Lana Finch is a twenty-five-year-old social worker. She believes wholeheartedly in saving the world—one broken kid at a time. Lana is headstrong, she’s righteous and she’ll let nothing stand in her way. Except for maybe her entire family that’s financially dependent on her.

Enter Mozey Cruz, the eighteen-year-old juvenile delinquent assigned to her charge. He’s an illusive artist, he’s misunderstood, and he’s a natural born troublemaker.
Their love is illegal, much like Mozey’s undocumented status in the States. So Lana lets him go even though it might be the worst mistake she’ll ever make.
But destiny has a way of catching up with us even when we run from it.

Reviewing a Mara White book is a bit like clenching your hand to your heart. Her books are roller-coaster rides of emotions and THE DELIVERY is no different. Sexy, real, emotional and very gritty, Lana and Mozey will steal your heart even as you stand by in disbelief at the choices Lana makes along the way. But that’s like real life, no?

Lana is struggling to make ends meet, doing what she loves, helping at-risk kids. Her inner voice is often hilarious, which I appreciated in order to alleviate some of the almost unbearable tension in this story.

“Mozey is a ten. Ten for personality and a fucking TEN for the swimsuit competition. Get the sash and the crown. He’s already won. Even my mascara is running.”

You know the inevitable is going to happen between these two but even though there is a bit of insta-love, their relationship is a slow-burn and unfolds over the span of time. And when they do get together, WOW!!

“This is a kiss. This is the kiss I will never, ever forget. I may forget everything else, my own name included, but I know I will never forget how I feel in this moment. I won’t forget his kiss.”

This is a forbidden romance, but don’t be put off by Mozey’s age when they first meet. This book is a whirlwind! I absolutely loved the author’s writing style in The Delivery, it made the story very fresh and different.

Despite the grittiness of this story, Mara White is a romantic at heart, and the ending was all that I hoped for! If you are looking for a very different but very sexy and fast-paced story, read The Delivery. You won’t soon forget Lana and Mozey.

Favorite quote:

Do you think that from a kiss you might see the rest of your future? That a kiss can dissolve all the fears you’ve held onto your entire life? Or that it could assure you that no mistakes were made in solidifying your destiny? That now was meant to be now and everything will turn out fine?

The Delivery is one of those books that takes you on a journey of self discovery, life and finding love and hope. It is about a connection and bond between two people that cannot be explained. Lana Finch is a 25 year old social worker who believes in saving one broken kid at a time. When Lana meets Mozey Cruz, an 18 year old artist who happens to be living in the states illegally, he challenges Lana to step outside the box. He challenges her to admit the growing attraction and feelings she has for him. Without giving much away, The Delivery is not just a forbidden romance but so much more. It deals with family, loss, love and life. Be prepared to get lost in Mara's beautiful writing and get delivered a book that is swimming with emotions.

The very sucessful Author Mara White delivers again!

After suffering the biggest book hangover since The Heightsbound series, I dropped everything for The Delivery.
The beginning of a book has to seriously be one of the hardest things to nail and she is sucessful again - it was great! It had a great level of complexity and featured very believable characters. So refreshing!

I love the real edge it has to it.
I love that the characters are believable.
I love how I can really put myself there.
It's true....it could actually be real!

The story is based on reasonably young characters in the beginning but it presents an appealing read to those who fall out of that demographic. It's not juvenile or immature at all and at the same time they are not acting out of character or more mature than they should be.

Mara White manages to succeed where so many other Authors struggle. Whilst the big picture is awesome it is the small details she gets bang on every time, and these are the hardest to achieve. She has somehow sucessfully made another story that displays clear writing talent, a common problem as a result is tearing your way through the book only then having to wait months to release her next!!

Mara's dialogue was snarky, witty, and intelligent. The Delivery was a forbidden romance between a client and a social worker. Mozey was an eighteen year old Mexican juvenile delinquent and Lana was a twenty-five year old American-Russian immigrant.
Lana maintained professionalism with her clients always focusing on helping them succeed until Mozey. Mozey was the forbidden fruit that tempted her from the moment she looked at his case file. She tried to adhere to her rules, procedures, and boundaries to protect herself from the temptations he caused to her libido.

Mozey was an artist that painted murals on buildings. He was from Mexico living in Detroit. Mozey was a complex character that had a horrific past that carved his future.

