creeping back in and nothing is quite what it seemed.

And then there’s the romance.

Because wow.

The enemies-to-lovers tension is already doing a lot of heavy lifting thanks to their history, but once the chemistry starts kicking in? It’s chef’s kiss. The spice hits that perfect sweet spot where it feels intense and addictive without completely taking over the story.

And Valen Creed?

Yeah… he’s officially been added to my Book Boyfriend Hall of Fame.

Scarred, dangerous, morally gray, and deeply protective?
Say less.

Overall, this book was fast-paced, addictive, and wildly entertaining. It may not have been flawless, but it absolutely delivered on tension, atmosphere, and swoony moments.

I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for Dani Antoinette’s future books, and I’m already excited for the next installment in the series.

Huge thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I chose this book because it was giving Butcher and Blackbird vibes.
When I first started it, I was a little hesitant because I thought it might have been too dark for me. I was pleasantly surprised when the story turned out to be nothing like I expected.

The dedication had me hooked….
“You didn’t come here for a bedtime story. You came for the chase. For the blizzard. For the man you should have feared… and loved anyway.   Enjoy the wreckage, you feral little thing.”

Seraphine survives a serial killer and is set out to find him and end him after all. But on her way, she crashes right in front of a cabin who is owned by the man she thinks killed her friends. But soon, she discovers that he is not who she thought he was and start to develop feelings for each other.

I actually really enjoyed this book! It was dark and kept me guessing what was going on.

I would recommend this book to someone who is looking to scratch your Brynne Weaver itch or is interested in reading a dark romance about a supposed serial killer.

I’m excited to read more by this author!

Favorite Quotes:

“Maybe I’ll just pee on you. Right here in your lovely king-sized bed.” “Kinky, but not my thing. Although I could make an exception this one time.”

“And because I wasn’t winning any awards for Woman of the Year, I let my tongue press against his skin, tasting him. He was a mix of sweat, and cedar, and the darkest kind of sin ever made.”

“Congratulations, you survived a serial killer and hypothermia! Your reward is an over-the-top possessive ex-con who looks at you like you're made of diamonds.”

Dark romance x suspense

Forced proximity when she crashes on the mountain of the innocent man she helped to put behind bars. One thing leads to another and they start falling for the other while waiting for the real killer

I was hooked from the first chapter!
There were parts that had me kicking my feet and giggling and then in the next chapter I was holding my breath

And omg the things this man says 😍
‘She could ask me for anything at this point, and I would give it to her. Deed to my cabin? Take it. My dark and twisted soul? I’ll sign it right over’
‘She was mine now, whether she realized it or not. I’d kill for her. Burn the world down for her. But the only thing I wouldn’t do was let her go’
“My girlfriend?” I chuckled darkly. “You think she’s something as simple as that? She’s carved into my fucking soul. So don’t ever reduce her to a word that insignificant again.”

I enjoyed this book.  It had all my favorite tropes, strong FMC, enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, and lots of spicy scenes.

Seraphine survived a serial killer, and the person she thought it was has been exonerated. She has one mission-lure the killer in and finally put an end to it all.

Valen was always innocent. Having had to adapt to life in prison is forced to turn into a monster. It was his only way to survive. He may have been innocent going in, but left as something ugly and twisted.

Seraphing decides to use social media to leave breadcrumbs for the unaliver she travels to where it all started. Of course, with her luck the universe said, “I have a better plan." She ends up crashing onto a frozen lake, with a car that is a goner. To top it all off, she's in the middle of a blizzard, and it's a big one.  Taking her chances with the storm, she tries to find somewhere to escape the storm. Just as she is about to call it quits she finds a cabin.

The last face she sees before she blacks out is, "His,” Valen.

Valen bought some land and a cabin so he could escape the world. So, imagine his surprise when his arch nemesis who is also half dead, is on his doorstep. Not really understanding his actions, he decides to help her.

These two are true enemies that are literally snowed in. Now they have to  find a way to be in the same room together.

Avoiding the elephant in the room, the tension between them builds and builds.  One night Seraphine finds a game, “Truth, Trouble or Sin,” and convinces Valen to play with her. The game leads to a discovery of tough truths, and true remorse.

