She never asked for a crown.
Now the fate of the gods is bound to it.

Nyx ascends the throne of Olympus with blood still drying from the Trials — but becoming queen is only the beginning. The Pillars that hold the world together are cracking, magic is unraveling, and whispers rise from the void where the Primordials once slept.

If the Pillars fall, so will every realm.

To restore them, Nyx must face impossible decisions, terrifying journeys, and step into a power that frightens even the gods. Hera coils her schemes tighter, betrayal stalks Olympus, and enemies wear familiar faces.

Every choice demands sacrifice and some losses cannot be undone.

Through it all, the gods who claimed her will not let her stand alone.
Hades, all shadowed devotion and ruthless loyalty.
Apollo, golden and burning, ready to scorch heaven for her.
Ares, war incarnate, willing to set the world aflame if she falls.

Together, they are her strength.
Together, they are her undoing.

Chaos has awakened in Nyx’s veins — and chaos does not yield.
It remakes. It ruins.
If she can’t fix the Pillars in time, Olympus will break…and she might be the one who shatters it.

Nyx retelling

Wow wow what can i say, it didn't disappoint at all.
Character growth, the endless love and sacrifice, the tethers, the court intrigue, betrayal, found family. It's all there. It feels like ages since I've waited to read this next installment and i now can't eait to read the 3rd.

If you LOVE greek god retellings then get this read pronto as its a retelling about the goddess Nyx, oh wow what a woman and the fact that she gets to be adored by 3 gods. Jeez ooooft thise scenes were juicy (but their not the plot).

Thank you Raven, wow you genius. I've loved every minute of this book

There are books you enjoy… and then there are books that consume you. Chaosborn by Raven Ash absolutely consumed me.

Before I even dive into the story itself, I have to say how much I adore Raven as an author. Her kindness and engagement with readers shine just as brightly as her storytelling. You can feel the heart she pours not only into her work but into her community. She connects, she listens, she celebrates her readers — and that warmth translates onto every page. Supporting her work feels personal, and reading her stories feels like stepping into something crafted with genuine love.

Now, let’s talk about Nyx.

Nyx, Queen of Olympus, has officially become one of my top three MFCs of all time. She is everything I crave in a heroine: determined, unyielding, powerful — yet profoundly human. Her strength isn’t just about magic or status; it’s in her resilience. She endures. She fights. She feels. And that humanity is what elevates her beyond the archetype of a mythological queen. She doubts, she loves fiercely, she stands tall even when the world threatens to crush her. Watching her navigate power, responsibility, love, and betrayal was mesmerizing. She doesn’t bend easily — but when she does, it’s because she chooses to, not because she’s broken. That distinction makes her unforgettable.

And then there’s Ares, God of War.

Oh, Ares.

He is slowly but surely becoming one of my all-time favourite MMCs. His raw emotion is breathtaking. The rage, the power, the barely contained violence — it’s intense, visceral, magnetic. But what makes him beautiful isn’t just his strength; it’s the vulnerability threaded through it. His feelings aren’t polished or gentle. They’re messy. Explosive. Honest. His love feels as powerful as his fury, and that contrast makes every scene with him electric. You don’t just read his chapters — you experience them.

The plot itself wasn’t politically dense the way many war- and mythology-based fantasies tend to be. Instead of overwhelming readers with layers of strategy and court maneuvering, it strikes a perfect balance. There’s enough tension, enough intrigue, enough shifting loyalties to keep you alert and invested — but never so much that you feel lost or bogged down. It moves. It grips. It keeps you turning pages well past the point you meant to stop.
And the emotional journey? Absolutely devastating in the best way.

This story kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The romance melted my heart — soft, fierce, consuming — only for the betrayal at the end to shatter it completely. I wasn’t prepared. I didn’t want to be prepared. The slow build of trust and connection made the final twist hit that much harder. It’s the kind of heartbreak that lingers, that leaves you staring at the last page in stunned silence.

Chaosborn is powerful, emotional, addictive storytelling. It’s myth and war and love and fury wrapped into one unforgettable ride.

I am beyond excited for the next book. Truly. I need answers, I need healing, and I need more of these characters immediately. And beyond this series, I cannot wait to read everything Raven writes next. If this is the standard she’s setting, I will gladly follow her anywhere she takes us.
If you love strong, complex heroines, morally intense gods, and romance woven through chaos and war — this book belongs on your shelf.

And Raven? You’ve created something unforgettable. I’m already counting down to what comes next. 💔✨
