Having survived the Ice Age in Book One, now Sky and Hoppy find themselves in the haunted Salem Village. The year is 1692. When they look out one of the time machine's windows and see the Salem Witch Trials in progress, Sky vows to save the victims using a little "diplomacy." In the process, she becomes Reverend Samuel's next victim.
Now this traveling duo must take down the evil reverend and return safely to Grandpa Doc's farm. But their deadline to get back inside the time machine is looming, and Sky is trapped in jail awaiting trial.