As they get to know each other, sparks start to fly, and even though this book is a slow burn, when the sparks hit, it turns deliciously spicy.

The book just builds and builds leading to a final showdown that is the best. This is definitely a book you need to add to your TBR.

Lilac and Bone is a fun little enemies-to-lovers book full of tension and spice. The FMC, Seraphine, is on a crash course with redemption, looking to put an end to an atrocity committed against her six years ago. The MMC, Valen, an ominous figure from her past, is who she unintentionally crashes into. Seraphine becomes stuck with Valen during a brutal winter storm and the duo must decide if the forced time spent together will send them further into darkness or bring them the forgiveness they both need.

While the book is well written, I do have lingering thoughts, specifically in regard to Valen's time in prison and Seraphine's infantilization:
-Valen eludes many times to murders he committed while incarcerated... but yet he is still exonerated of the crime he was originally incarcerated for and released after wrongfully serving 5 years. What about the crimes he admits to committing in prison? How he became a "monster" and enjoyed it. Were they self-defense? Manslaughter? It is never elaborated on, so we don't know.
-Based on evidence given in the book's narration, Seraphine is anywhere between 24 and 28 years old, however she presents as much younger. She is portrayed as being tiny, bratty, clumsy, annoying, and has little to any self-preservation skills-- She drives through a blizzard in the Adirondacks; She pays little mind to Valen's "rules"; She keeps letting strangers into the cabin; She risks it all for a bracelet!! She is also a virgin, and her given pet-name is "little lamb". It was hard for me to visualize her as the final girl she was meant to be.

All in all, Lilac and Bone was a fun, quick read and I'm interested to see what comes next!

Lilac and Bone by Dani Antoinette

Great story! I kept telling myself just one more chapter, but couldn't put it down.

*Enemies to Lovers
*Suspenseful
*Possessive MMC
*HEA
*Spicy

Six years after being the only surviver of a serial killer, who ran rampid through her Sorority House, killing 5 of her friends, Seraphine Ashford returns to the town that ruined her life. The man that was falsely accused for the murders, was released after five years in prison, Valen Creed. She knew, the real killer was still out there. Seraphine Ashford was broken from her past trauma. Living but not, at the same time. She's done being the victim, done hiding. Ready to make herself bait, to lure out the killer. So what are the chances that, Seraphine would crash her car in a blizzard, and wind up stranded at the doorstep of, none other than, the man she helped put in jail for murders they both knew he didn't commit.

I really enjoyed the relationship building in this Enemies to lovers story. The tension between these two! I loved the card game, and cherry pie scenes (both in the store & in the shed). Valen Creed with his handworking skills, and burley lumberjack, mountaineer vibes. He is possessive, in a hurt her and I hurt you kinda way, but even though he has a strong exterior he really can be a softy at times. Good spicy scenes to go with the plot, with a few twists along the way. They overall story was great, it was exciting and I didn't want the story to end. I laughed out loud and yelled "no,no,no" at the pages. I highly recommend this book!

Lilac and Bone by Dani Antoinette is a book that will break your heart and make you fall in love from the very first page! 💜

The story starts with a horrific murder at the Kappa Theta sorority, and the only survivor is Seraphine. For six years, she just exists, carrying the weight of guilt and trying to live out her friends’ dreams. But one day, she decides to return to her hometown to lure the killer… and instead, in the middle of a snowstorm, she runs into Valen Creed - the man who spent five years in prison because of her.

Did I like this book? Definitely not… I am in love, utterly in love with the story, the characters, and Dani Antoinette’s writing style. God, this book deserves so much more hype!
Seraphine is such a fighter! Living with that grief and guilt must be an enormous burden. She’s sweet, funny, and fierce all at once – a combination that makes you adore her even more.

And Valen… oh my god, do I have a new book boyfriend? Yes, absolutely! 😍 Sexy ex-con, skilled with his hands 😉, respectful yet dominant with his partner… and the reason he claimed that extra land… no spoilers, but ooooh, yes. He is the perfect combination for me.

These two are wounded souls who heal each other with love, and they finally find happiness. This book is packed with emotions – laughter, love, grief, sorrow, hope, and revenge.
The ending made me cry and then I was begging: what happened to Emmeline??? I just finished this one, and I am dying for the next book – I need to know her story!