For me their were too many road blocks between Mozey and Lana. Lana's character had too many excuses for pushing him away. Lana struggled with her feelings for Mozey deflecting it was unprofessional to have a relationship with him. Then it was the age difference. But mostly it was her fear. She was confused and unfamiliar with this type of attraction. Lana did not trust in love easily. Maybe it was her heritage or being immigrated to the US at a young age. I could not figure it out nor did I really care. Lana struggled to assimilate with others when she first immigrated causing her to have trouble forming friendships.

Lana's character was beyond frustrating. One minute she was delving out excuses why she could not be with Mozey and the next she was scrambling to locate him. Lana's character was a perpetual worrier. Whether she worried about her job, her parents, Mozey, or her image.

I grew tired of her constantly labeling Mozey as a juvenile delinquent. Yes he was young and yes he got in trouble with the law but had talent that was illustrated in those murals.
Lana's like those shoppers who have buyers remorse after spending money on products they don't need. Lana fantasized about sex with Mozey yet when he was present she had her doubts and the guilt stepped in.

Mara created two cultural characters showing both the Mexican and Russian heritage. The connection felt forced trying to mix races creating an unconventional romance. Mara achieved unconventional. I just did not feel the connection regardless of race.
Mara created some fond and memorable scenes with the characters but they were few and far between.
Lana's character battled between insecure and secure. She was secure in her career choices but very insecure about herself as an immigrant.
Where does all this fear and hesitation stem from, in Lana? If anything it should have been Mozey who had fear and hesitation given the way he came into the US.

In a crazy and weird way Mara drummed up some bizarre circumstances to test the love of these two characters. This story had too many loop holes. I had issues with the transitions.

I am seriously in love with this author! The Delivery was an amazing read for me. I know when I read one of Mara's books that I'm going to get a beautiful story, one that is real and packed with emotion. I have to tune out the world around me and just soak in the story.

Lana Finch is a 25 year old Russian-American social worker. She has the best of intentions and truly believes in what she does. She helps juvenile delinquents get on the right path through the organization she works for. When she first meets Moises Cruz, she is immediately attracted to him. She knows it's wrong to feel that way with her being his social worker and she has a job to do. She does her best to keep it professional all while observing him from a distance. I really enjoyed her character. She was so much in her head, condemning herself for thinking perverted thoughts about Moises and trying to talk herself straight! She has a tough exterior, but she is extremely compassionate. Moises, or Mozey as he is known throughout the book is attractive, charming and dangerous for Lana. He does so many sweet things for Lana and she is so closed off to him. But at every turn he is there, placing himself in her life. I don't want to give anything away, but there were so many fantastic developments in this story. I thought I was going to go crazy with all the sexual tension... it was pretty serious!

The plot was different and entertaining. I feel like I learn so much after reading her books. Ms. White's writing is crisp, diverse and flows beautifully that I felt every emotion Lana felt. This wasn't just a forbidden love story, it was so much more! I just know that Mozey and Lana's story will be stuck in my head, as usual after reading one of Mara's books (I still think about Kate and Jaylee)!! Thanks for incredible book hangover, Mara!!!! :-)

*Blog Tour on Agents of Romance*

Lana Finch is an idealist. She thinks that everyone deserves another chance at making things right. Even criminals.

When the file for Moisés Roberto Robles de la Cruz lands on her desk, she has no idea what she’s in for. He’s intelligent, talented, sinfully gorgeous and only eighteen. She knows that the instant attraction that they feel for each other will never amount to anything but the more she learns about this beautiful boy, the harder she falls for him.

Mozey Cruz wanted Lana from the moment that her first laid eyes on her. She always kept him at arms length regardless of how many times he let her know that he wanted to be more. Time passes and things inevitably change – except his desire for the one woman that he can never have.

It’s no secret that I am a passionate Mara White fan! Her heroines are some of the most intricately written in the romance genre today. They struggle to come to terms with the amazing power of their sexuality and have to deal with how that impacts the reality of their lives. They make their own choices and owe no apologies – regardless of societal norms. This is one of the many reasons that I find her work so completely engrossing.

