This book hit me harder than I expected. I picked it up just for a fun mystery, but the way Danie handles the themes of hidden truths really resonated with where I’m at right now.

Finally, a mystery that doesn't rely on gore to be scary. Loved the faith elements woven in, didn't feel preachy, just natural.

Solid 4 stars. Pacing was a bit slow in the middle but the ending made up for it.

The balance between the mystery and the romance/faith elements was handled well. Neither overpowered the other.

If you like Dee Henderson or Terri Blackstock, give this a try. It has that same comforting but suspenseful vibe.

4 stars from me. Took me a couple of chapters to really get into the rhythm of the writing, but once the mystery kicked in, I was hooked.

I read a lot of Christian suspense and this one stands out because of the emotional depth. It’s not just about 'who did it', it’s about internal struggle too.

A solid debut. There were moments where I wanted to shake the main character, but I think that was the point! She felt very human.

Reminds me a bit of the older Love Inspired Suspense books but with a modern voice.

Good clean suspense. It’s not the most complex thriller I’ve ever read, but it has a lot of heart and the message is beautiful.

Enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It’s hard to find mysteries that are safe to leave on the coffee table for my kids to pick up, so I appreciate that.