Huge thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this book as an ARC.

Okay but this book?? I was not mentally prepared.
I went into Lilac and Bone thinking I’d casually read a few chapters before bed and instead it completely ruined my sleep schedule because I physically could not stop reading. The vibes are dark, messy, intense, and a little bit unhinged in the best way.
The story follows Seraphine, who returns to the town tied to a brutal past involving the murder of her sorority sisters. She’s determined to finally face what happened… except the man connected to it all, Valen, is suddenly back in her life. And being around each other again? Let’s just say the tension is immediate and very complicated.
This book thrives on emotional chaos. There’s guilt, anger, secrets, and a lot of unresolved history between these two characters. Watching their dynamic unfold felt like playing with fire — you know it’s dangerous but you can’t look away.
And the chemistry?? Absolutely feral. The kind of tension where you’re sitting there like “this is a terrible idea… but please continue.”
I also loved that it’s dual POV, because getting inside both of their heads makes the story feel even more intense. Neither of them is perfect, both are carrying a lot of baggage, and that messy emotional push and pull makes everything feel addictive.
The thriller side of the story kept me guessing too. Just when I thought I had things figured out, something else would happen and suddenly I was questioning everything again.
Overall this book is dark, chaotic, emotional, spicy, and impossible to put down.
If you like stories that feel a little dangerous and keep you saying “one more chapter” until it’s 3am… you’ll want to read this.

ARC REVIEW - 4 stars - I really enjoyed this book! (may contain spoilers)
We follow Seraphine who is the sole survivor of the murders of her sorority sisters, and Valen, who was wrongly convicted for the murders. We watch their journey of grief, revenge and self-discovery.
The prologue immediately had me hooked! I really enjoyed this story; it was very fast paced and funny at times, but the romance was still intense. Both characters battle with their trauma and mistrust but it turns into genuine chemistry between the two.
I would’ve enjoyed more backstory and development into our MMC, Valen. He spent time in prison whilst wrongly convicted of the murders of Seraphine's friends, but I was missing that understanding of who he was before prison, like we got with Seraphine before and after the murders of her friends, to fully appreciate his character development.
I really enjoyed the writing style of this and found it super easy to read and digest. I also liked the set-up for the next instalment of this universe and will keep an eye out for this.

Thanks to Dani Antoinette and Victory Editing for this ARC! 😁

Favourite quotes:
“Trust no one, become invisible, and don’t let the past drag you back to hell.”
“He’d let me think I was the hunter, when really, I was the prey.”

Thank you NetGalley for this Arc and Dani for writing this amazing book.

Okay first of all I need to tell this. I loved the names of the characters🥰 Seraphine and Valen.
And the first meet had me cracking up.

Seraphine is emotionally complex but not dramatic. Watching her sorority sisters die in front of her was the worsttt.
Her pain, her emotions, her fear and her courage. She wasn’t totally shut off due to her past. It could not have been an easy decision to go back to where it all started.

And Valen is restrained and guarded. Spent time in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. I liked how he told her about Cyrus in the starting and decided to be partners.

Their chemistry was insane but starting it felt like a bit of Stockholm syndrome.
I liked their character development throughout the story.

Emmeline was one of my favourite character. She was a good friend to Seraphine

And Amy was so predictable, like the first time she texted it felt off to me.
And like Seraphine told daddy issues and mommy issues are common. What is even a brother issue???
Would have loved a little bit more about each of their family. Maybe one chapter?

Overall it was emotional read and it took me one evening to finish it.

Seraphine survived a serial killer and is dedicated to ending it once and for all by giving her friend's the justice they deserve: the death to their killer. She goes back to where it all started when she ends up on the doorstep of the man she assisted in wrongfully convicting. Mother Nature has a funny way of pushing them to fix their trauma when a blizzard traps them together in one house.

This book was absolutely incredible. There was plenty of humor, plenty of spice, with a sprinkle of death and darkness. This was a great enemies to lovers with a strong female character. The spicy scenes had me LOSING IT! Everything was so well written that I read this in every spare moment I could.