The Delivery at its heart is the purest of love stories and it unfolds under the saddest of circumstances. It deals with inequality of all kinds and in the end it proves that love can truly conquer them all – and I’m a believer…

Mara White has once again taken me on an emotional roller coaster, but this time in a more mature, edgy way. As a self proclaimed "number one fan" of the "Heights Bound series" I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book! The Delivery has the perfect mix of, tragedy, romance , comedy, and even history. From the first chapter you are drug into Lana and Moses love story and you are not let go until the end (well even at the end you will be wrapped up in them still) I truly feel like I learned something other than hot sex and bad boys from this book with its glimpse into what is going on in Mexico today. What I love most about this book is that Mara revels her comic side which turns out to be pretty hilarious and totally enjoyable. I felt that Mara White brought her "A game" with "The Heights Bound" series but it wasn't until "The Delivery" that I saw how truly wonderful her writing style is! Although it is totally different from her first two books "TD" is not one to be looked over I will honestly say I LOVED this book equally as much, if not more.

Another great read from Mara White. I was thrilled to see Ms. White had written another novel. I was surprised to see something new from her so quickly after finishing Fear of Heights. She is one hard working woman. I have to admit I was expecting a story, characters, and tone similar to the Heightsbound series. I was delighted to discover a tale of adventure, passion, and love woven with hilarious and heartfelt humanity. I laughed and laughed again as Mara took me on a fantastic voyage of self discovery and letting go of your past. Once again, White's characters are earthy and captivating, and her story every bit as thrilling. Yet this time, there is an element of humor and playfulness not as prevalent in the Heightsbound Series. Lana and Mozey's love is pure and innocent, while their lust is seductive and raw. Not to be too cliche, but The Delivery delivers the goods. Mara White is keenly aware of the social issues that plague La Frontera (U.S./ MX border) and imparts this wisdom in her storytelling. Intelligent erotica is not always easy to come by. Once again, gracias Mara.

DNF at 62%.

This one had a blurb I liked the sound of so I bought it on a whim. The premise is good but in this case the execution is not.

Part I was readable. I thought that Lani was a little strange. I also thought Mozy was a little weird. The insta lust was just "off" to me. Like it didn't really make a whole lotta sense. The sense of commitment from Mozy, right from the start was a bit crazy.

Then Part II happened right after Lani has a conversation directly at the reader... hmmmm, weird.

Part II was insane. Pages and pages and pages about two random gay dudes and drug taking. Lani sounded like she was experiences a second teenage- hood at 28?? Weird and creepy.

The she finds Mozy and continues to act like a drugged up nut case who cannot have one clear thought process about Mozy. Like get over it, you moron! You just chased him all over Mexico to change your mind. What are you? Two?! Too weird, insane and inconsistent for me.

1 star.

PS Not exactly sure why it was called The Delivery (since I did not finish the book) but I wanted to be delivered from this book!

This is my first Mara White read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really liked Lara. I thought the author did a great job of portraying her as real. Lara is twenty five and works with disadvantaged children as a social worker. It's there that she meets Mozey. He's eighteen years old and living in the streets illegally. Lara can feel the chemistry but fights it. I'm not gonna say much more about the storyline as I don't wanna spoil it. I will say the author took me on a heartwarming journey that will stay with me for a long time.

This was a great read with a unique storyline. I'm certainly going to be looking into the authors other books. Really great read. Loved it.

The Delivery is one of the best stories I've ever been told. Honestly, I don't know that I believe in soul mates, but from the very beginning I wanted them to be together. I loved that the story is a journey of their forbidden love, but every stop along the way felt like a destination. I loved the supporting cast. All of them. I had so much fun on this ride that by the end all I wanted for Lana and Moizes was there happiness. Either alone or apart. Very well written. Awesome book.

Once again Mara White has delivered an incredible story. I couldn't put this book down. I loved the main characters of Lana and Mosy so much, and their journey together was incredible. The depth of these characters were brilliantly written, by an amazing author. I would recommend this book as a must read.

