Read this on a whim as I have been enjoying these historical novels this year and want to expanded my author list.
The book is little crazy to say the least.
The heroine finds herself in history literally when she falls through a painting and finds herself in Old West with War Cry who is hunting for her. Well the historical version of her , school teacher Blossom.

Blossom is intrigued by this man but is dictated by do's and don't's of the day. And find herself in a small town where everyone knows each other business and these two struggle to find their way to be together when Blossom needs to change history.

The characters in the novel, weren't exactly how I thought they would be. War Cry is confirmed to the white people stands. He works for the soliders and has a white name which is used interchangeably. He has the more sense, solving the problems and providing the muscles when need which Blossom need given she was stuck in the clouds

Blossom comes off as a little too crazy. She admitted she thinks in a dream and acts like she easily getting back where she come from with a plane.
It's no surprise that she taken to be so and this book basically follows her around as she spouts her knowledge and makes changes to history. It's only the last few chapters, she really wakes up to reality and we see some kind of redemption . In the form of ch
One thing was definitely out of place. The hero calls the heroine 'Kid' through out the novel as term of affection I guess and honestly didn't fell right for the time period. I know there is creative licenses and what not but this was a step too far personally.

The book hasn't stood the test of time and whilst it has the earmarks of historical novels in 90's . I couldn't find myself enjoying it because of the characters. They had potential but they let down until the very last bit which was a little too late.

Shocking!

I enjoy her books so much, I'm reading this series again. However, this particular story is horrible! For an author who generally has such great books this one was a huge disappointment.

I had been dying to read this book for a long time as I'm sucker for time-travels, but this was a DNF for me. After about half a dozen chapters I just couldn't put up with the absolute stupidity of the heroine any longer.

Not much for time travel, but loved this story.

Georgina Gentry has always been one of my favorite historical romance authors. This book is another great read. I loved the time travel plot with it.
War Cry was trying to track the missing school teacher, Blossom, when a girl appeared out of thin air holding his hand. Blossom. Blossom was actually from the future, 1995 to be exact. She fell though the painting and was instantly attracted to War Cry. Blossom went through thick and thin to change history and by her side was War Cry, who she fell in love with.
If you like time travel and historical romances, than I recommend this book. It had everything.
