Memoirs of a Telepath #15
The Gaslighter: Book 15: A Progression Portal Fantasy Series
I’ve read humans. I’ve programmed them. I’ve steered them toward their most secret desires.
Think it’s hard to make someone cross the line? Believe me, it’s not.
I once got a guy to eat three whole hamburgers despite being on a strict diet. He walked into the restaurant intending to order only a salad. But I spotted that faint spark of doubt in his “Maybe just one burger? Okay, maybe two?” So I gave him a gentle nudge, and he walked out with a tray loaded with fast food, weeping and declaring, “I am so weak!” All the while, I sat at the next table, barely holding back my laughter.
I am a telepath. And that explains it all.

Great again
Once again the author comes through with a great story. The is no need for him to worry about translation issues of any other concern. The story has excellent flow and the plot is consistently evolving in an excellent manner. There! I an a native English speaker, and the last sentence was awkward..... But you all got it,
right? That minor awkward wording is not the way an American would describe the plot, but is still 100% correct and understandable. So when the author worries over translation issues, he should NOT. There are hundreds of novels in this genre, both from native speakers and foreign translations, and 99.9% pale in comparison.

the trumpets sound
War is constant in this mileu, and the hero is an instigator of conflict. Allies are slowly coming to realize that the hero is not a pushover, upstart, or demon in disguise

Just a waste
An entire book of "not much". It's simply a series extender and does little to advance the story. In other words....a money grab.