When i saw I had a message from Mara White asking me to review her new book "The delivery" I was firstly very honoured and secondly I was excited to read Mara's new novel as I have loved her previous books. The delivery was no different. I really enjoyed the story from start to finish.
The story was full of raw emotion and was was beautifully written.
Lana is a Russian American social worker that helps kids find their way to a better life after being in trouble with the law. She is a really caring, loving person who always has the best intentions. She loves her family very much and as they are immigrants Lana works hard to support and provide for them all. She's selfless in every way possible and cares as much for the children she meets through her job just as much as she cares for her family.
The children Lana meets through her job are juvenile delinquents who need a lot of help and support and Lana is great at helping them.
Mozey meets Lana when he is sent to her work to enroll in their program. Lana is immediately attracted to him but she knows it's completely wrong to be attracted to him as it crosses all boundaries within her job and she knows she will lose her job if anything happened between them. Lana tries her best to always keep things professional with Mozey but things never work out the way the way you want or expect them to.
Mozey is someone that lives by his own rules, is charming, attractive and hes an amazing artist. He is a very complex character and his back story is so tragic and heart breaking that I needed my tissues.
Mozey came over to the U.S. From Mexico and ended up meeting Lana through her job. He's just as attracted to Lana as she is to him, But he knows that Lana would lose so much if anything was to go further with their relationship just like Lana does.
When Lanas family runs into trouble Mozey is there for Lana and her family. He ends up becoming very close to her family and they love him like one of their own, but Lana continues to push him away.
After not seeing Mozey for 3 years Lana gets a call from Mozey asking for help.
As Mozey was there for her and her family she knows that she needs to be there for him too.
Lana eventually learns that she has to face her feelings for Mozey and goes to him.
This takes them both on a long roller coaster ride across Mexico in search of answers that Mozey has to have about his life.
The story was full of everything a good book needs, romance, laughter, raw emotions, mystery, love and smoking hot sex.
I loved both characters equally and liked how they developed throughout the story. Mozey is dangerous for Lana and she knows that from the start but I loved that love always wins and that she finally took a risk . Lana gave a damn good fight to stop her feelings, to do the right thing and move on but never could.
I enjoyed reading about her courage to let another in to her heart even though that's something she struggles with. The growth of her character throughout the book was very interesting and I was so happy she followed her heart and not her head.
I was very disappointed to reach the end of the book as I wanted to keep reading and following their story. The twist at the end was unexpected and I can't wait to read the next installment to see if their love is strong enough to survive?
Thank you Mara for asking me to review this great book. 4.5 stars

Love has a way of sneaking up on you. Especially when you never asked for it. That can be said for Lana Finch. Twenty something. Has a routine life. Working as a social worker to help kids get back on track. Trying to keep not only herself, but her family afloat. Then one day in walks Eighteen year old Mozey Cruz and she is attracted, smitten, whatever you want to call it right off the bat. She sees nothing but doing the dirty with Mozey and how he makes her body come alive and feels things she has never felt in her life. You know all the feelings you get when you are seriously attracted to someone and you don’t know what to do with yourself. Or the scenario that you just aren’t suppose to be with that person because of these moral standards and ethics that litter our every being, so you don’t have the choice but to be cold and distant towards this person. God, if only it were this simple. This book truly takes you on an upside down emotional rollercoaster. I think I seriously suffered whiplash a few times with this book. The emotional tailspin the female character (Lana) puts you in is something serious. But isn’t that what crazy, inhibited love suppose to do?

Lana, Lana, Lana. *sigh* You have to be the most, frustrating, flip-floppity book character I have read in my existence. Lord, help me. She made me on edge throughout this book. There were times when I had to put the book down and decompress. She put your head through a trip with all the back and forth. At times I question, “damn why is Mozey so hard up for her?” I felt she was the one woman who deserved to be alone in this world for the rest of her life. Yeah she pissed me off. Sorry she is just crazy. Certified crazy!

Ok, you are probably wondering where the 4 stars review comes in? Mozey, Mozey, Mozey. That man was my silver lining. That man was the person that made me come back for more. His confidence, swagger, charm and just over all love for Lana, made me believe in this story and their love. I don’t know, Mozey was my end all be all with this book. Mara wrote his character extremely well. And you know what it worked with the balance between the two. One crazy and the other patient and believing in second chances. Mara’s writing is also what kept me coming back for more. I was frustrated but caring where these two wound up in the end. Is it a tough and crazy road to get to? Absolutely. But seriously, isn’t that why you read books? For the goody two shoe HEAs? I know I don’t.

Out of a 5. I’m giving my first Mara White book a 4. Can’t wait to read more from this author. Please just leave Lana Finch at home!

When I first started this book I a preconceived notion that it would be your typical taboo love story; Woman falls in love with a younger guy resulting in the chance of her losing her job. But what I got in its place was a fantastic love story that pulled at my heart strings. I gobbled this book up within a day and a half and wish a second book or even a novella about these two would be released. There has to be more to this complex and heartwarming story.

