An absolute gem for self taught designers
I have spent plenty of money on interior design books from some really good authors and institutions, yet have not come across such a clear and concise breakdown of actual principles in a format that is perfect for someone who is trying to incorporate them and use techniques without the endless trial and error of reinventing the wheel. Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for.

Lots of information and good tips
This explained some elements of design such as harmony, balance, rhythym and so on, but it was a little difficult to get past the awkward writing style and grammatical errors. It did have substance and merit, but in places it sounded like it was written by a non-native speaker, hence the 4 rather than 5 stars.

Easy and useful read
The advice was helpful. The price was right! Good beginners guide. This is not meant to be a deep dive into all things design. I think the book served its purpose as a beginners guide. I know I made some nice changes to my home bc of this book