Valen had a lot of healing to do throughout the book as he talks about what prison made him to be. I loved that Seraphine brought out the good man, but still loved his darkness. I don't want to spoil anything, so here are the notes I can give. This book has such an incredible build with so many beautiful scenes. The style this book was written had me absolutely OBSESSED! I was feeling all of the emotions with the characters and just was itching to continue reading constantly.

MUST READ BOOK! Definitely my favorite of the month! Kudos to this author because she knocked it out of the park.

“Something hungrier. Something that wanted more than just her suffering. I wanted to possess her. Break her. Make her mine.”

• revenge to lovers
• ex con mmc
• she sent him to prison
• snowed in
• forced proximity x cabin

This was a really good book. It begins with Seraphine, a sorority member, witnessing the murder of her fellow sorority sisters. She thinks she knows who did it but isn’t sure. This uncertainty is what sends Valen, the MMC, wrongly to prison.

Seraphine is returning home after a string of new murders have occurred and they have one thing in common - all the victims look like her. Seraphine wants to end this once and for all but so does Valen. He wants revenge.

On her way home, a blizzard hits and she wrecks her car. Desperate for shelter, she finds a cabin and of course… it belongs to Valen.

This is the perfect setup for the forced proximity & snowed in trope between enemies. 🤌🏻 ❄️ The romance was spicy, and I loved the slow development of their feelings as they start uncovering what really happened that night. This is a dark & twisty read and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Lilac and Bone has a very moody, atmospheric feel that pulled me in pretty quickly. The writing leans poetic at times, which really suits the darker, more emotional tone of the story. This one definitely prioritises vibes and character feelings over fast-moving plot, so it’s more of a slow sink than a high-action read.

The romance is intense but gradual, built on tension, vulnerability, and a lot of unspoken emotion. I liked that the characters felt a bit rough around the edges; they’re not perfectly polished, and their connection grows through messy moments and hard truths. It gives the relationship a raw quality that stands out.

That said, the pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, especially in the middle. If you prefer plot-heavy romance, this might feel slow. But if you enjoy emotionally heavy reads, it works.

This is a dark, atmospheric romance that focuses on mood, healing, and complicated feelings. It’s a good pick if you like angsty, character-driven stories with a slightly haunting edge.

Lilac and Bone ( The Petals & Bones Series Book 1 ) 🖤Dark Psychological Romance 🔥Enemies to Lovers 🖤 Romantic Suspense 🔥 Non Stop Action 🖤Danger 🔥Stalking and all the steamy moments you could ever want or need !! Ok guys , let me just start by saying that I am not someone who typically enjoys reading Romantic Suspense by any means . But Lilac and Bone just might be the exception. What can I say except I just could not get enough of this story , of the characters, all the layers and complexities in this world that Dani has so brilliantly created . To say that I was speechless from the very beginning, that I was so freaking invested and devouring every single word all while reeling from the most unexpected emotions ( well that would be the hugest understatement. You simply need to read this story and experience all its perfection for yourself, because no words can even start to do it enough justice .

If you love a dark unhinged romance with spice, great plot and makes you want to stay up till 3am reading this book is for you. I couldn’t put this book down from the first chapter I was hooked!

It’s a dual PoV book and both the FMC and MMC are complex, flawed, and completely magnetic in their own ways. Their chemistry is intense from the start — the kind of enemies-to-lovers tension that feels sharp, obsessive, and dangerous. You can feel the shift from hatred to something far more consuming, and it’s addictive to watch unfold.

This book is bold and unapologetic, but what makes it hit harder is the emotional depth behind it. It’s messy. It’s chaotic. It’s passionate. And it keeps you turning the pages even when you tell yourself “just one more chapter.”

Definitely a 5 star read for me ⭐️

Dark Romantic Suspense- Amazing Read

If you're looking for your next dark romantic suspense, this is it. My only complaint is that it was too short, and I wish I knew more about this couple! I loved Lilac and Bone; the tension between Valen and Seraphine is so heavy that you can feel it building.

The 'snowed-in cabin' ‘forced-proximity’ trope hits differently with a dark, morally grey hero who leaves a lasting impression on your mind. I read this in one night because I couldn't stop until I had all the answers. The story has such a build-up and the scenes were so detailed that you could feel the emotions of the characters.
The style in which this book is written had me absolutely engaged! The unexpected twists had me guessing the story's direction. This was an excellent read.