Lana, a 25 year old social worker, runs a L.A. based program dealing with disadvantage youth. She has seen it all, from kids on probation to kids who come from broken homes but what she didn't expect was for Mozey to walk in the door. Lana is instantly attracted to the 18 year old street artist but even though he is a notorious flirt she knows that nothing good could come if she gets close. However Mozey isn't your typical street kid. With having no citizenship papers and on the verge of deportation, he has this maturity about him that Lana can't resist. Mozey tries his hardest in the beginning of the book to get Lana to open up to him but has no luck. This is where I started to fall for Mozey. He tries so hard and even goes the extra mile and surprises Lana at a difficult time in her life. He is selfless and we as readers start to see he isn't this punk kid who is always getting in trouble but as a mature man who at a young age has been exposed to horrific things.

Certain things happen between the characters that allow 3 years to go by. We find out that Mozey has gotten married and became a father and Lana had a new boyfriend and a career change. But even though Lana has a new life she is still miserable. There is not a day that goes by that Mozey isn't on her mind. Out of the blue one day Lana receives a phone call from Mozey asking for help. Deciding to take the bull by the horns and finally recognizing her love for him, she leaves her life and quickly finds herself searching all over Mexico for Mozey. Both Lana and Mozey go on a wild adventure where family secrets and inner turmoil are reviled. Can these two make it as a couple or should they just go their separate ways once Moezy accomplishes his goals?

I absolutely loved this book. Both main characters had great dialog and the supporting characters were just what the story needed. My only complaint was that I would have liked to know more about Moezy's mother. I felt that it was a subject that could have been explored a little more but realizing the major events that happen when they were in Mexico, I see why the author didn't elaborate on this matter. This was my first chance of reading a book by Mara White and I will defintely check out some of her other work.

5++++ Stars!!!!

The book is called 'The Delivery' and that is exactly what Mara White did. She delivered unique, memorable characters, a roller coaster of emotions and a story which will stay with you long after you finish the last page.

Mara has such a distinct way with words - I found myself re-reading sentences and paragraphs to really soak up her magical writing. She always takes her characters on unexpected journeys, which is such a refreshing change given that so many Indie books out there are totally predictable and unoriginal. I loved Mosey and Lana - I loved finding out about their histories, their families, their backgrounds and their unbelievable chemistry. It seems some readers were frustrated by Lana's choices, but I LOVED that she took her job so seriously and she wouldn't instantly risk it all for a lusty encounter with Mosey. I love that they really got to know each other inside and out first - I revelled in every last detail they shared - and believe me, it is totally worth the wait. The chemistry in this book is off-the-charts hot!

I can visualise Lana and Mosey so clearly - Mara is able to describe things so vividly it's like watching a movie. I feel like I've seen Mosey's artwork and eaten all that delicious, spicy Mexican food too! The story of how Mosey came to America will haunt me forever - it's hard to believe this is fiction, it just felt so real reading about his harrowing journey. There are many twists and turns in this book, but they are all anchored in a truth and reality (and a drenching of desire) which is fully realised throughout the story.

I am a huge fan of Mara's previous books 'Heights of Desire' and 'Fear of Heights' and I knew the minute she released anything new, I would dive straight into reading it. 'The Delivery' is so different to her previous books, but it was still predominantly clear that I was reading a Mara White book because of it's authenticity, originality and total awesomeness!!!! I finished reading this two weeks ago and I still can't stop thinking about it. I can not wait for Mara's next book - I am a massive fan of this author for life. This book will make you want to travel, take risks and fall in love. Absolutely loved it!

When I started reading The Delivery I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised when I felt an instant connection to Lara. Her everyday kind of girl appeal is what I liked most about her. From her physical description to the way her actions mirrored real life, I just kind of knew I was going to like Lara and connect with her on many levels.

Mozey, well I dare anyone who reads this book not to fall desperately in love with Mozey. He is such a complex character. He is a fantasy that comes to life within the pages of the story. Tall, handsome, rugged, talented, well spoken, sexy as sin, dominate and demanding. I will admit Mozey captured my heart.

I received this book for free from publisher or author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

The Delivery is a story that touches on so many topics. Family, love, life, loss, mystery, hope, desire and grief. As with all of her books Mara White enhances the story by adding in such colorful and vivid descriptions of locations, characters and the various backgrounds from which the characters originate.

Heavy on emotions as are all of Mara’s stories I did feel so many things while reading this story. Mostly I felt compassion, longing, hope and love.

Mara has the ability to lure you into her words and make you yearn for more. In The Delivery she shares a uniquely written story of family, the past, the future, discovering who you were meant to be and how you want to live your life. She shared the good, the bad and everything in between. Within those words you are treated to a vast array of unique and challenging characters which adds additional flavor to the story.
I will admit that while I was not reading the story thoughts of what was to come next would cloud my mind. To me well that’s a sign of a very intriguing book.

