Gone Bones
A savage death. A terrible truth. A village shrouded in lies.
Something dark lurks in the woods in the village of Flimby. Something the villagers are tight lipped about until a homeless man is found dead near an abandoned blast furnace. A known drunkard. A known looser. A man known to wander about at night.
Except his death wasn’t by natural causes.
And he wasn’t an ordinary man.
When Detective Inspector Fenella Sallow and her team are called in, they face a wall of simmering resentment, statements riddled with lies, backstabbing and worse…
But events take a terrible turn that plunges Fenella into a shocking sea of riddles, desperate half-truths and outright deception. Someone is hiding deep in the murk of ancient village lore. Someone is spinning a terrifying spiral of shadows. And someone is trying to save their neck by breaking the neck of others.
