K.R. Meera is an Indian author, who writes in Malayalam. She won Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2009 for her short-story, Ave Maria.She has also been noted as a screenplay writer of 4 serials.
Meera was born in Sasthamkotta, Kollam district in Kerala.She worked as a journalist in Malayala Manorama, later resigned to concentrate more on writing. She is also a well-known column-writer in Malayalam

ഫിദയുടെ ജീവിതകഥ. ഒരുപാട് നാടോടി കഥകൾ ഇതിൽ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. ഖസാക്കിസ്ഥാനിലേക്ക് ഹിജാസിനെ കാണാൻ പോകുന്ന യാത്രയും അവരുടെ പ്രണയവും കലാച്ചി എന്ന നാടും വിശദീകരിക്കുന്നു.

അടുത്തിടെ വായിച്ചതിൽ ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടതും ആയാസം വായിച്ച് തീർത്തതുമായ ഏറ്റവും പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട എഴുത്തുകാരിയുടെ കൃതി. അത്രയും നല്ലതൊന്നിനെ പറ്റി ഒന്നും എഴുതാൻ പറ്റാതാവുന്നതെന്തെന്ന് അറിയില്ല. എഴുതിവച്ച മികവിനേക്കാൾ അഭിപ്രായം പറയാൻ കൂടി വയ്യെന്നാവും.