I read this during a 24 hour period never having read anything by this author before. I had no idea what to expect, apart from the brief blurb. I do love a younger man, older woman scenario, maybe because my husband was only 17 when I met him and I was the grand old age of 20. Anyway all I can say is that I always check out this kind of story because I can relate to 'dating a younger guy'. What can I say about this book? I loved it, absolutely loved it. I read another review on here and the reviewer said they found the female lead absolutely unlikable and I can understand that because in many respects she was but for all that I absolutely, totally, irrefutably related to her. The loyalty and sense of responsibility she showed to her parents, brother, job and troubled teens was remarkable. I had forgotten but suddenly remembered the forbidden feelings by liking someone you feel you really shouldn't and the lust that drives you but just can't help. This author brought it all back. Yes she was prickly but for all the right reasons. Sometimes you can't do right for doing wrong and I think the author chose the right path for the heroine at the end of Part 1 but when I read it I was gutted for her. Surprisingly, it wasn't all gloom and doom, there was a lot of humour that appealed to me.

I was disappointed when I finished it and I would love to see a sequel,

The Delivery's beginning was great. Lana and Moz didn't behave as ecpected which impressed me. You'd think you know what's going to happen and then Mara White surprises you.

Midway the story took an odd turn for me. Lana's behavior was so unprecedented I completely disconnected from her. The plot then took on a sort of dark comedy sheen to it thanks to drugs, a gay couple, and a weird hotel in a foreign country. It became a quest of sorts that started with finding Mozley, searching for his long lost sister, which ended in a media ruckus fed by family drama.

I loved how the angst level is low, and as always, MWhite wrote a very unique story filled with diversity and unpopular themes. I know when I read an MWhite novel that my head will be turned sideways, backwards, forward, and upside down. I will get the unexpected and my comfort zone will be shattered. As a voracious reader, how the heck could I possibly refuse that?

Mara White has done it again, what a excellent talent she has.
Lana is a social worker, her job is a project director at Pathways. She works with disadvantaged kids and helping them onto the right path in life.
Mozey is a 18 year old street artist with no citizenship and is almost due for deportation. There is a chemistry right from the onset of there first meet but Larna knows that it would be wrong to go there. He tries and tries to get her to open up but she is having none of it. After 3 years she receives a phone call and takes the bull by the horns and starts a emotional journey to search for the one she let slip away !

Mara White has a fantastic style of writing, like you feel like your watching the story play out in front of your eyes, she never ceases to amaze me. You are dragged in right from page one and it is one hell of a ride. Fantastic as always with Mara White. 100% recommend.

Mozey and Lana Where do I begin? I love the promise of a forbidden romance, especially one that isn't a stepbrother romance. I devoured this book in one sitting. It has angst, romance, and adventure. Lana is taken on her own adventure in these pages, one that forces her to learn who she is and what exactly she wants. Mozey He's rough around the edges, but loves with his whole heart. And once he's given it, that's it for him. I loved these two characters because they were different from the norm. A breath of fresh air. Mara definitely delivers with this book, I look forward to reading more.

Mara white does it again I cannot get enough of her books and this one did not disappoint, so many twists and turns my head was racing I didn't know if I wanted to savour this book or race to the end. mosey is so loveable and cute and yes I know that's not his name but it's what I called him in my head after failing to pronounce his for over an hour lol Lana frustrated me to the high hills I screamed many times at her to build a bridge and get over that shit . this book will capture you and confuse you and excite you Mara well done 5 huge stars would I make mosey my book boyfriend yup who doesn't like a cocky moody artist :-)

Mara White Delivers!!!

I am a huge fan of Mara White and was not disappointed in The Delivery..... Mozey and Lana's story was not a typical love story that spans a few years.... Mozey was a sweet charming sorta bad boy who is easy to fall in love with and Lana is a bit older and cynical Who I don't think feels like she deserves love. They come together in this beautiful love story....A must read in my opinion

The book had a great idea! The author's writing was decent. The book was edited. But I could not connect with the heroine who happened to the narrator of the story. She didnt seem a 25 year old working adult. I felt she could milked so much more from her characters.

Too much telling. Not enough showing of emotions.
DNF at 45%

But the author definitely can write but I will check up on her in 2 years