Other tropes
*Enemies to Lovers
*Suspenseful
*Possessive MMC
*HEA
*Spicy

I need to unpack this one because WHAT did I just read.

Lilac and Bone by Dani Antoinette is not just twisty… it’s twisted.

The story follows a survivor of a serial killer who returns to her hometown — only to end up stranded in the woods with the man who was wrongfully convicted because of her testimony.

Yes. That man.

The tension is immediate. The mistrust? Thick. The history? Heavy. And somehow, in the middle of survival mode and unresolved trauma, they start slowly peeling back layers of truth.

The dynamic between them is complicated, messy, and morally uncomfortable in the best way. You’re constantly questioning motives, memories, and what really happened.

Did it keep me up way too late? Yes.
Did I finish it in 18 hours? Also yes

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

I found myself having an issue putting the book down. It has all of the makings of a wonderful romance. Favorite tropes of enemies to lovers and close proximity.

A chance glance on a college campus intertwined their futures: the MMC had anger, rage and thoughts of revenge for what happened to him. While the FMC felt guilt for the part she played. to what happened to him. When circumstances threw them together, their relationship blooms and the spice ramps up. Yeah, I forgot to mention it's spicy. He's possessive, burn the world down for her. She's a survivor; won't be a victim anymore. They find a reason to live and find joy in one another.

Imagine you unintentional were responsible for sending an innocent man to prison… then end up snowed in with him😵‍💫. Honeyyy this book is truly a romantic suspense!! This book kicks off with a bang and will have you sitting on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what happens next. Initially I did not like the FMC but she did grow on me as the story progressed. The author truly is a great story teller. She builds the characters and weaves in the plot perfectly! Just when you think you know what’s happening.. PLOT TWIST! This is a story with a smattering of spice.

Thank you so much to Dani and NetGalley for the copy of this book! All thoughts and opinions are my own💜💜

Valen + Seraphine

Lilac and Bone is a delightful dark romance. It's not SUPER dark but it does have its moments of gore and violence so head the trigger warnings before diving in.

Sera is back home, where it all happened. Valen Creed, the man who took out half of her sorority sisters is her target. Sera is living for herself now that she's lived for her sisters. The perfect storm happens and honestly, when he saves her I was convinced he was going to finish the job.

What happens surprised me & the plot twist, *chefs kiss*

Valen is not who he seems and as time passes in the cabin Sera sees him for who he is, not his brother.

The intimate scenes between these two are HOT, HOT, HOT. And just because he looks like a monster it doesn't mean he wouldn't burn the world for you.

Thank you to the author for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

This story was a rollercoaster of emotions and I fell so deeply in love with the characters. The suspense elements were so perfectly done and the tension was palpable through the pages. Seraphine is a total badass and I loved her journey to deal with her trauma and survivors guilt. Valen was nothing I expected and I loved his draw to Sera and commanding presence.

I found myself totally engulfed by the story and rooting for Sera and Valen throughout the entire book. The darker elements of the book were done so well, it was deliciously steamy and swoony.

My adrenaline was through the roof with this book. It had my blood pumping. I didn’t know what was going to happen next. This was exciting and the slow burn was everything. Wanting each other but not knowing how to face it. Finally coming to terms with being innocent and falling for each other. Facing their demons together. And finally getting the relief of it being over. Living happily ever after. I cannot wait to see what comes next with this series 💥

Part Thriller part romance Lilac and Bone is a perfect combination. Seraphine sets out for revenge after surviving a brutal attack that left her friends dead. What she found was something unexpected, complicated and freeing. Valen is a rugged man who wants to stay hidden from everyone until Seraphine stumbles on his doorstep. What unravels is a beautiful story with serial killer moments mixed in.

Seraphine is a college student and one night a serial unaliver 💀s all of her friends and slits her throat. She survives but during court, she puts the wrong man away. She stays away and when she finally comes back for revenge and wanting closure-she ends up on the doorstep of the man she put away wrongfully. They fall so deep for each other but do they survive when the serial unaliver comes back especially with all the secrets of who he is.

The obsession with Valen. Yes please !
