The Inferno #3

JULIAN

I ran three states to escape an arranged marriage to a monster. I had nothing but wet clothes and desperation when I walked into Inferno nightclub begging for sanctuary.

I didn't expect Elio Marino to see me as dangerous instead of fragile. Didn't expect the head of security for New York's most powerful crime family to look at me like I was someone worth choosing. Didn't expect to fall for a man fourteen years older who treats control like religion.

He says I'm too young. Too inexperienced. Too vulnerable for what's between us.

But I'm not the fragile mafia prince everyone thinks I am. I destroyed my father's empire. I helped bring down the FBI's corrupt investigation. And I'm going to prove to Elio that I'm exactly as dangerous as he secretly believes.

The only problem? My ex-fiancé is still watching. Still waiting. Still convinced I belong to him.

And he's willing to do anything to take me back.

ELIO

I've spent fifteen years maintaining perfect control. Perfect discipline. Perfect emotional distance from everyone except my partners.

Then Julian Bianchi walked into Inferno rain-soaked and desperate, and everything I'd built started cracking.

He's too young at twenty-one. Too inexperienced for this world. Too vulnerable for someone like me. I should keep him at arm's length. Should protect him without getting involved. Should maintain professional boundaries.

But Julian sees me completely—the human and the monster—and chooses me anyway. He's brilliant and brave and refuses to be treated as fragile. He challenges everything I thought I knew about control and mercy and what it means to love someone.

I'm falling for him. Hard. Fast. Irreversibly.

And when his psychotic ex-fiancé kidnaps him to finish what he started five years ago, I'll burn the entire city down to get him back.

Because loving Julian means being willing to show mercy and commit murder in equal measure.

And I'd do both for him. Without hesitation. Without regret.

A dark M/M romance where a sheltered mafia prince seeks sanctuary from a man who never lets his control slip. High heat. Morally grey characters. Obsessive love. No cheating. HEA.

Book 3 in the Inferno series. Each book features a different couple but follows an interconnected story. Can be read as a standalone.

I think I’m actually gonna read the whole series because i really like these characters. I loved how they all worked together and had each other’s backs, that was probably one of my favorite things about this book.

I’m not gonna lie tho, I was kinda bored at first it felt like the same shit was being repeated over and over and overr, especially Elio going on and on about how he wasn’t right for Julian like SIR … we heard you the first 10 times

And honestly, I pretty much knew where the plot was going from the start :) so it wasn’t exactly giving me anything new or shocking. BUTT I still enjoyed the hell out of it. The characters carried this book for me and I’m definitely curious enough to keep going with the series.

Better the further you go. An enjoyable storyline with likeable characters. I like how each book plays to the next.

I’ve tried to read this series slowly to savor the universe but sometimes, if you have a bad day, it’s nice to read something you know is going to hit you just right… this author provides that kind of story.

These two were wonderful subjects. Read. You’ll enjoy.
